If you fork out the money for a data plan on your phone, you might as well use it to help save money! There are a handful of apps that give you big discounts on restaurants, boutiques and local shops. My favorite part is you don’t even have to print anything.
To get your discount, check in with one of these apps at any of the locations and enjoy a chunk off your bill.
Scoutmob
The Scoutmob app is only available in certain regions, but coming to more cities. I’ve used it in the Atlanta area and most places give you 50% off of your bill. It’s awesome and not just for restaurants, but other local businesses too.
Four Square Deals
Four Square is a location based check-in app, but you might not realize they offer deals too. Two of the best deals in my area are a Free Appetizer at Outback or Free Chips & Salsa when you check in at Chili’s! To find deals near you, just take a look at the “Specials” tab.
Yelp Offers
Yelp is known for restaurant reviews, but they also have discounts too. They have two types of offers, one for checking in, or you can buy voucher discounts to use. Here’s an example of a restaurant with both types of offers running:
Google Offers
Google offers has instant discounts to local places. When you find a deal you want to use, press the “Use Now” button in the app to enjoy the savings! I found one for a $15 Steak & Lobster Dinner at Carrabbas. This is proof that you can even save on a date night…
