If there’s one thing that all of my kids have loved as babies, it’s Taggies. So many kids love rubbing the satin edges on blankets, clothing labels, and more. So, why not make a toy covered in satin tags?
Taggies are designed for simple interactive fun and to be soothing. They have great characters for either boys or girls which make them a perfect gift for baby showers!
Mary Meyer sent me some of their Taggies to try out and not only are they adorable, but really soft! The two characters are Zoey the Zebra and Spotted Frog. Zoey the Zebra is pink, so it would obviously be good for a baby girl’s shower. The Spotted Frog is a unisex character, so it can either be for a boy or someone who’s waiting for the sex of their baby to be a surprise.
All of the toys are colorful and extremely soft made primarily of a kind of microfiber, fleece feel! Each line has Cozy Blanket, Character Blanket, Soft Toy and a Rattle. The cozy blanket is 16″x16″ and has ribbon loops all around the edges. The front is soft with a picture of the character. The back is covered in a nice satin fabric that every kid will love. A smaller option is the 12″x12″ Character blanket which is very much like the Cozy Blanket but has a stuffed animal version of the character in the center of the blanket.
Another cute option for a baby is the Rattle. It’s a small version of the character with a rattle inside to keep your baby calm and entertained. Lastly is the Soft Toy. I thought it was the most impressive toy in the bunch because it’s larger and I think older kids could even enjoy it. Not only is the fabric soft, but the stuffing is light and the animal is easy to handle. The frog has the ribbon loops going all around him and the zebra has them going down her mane.
Overall, I think these would make precious gifts for a shower, or just to buy for your own kids. If they’re anything like my kids, these will end up being their favorite toys.
