Spring is officially upon us and our family is excited about our usual Easter traditions (like Resurrection Eggs). But also, Spring has us thinking about growth, flowers, hatching baby chicks, bunnies and more. Here are some crafts to make with your kids to celebrate Spring and Easter!
Fill the bottom of the stocking with grass seeds and put soil on top of them. Decorate the face however you want, put it on a pot and watch the hair grow into grass. Your kids are going to love making this little guy and watching his hair grow day by day.
These Spring-themed finger puppets are simple and adorable. Just find some sheets of felt in the colors you want, some embroidery floss, and make bunnies, eggs or chickens.
If your little ones like to play dress up, they’ll love these printable bunny and lamb ears. This craft is really simple. Just print the ears and tie a string around them. Put the ears on your kids like a headband.
Throw some popcorn in the microwave, grab some construction paper, glue, ribbon and a pencil for this craft. Draw a lamb head and body and cut them out. Glue on the legs to the back of the body. Spread a thin layer of glue on the body of the lamb and attach the popcorn. Draw a face on the lamb and attach a bow to the top of the lamb to hang for display.
This craft calls for a yellow dessert plate, orange paper, glue, scissors, yellow feathers and googly eyes. Cut out the legs, feet and nose. Fold the legs so they look like an accordion. Glue the feet to the legs, the legs to the back of the plate, and the nose in the middle of the plate. Glue the yellow feathers on either side of the plate and place the googly eyes.
