Normally each Wednesday I head to Publix & Bi-Lo to look for unadvertised sales. This week I needed to add in a third store since someone who normally helps was away. So we went to three stores for extra sales and added in a very rare trip to Kroger. It’s only a mile from the other two, but I haven’t been there in ages and stay pretty loyal to the other two. This week though with the Digital Coupon deals I couldn’t resist free goldfish crackers, pasta and super cheap All detergent. We didn’t even need detergent but for this price…
Kroger:
Total Purchase Value: $32.45
Total Spent: $9.95
Total Saved: $22.50 or 69% off
Kroger was really a tiny trip. I bought three products, you can see the shopping list for the trip here. The total would have been even less, but my store had the detergent on sale for $3.49 instead of the $2.99 everywhere else. Still can’t pass it up for $1.49 a bottle.
We saved most of our coupons for Bi-Lo where we stocked up on a number of deals. I also bought some items not normally on my list as we prepare for family members to keep our kids for a couple days. My husband and I are going away for our first weekend alone in probably 3 years!! My goal is to leave the house stocked with anything that might possibly be needed so they don’t have to load up 5 kids and attempt to shop.
Bi-Lo
Total Purchase Value: $187.07
Total Spent: $68.20
Total Saved: $118.87 or 64% off
I did grab one item at Publix, you’ll see it at the top of my Bi-Lo list. Anytime pasta is 24¢ I can’t resist. I had 4 coupons, so that was a simple trip. Paid right at $1 and left.
We are over budget this week, but I expect a no-shopping week next week to help make up for it.
