Recently I was sent some pasta sauce for a Bertolli Riserva review and I was blown away at how much my family loved it. At some point, you wonder how special pasta sauce can be, but this seriously became my family’s new favorite in one meal.
One of our favorite meals is tortellini with Alfredo sauce. I decided to make the Alfredo sauce as well as the Bertolli Asiago Cheese and Artichokes. My entire family stuck with our original favorite — the Alfredo sauce — but I went with the Bertolli and offered everyone a bite of mine. By the end of the night, everyone went back for seconds, but chose the Bertolli sauce over the Alfredo because they liked it so much.
Coming from someone who isn’t a chef and doesn’t know how to describe food with fluffy words, I loved that this sauce was thick and not runny at all. I didn’t feel like pasta sauce was going to splash off my plate with one step. The sauce stayed where I wanted it… on my pasta and not running all over the plate. The Bertolli Riserva sauce is made with artisanal ingredients like extra-virgin olive oil, imported Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, aged balsamic vinegar and porcini mushrooms!
Try one of the four delicious flavors:
-Marinara with Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese
-Balsamic Vinegar with Caramelized Onions
-Asiago Cheese with Artichokes
-Porcini Mushroom with White Truffle Oil
Another thing I love about Bertolli: They recently donated 500,000 meals to kids in need through No Kid Hungry.
