Are you ready for the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping? Target announced in a press release today that they are very ready and have actually been planning since February of this year to revamp a few things to make your shopping more merry and fun.
Free Shipping is Back
Starting 11/1 (next week if you can believe it) Target.com will bring back it’s free shipping on any order size! This will run through 12/23. You can also select to pick up at your local store… but why you want to have to get dressed I don’t know.
New Weekend Deals
Starting November 11th, look for weekend only deals each Saturday & Sunday. Don’t worry the deals will also be online!
They aren’t sharing exactly what to expect but do say: “They’re timed perfectly to help you save on everything you need for your holiday prep (think kitchen gear right ahead of Thanksgiving). We’ll reveal the deals the week before each starts, so stay tuned to social media, TV, in-store signage and more. Believe us, they’re worth the wait.”
Linking REDCard & Cartwheel
Starting in November REDcard holders can use Cartwheel offers and pay all with one scan of the mobile app! They will link your cartwheel and a new mobile wallet feature together with one barcode. Say goodbye to forgetting to use cartwheel offers at checkout!!
More Fun In-Store
They are hiring more staff so that you won’t have the classic one line is open experience. Plus this year they are adding toy demos, fun photo ops and even more Target exclusive gift items and snacks. They are also adding gift displays in the store featuring nearly 1,700 gifts with most of these items being under $15.
New GiftNow Feature
Watch for a new feature on Target.com called GiftNow. You select an item and it sends an email to recipient to pick the colors and size they want (or to pick out something else entirely) before the item ships. This way you know they like it and that it fits!
New Exclusive Brands
This year Target has added 8 brand new exclusive lines, including Project 62, JoyLab and the newest Hearth & Hand with Magnolia (yay for Chip & Joanna) that launches 11/5. The Hearth & Hand line will feature over 300 items that are mostly all $30 or less.
