I have a mama pet peeve…
Bringing kids to the nursery at church and saying that “it’s just allergies” just to have my kids sick within the next 24-48 hours. That’s not cool! I have actually learned that more often those mama’s just want it to be allergies but it rarely is. So how do you know whether it is the dreaded common cold or simple allergies?? Fred’s pharmacy has a great resource to help you figure it out.
The big differences to look for are:
How long did it take for symptoms to show up? Did they get congested immediately after playing in the grass or did they come down with symptoms slowly a few days after playing with other kids??
Do they have a fever? Allergies rarely if ever cause fever.
Itchy Watery Eyes? Colds usually do not have symptoms that effect your eyes, but allergies do!
There are other symptoms and ways to tell, so head over and look at their chart to figure out what they have.
After you figure out whether you are dealing with a cold or an allergy, now it’s time to treat it. If you are needing cold or allergy medicine some of the cheapest options in town are at Fred’s Pharmacy. Their house brands will beat the national brands every day, plus they beat the price of many other stores house brands too! They also guarantee them, so their is no reason to not try them out and save a chunk of money!
To give you some savings examples, here are some pictures I took at the Fred’s nearby this weekend:
