I think that most of us can agree on the fact that Keurig is a great concept, we just don’t want to invest all of the money to keep the K-Cups in stock. The good news that their are awesome companies out there trying to help us obtain this luxury, without the luxurious price tag! One great company I’ve found is Cross Country Cafe. They sell name brand coffee and tea, but at a fraction of the price you’ll pay in store or at other sites.
When you’re buying from retail, you get a 12 or 18 count box, so it seems like you’re getting an okay deal, but really you’re not. Keurig Authorized Distributors sell 24 packs just like Keurig themselves does (Keurig however is always the highest price). This means that your best bet to get the lowest price is to go through the distributor who will generally have the lowest price on the biggest box.
When you’re shopping around and comparing prices, I think you’ll be even more impressed when you break it down by cup to see how much cheaper the distributors are! I compared the price of the Green Mountain Fair Trade Mountain Blueberry 24 ct…. $12.95 on Cross Country Cafe, and $16.49 straight from Green Mountain Coffee. Either way you want to look at it, CCC is 15¢ cheaper per cup, or $3.54 per box!
From now until November 1st, you’ll all get FREE shipping on orders from Cross Country Cafe with the code SOUTHERNSAVERS.
One other tip: Like the Cross Country Cafe Facebook page for more giveaways and special sales. While you’re there, tell them that Southern Savers sent ya!
