The 4th of July is right around the corner! If you’re hosting a party, you may be scrambling to find ideas for DIY party decor.  I collected some super cute and inexpensive ideas.  Many of these projects are ones that your kids can do a lot of the work on and a lot of materials can be found around your house. Plus, you can use reuse them for Memorial Day and the Fourth every year!

Red, White and Blue Paper Flower Centerpiece
This centerpiece is so adorable! All you need is cardstock, a metal pail, foam ball and scissors and hot glue. Add a bow for an extra special touch!

Patriotic BBQ Condiment Station
You can grab almost everything you need for this project at your local dollar store. If you wish to skip the primer stage, you can grab this white metal basket from Michael’s for under $5. Here is a slightly larger option at Walmart.

July Fourth Mason Jar Lights
Wrap mason jars with any printable patriotic templates and use fairy lights or flameless tealight candles to create a fun evening ambiance. If your party isn’t lasting until evening, just stick some fake flowers in the jars instead.

PAINTED BUSHEL BASKETS
These painted bushel baskets are adorable and versatile! If you don’t have any lying around the house, your local Michael’s should have some. You can actually grab this one is on sale now!

DIY STREAMER STAR GARLAND
You literally only need scissors and streamers to make this simple star garland. Pick up some streamers for just $1 at your local Walmart. And grab extra streamers to make a backdrop!

BANDANA BUNTING
Use red, white and blue bandanas to make this bunting and even a cute placemat! Need bandanas? This one has all three colors in triangles all ready for you to cut!

Bandana-Tablecloth-4
BANDANA TABLECLOTH
If you own a sewing machine (and know how to operate it), this bandana tablecloth is an easy project for you! Get a pack of 18 bandanas delivered to you tomorrow!

POPSICLE STICK AMERICAN FLAG CRAFT
Have the kids make these super easy flags with supplies you probably already have on hand, then attach them to ribbon or string to make a garland out of them!

STREAMER HOOPS
This is another fun one for the kiddos! Use dollar store tablecloths for the strips. Eliminate a step by using wide-mouth canning rings instead!

AMERICAN FLAG CANDLE LOG
This a fun project you can go log-hunting for. I highly recommend using flameless votive candles to avoid a fire hazard.
