This can help with your budget because you can take advantage of deals on certain key meal ingredients, and it will also keep you from eating out long term if your freezer is stocked with tons of already-made meals! Stock the Freezer: Freezer Breakfast Recipes (with Shopping List!)
I’ve found 5 delicious breakfast recipes that you can make and stick in the freezer. Unlike some of my other stock the freezer posts, these will just be things people can grab out of the freezer whenever they want. It’s great for lazy summer mornings as well as busy mornings during the school year.
At the end of the post is a grocery list if you want to make ONE batch of each of these recipes.
Make Ahead Breakfast Bowls (makes 6 servings)
These breakfast bowls are similar to what you can buy at the store in the freezer section at a fraction of the cost! Once you have prepared the bowls, place them in freezer safe storage containers. Warm up by removing the cover and microwaving for 1-2 minutes.
Freezer Breakfast Sandwiches (makes 12 servings)
These freezer breakfast sandwiches are packed with flavor and protein. To freeze, wrap in parchment paper or tinfoil and place in a freezer safe bag.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Baked Oatmeal Cups (makes 12 muffins)
Here’s a sweet breakfast option for those of you who don’t love savory breakfasts. These muffins are full of flavor but also a lot of healthy ingredients. To freeze them, let them cool and then place them in a freezer safe container.
Smoothie Packs (makes 8)
These smoothie packs are a great way to be prepped for making healthy and delicious smoothies in a flash! You can add a variety of frozen fruits and even add things like spinach or peanut butter. You’ll just freeze the ingredients in a freezer safe bag.
Egg Muffins (makes 12 muffins)
These are low carb and gluten free, a great way to add some protein in the morning! To freeze these, let them cool completely and flash freeze them on a pan. Then place them in a freezer safe container.
