Pottery Barn Shiny Hammered Flatware Look Alike

Planning some dinner parties this Fall?  You may already be pondering switching out your old silverware.  In my house, spoons mysteriously disappear and I’m left with half of what I started with when I bought the set.  I found some beautiful hammered flatware from Pottery Barn.  It’s chic and rustic at the same time.  Even better:  I found a less expensive version at Target.  Since pieces of flatware mysteriously disappear in my house, I’m okay going with the less fancy Target version.

Expensive:

Pottery Barn Shiny Hammered Flatware ($200 Shipped)

This 20-pc. set is made from 18/10 stainless steel which means that they’ll stay bright for a long time.

Frugal:

Target Threshold Arkita Flatware ($29.99  Store Pickup)

The Target 20-pc. set is made from 18/0 stainless steel.  Aside from that, the only real difference between the two is that the handle of the knife is curved on this set.  I think it adds some interest to the pieces.
