There is a new Zaycon Foods sale on ground beef! You can get 40 lbs of 93/7 ground beef for $3.49 lb. This will not be in all areas, but should be in most areas of the south!
Buying in bulk during sales like this is one of the best ways to save on meat. Ground beef prices are actually surging now, so this is one of the lower prices we will see. You could even buy more than one case if you wanted.
I have ordered this deal before and so have many readers. Everyone has always been very pleased with the meat.
The Meat:
-LFTB Free (no pink slime)
-Have a grass diet which is supplemented by grain after they reach approximately 700 pounds.
-No hormones or antibiotics in the beef and it is 100% grown in the USA.
-No chemicals, additives or water added to meat during processing.
The beef comes in a 40 lb case with 10 lb chubs. This makes it easy to split with another family if you don’t think you’ll be able to finish it all.
When you go to pick this up, be ready with freezer bags! All of their meat comes straight from the processor, so you are getting fresh meat that will need to be individually packaged before freezing. We use a FoodSaver vacuum sealer to freeze the meat. You could even prepare some of it ahead of time for things such as tacos.
