Restoration Hardware wood and concrete table look alikeTables are always a big purchase.  I love the rustic look of this Restoration Hardware table.  But… it’s almost $3,000 and this Southern Saver can’t quite wrap her mind around that.

Expensive:

Restoration Hardware Salvaged Wood & X-Based Table: 72″ for $2695 ($125 Shipping)

This table is beautiful with light wood and a table top made of concrete.  I have no doubt that it is well-made and very heavy.  I love the idea of the concrete top, but you get a similar rustic effect with the metal wrapped top from World Market at a much lower price.

Frugal:

World Market Metal Wrapped Braxton Table: 78″ for $599.99 ($100 Shipping)

I realize that some people may prefer the concrete top over the metal wrapped, but I honestly prefer the metal.  I can just imagine how much easier it would be to clean.  I would constantly be worried about red Kool-Aid staining the concrete.  It’s definitely the same look, which is a big plus!
