I’m so excited!! Today’s magazine deal is on my all time favorite magazine, Garden & Gun. You can gt it for $4.49 a year (which is 90% off the cover price) with code SOUTHERNSAVE at checkout.
I heard my husband once describe Garden & Gun as the magazine that Southern Living used to be. It’s filled with great stories and places in the South, places to eat and recipes — but they are all honest reviews and not ones that paid to be placed there. You’ll also be blown away by the photography.
In case you are wondering, you can get up to 2 years at this price per year. You can also use this renew a current subscription or to give as a gift. They have a printable card that you can give to someone to tell them the magazine is coming since many titles take a good 8 weeks to start (that would be Christmas time).
Tables are always a big purchase. I love the rustic look of this Restoration Hardware table. But… it’s almost $3,000 and this Southern Saver can’t quite wrap her mind around that.

This table is beautiful with light wood and a table top made of concrete. I have no doubt that it is well-made and very heavy. I love the idea of the concrete top, but you get a similar rustic effect with the metal wrapped top from World Market at a much lower price.

I realize that some people may prefer the concrete top over the metal wrapped, but I honestly prefer the metal. I can just imagine how much easier it would be to clean. I would constantly be worried about red Kool-Aid staining the concrete. It’s definitely the same look, which is a big plus!

I thought I would take a few minutes before my big FSU game starts tonight to share how we did at Bi-Lo today. I’m quite pleased!
My goal on every trip is to save at least 50-60%, it’s not to leave the store only paying $1. If that were my goal, my family would hate me, the store would despise me and well we would go hungry. I want none of that to happen, so we are on the more moderate side of “extreme couponing”.
This trip included a number of competitor coupons, which is one reason I LOVE Bi-Lo. They take almost every store in town’s coupons, even the drugstores. Today they also took the Aldi $10 off coupon.
I thought I make it easy on you and pull exactly the deals I did from both the Bi-Lo Weekly ad list and the Bi-Lo Unadvertised Deals. Remember you can make just one a shopping list from each list combined, and you should always look at both lists!!

This will easily make this weeks meals of BBQ Pork, Chili, Chicken & Rice, Chicken Noodle Soup, Pork Chops & Mashed Potatoes and cake… lots and lots of cake. Not really, the cake just goes in the stockpile and we are set for the next birthday.
