This week we went a little over board and shopped at three stores. I knew we were going to the minute I finished the Target ad for this current week. I made it to CVS, Target and Bi-Lo for shopping (we won’t count the other stores we went to just to look for deals but didn’t shop).
First stop was Target. If you have been to take advantage of the $10 off Household cleaning supplies coupon, you still have one more day… this makes for a number of deals on things we all need (toilet paper, trash bags, detergent etc.).
We grabbed 3 boxes of Glad Trashbags and 1 package of Bounty Paper Towels.
Total Value: $50.96
Total Spent: $26.44
Total Saved: $24.52
Also earned $5 back in my SavingStar account from the Glad.
Next was a fast trip to CVS just for diapers. There are other great deals this week, but we already have a ton of free mascara and it pops up all the time so for the sake of time I just went for what we needed. How can an expectant mom pass up 4 packs of Huggies diapers for $1.56??
Total Value: $43.96
Total Spent: $1.56
Total Saved: $42.40
ECB Remaining: $10
Last stop was Bi-Lo. There were a few different deals we could use, plus the great breakfast deal with free milk, free yogurt and $1 orange juice.
Total Value: $186.71
Total Spent: $42.85
Total Saved: $143.86
Also earned $3.50 back from various Ibotta, Checkout 51 and Snap offers.
Totals for the week:
Value Purchased: $281.63
Total Spent: $70.85
Total Saved: $210.78 or 74.8%
While we are over our $50 a week budget, we are actually right on track after a few weeks of not shopping much. Here’s a glimpse at our month-to-date savings from the Savings Tracker.
Those CVS numbers just make me happy…
