This is my personal favorite.  Okay, really I like most of them.  “Be Still” is where my heart is right now.  I love my busy life, but I also feel like many days the balls I’m juggling end up lying at my feet.  Lately I’ve been working adding more quiet time and unplanned nights to our routine.

Maybe it sounds bad, but for our family right now we aren’t playing any sports and we have limited kids activities to only things that the entire family does, piano and scouts.  That means that we generally can eat together at night at least 5 nights a week and just spend time playing outside (or inside).

I’ve also taken up reading books again!  Over the past 8 years I have probably only read 4 books or so a year, but lately I am making time to read 1 every week or two.  It’s late at night sometimes, but it’s been a wonderful time of no one interrupting me or needing anything and just enjoying the stillness.
