Get your shoe box ready for Frugal Date Friday! We are going to go shopping for items and pack an Operation Christmas Child box.

You can each do a box and make one for a boy and one for a girl. You can use items from your stockpile and grab some additional items to pack the boxes.

Deal to look for:

-Hit the sale or clearance deals first when you go to the store
-Look for FREE or very cheap deals as you are shopping for your family

Things to include in your box:

-Sunglasses
-School Supplies
-Toothpaste & Toothbrushes
-Bar Soap
-Stickers
-Small Toys

There are a few things you will not want to include:

-Any candy that will melt (that means chocolate is out)
-Toys based off of weapons
-Liquids of any kind
-Items that may break or shatter
-Anything used or damaged

You will also want to include $7 per box to cover shipping if you are able. You can learn more about Operation Christmas Child boxes here.

This is a fun date where you are able to do something good for someone else, together!
