Do you have a Minecraft loving kid in your home? I do, and while in terms of screen time I prefer something like Minecraft to watching endless YouTube videos, sometimes we need to get off screens and do something else. There are tons of ideas all over the Internet, but I’ve narrowed it down into my favorites that are all relatively simple. From coloring pages to no-sew pillows, any kid is sure to find something they’re interesting in trying!
Free Minecraft Activities for Kids
My kids love all the coloring pages on this website, and there is a whole page of dozens and dozens of Minecraft coloring pages.
TD Bricks has tons of great LEGO video, and this one shows you how to make different Minecraft things from bricks you already have.
If you have extra cardboard laying around in any for, you can make a whole army of Minecraft creepers. Use your imagination to make other Minecraft figures!
This one is a little more involved but could be good for a rainy day. Make your own Minecraft Monopoly game using all the printables here!
These use fusible glue to put the pillows together, making them washable and not requiring a sewing machine or hot glue. The possibilities are endless thanks to the square shape of everything in the Minecraft universe.
This site has lots of ideas for things you can make with perler beads, and here are some other patterns. Great for younger kids because of the simplicity!
