I thought we would make it to CVS this week, but so far that hasn’t happened (going for Saturday night overlap ads is always fun though so there is still time). Instead of CVS I went to Target twice and to Bi-Lo. There are some great deals at Target this week, so if you head anywhere at least stop by for some of the quick deals there.
At Target we got 3 bags of dog food, 45 lbs of food total for $9.27! I also grabbed 2 boxes of hair color (that I won’t use) just to get the $3 money maker.
Total Value purchased: $57.95
Total Spent: $16.25
Total Saved: $41.70
Gift Card Back: $10
Never head to Target to get tons of deals… you’ll be very frustrated and spend a ton of time trying to find everything. Running in for the one or two super deals though, can feel like winning the lottery!
Our next trip was to Bi-Lo. I planned on only grabbing a few things to feed a group of folks after church on Sunday but… my plans were cast aside when I realized most of the house brand organic products were on clearance. Many items were 70% off or more. I might have gone a little over board. How do you pass up those prices though on things you will eat? I only grabbed one thing we don’t normally buy, Quinoa, but I’m eager to try it out in a few different salad recipes friends have shared.
Total Value Purchased: $378.41
Total Spent: $98.31
Total Saved: $280.10
We also left with $1.45 in fuelperks which is equal to $29 off a tank of gas!! I am over budget, but am going to blame this one entirely on clearance craziness that set in. We will use everything and for once bought more organic items than ever before.
