It’s the time of year when everybody is making chili. Our church does a chili cookoff every December, so I’m always on the lookout for amazing chili cookoff recipes. Whether you’re competing or not, though, chili can be a perfect meal to make for company or on a cool winter day. Traditional chili is delicious, but I started pondering all the different types of chili. Throw these ingredients in a crock pot or simmer on the stove, but make sure to make extra for leftovers and freeze to have on hand during the holidays.

The prices listed below are an average price based on what’s on sale this week so you have something to compare to your shopping list to at your local grocery store.

The Great Chili Cookoff Recipes

White Bean Chicken Chili, recipe
