How are you doing with regular family meal nights?
We recently had NBC come by the house to film and one of the shots they wanted was the entire family sitting down to eat a meal. My girls thought this was so strange since we do that every night, why would they need us to “pretend” to do it on camera. We had a long discussion about how for some families it’s a rare moment but for us it was normal because we made a priority. While we may not eat every meal together, we aim for at least 5 nights a week sitting and having family meals. The best meals…. really do happen at home.

With all of the couponing I do, I see a lot of different products. Some of them are better than others, but the real plus is when I find a super tasty food that my family likes that is made with real food! I know that sounds like a funny sentence, but a lot of food these days are made with ingredients I can’t even pronounce. That’s what I like about Larabar, it’s food made from food with simple real food ingredients.
Larabar was created on the idea that real food should be accessible for everybody. They sent us a sample of their Bites a few months ago and one of my 11-year-olds told me it was “the best thing she’s ever eaten.”
