Sad as it is, I think the days are gone where all you needed for back to school shopping was some paper and #2 pencils. Technology is catching up with the school system and we want our kids to have what they need to excel in school.
Tablets are popping up on school supplies lists here and there, but it hurts a little to open up your wallet to buy a tablet for one of your children. We’ve been seeing some great tablet deals on the market, so don’t buy on before you do your research. The nice thing is once you have one, they can be used for all sorts of things in addition to school and hopefully you won’t need to get one again next year.

Today’s Home Depot Deal of the Day is pretty fun! Home Depot has 5 gallon college buckets, 3 pk., for $12 with Free Shipping!
Buckets are inherently useful (and now cool with your college logo), but these buckets would work great for a tailgate game I recently heard about, Polish Horseshoes.
Hang in there with me folks, this looked like a pretty fun game. Here’s what you’d need to get set up:
(1-2) bags of sand
(2) 4-5 ft PVC Pipes
(1) Frisbee
(2) buckets
(2) cups
(4) people
You will put the PCV pipes in the bucket of sand for easy set up. You can go here for instructions on how to set up the game.
Here are the rules of the game better explained than I could do. This game is fun for tailgating or even at a backyard BBQ.
