Are you in need of a weekend away filled with friends? I urge you to check out the Becoming Conference! This is a conference that I co-host every year with Jenn from Balancing Beauty & Bedlam. We invite some of the top DIY Decor, Food, and Lifestlye bloggers to come and give you hands on tips and encouragement. You can learn everything from refinishing furniture to cake decorating, photography, budgeting, couponing, to being more purposeful in your parenting or marriage.
You get to pick what sessions you want to attend, so you can hear a little bit of everything or just be one amazing painter!
Becoming is August 8th and 9th in Asheville NC.
I truly love everything about this conference, it’s one of my favorite weekends of the entire year! One part I love the most… the cost. You can get a weekend away including food and your room for right at $100 if you share a room! That includes dinner Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
The more folks you put in your room the cheaper it gets. You can even get a youth bunk room and have a weekend away for as low as $79. (Jenn & I stay in one of these every year).

Registration is open now for anyone that wants to attend! Though you’ll want to wait till Monday when their office is open.

- You’ll need the name, mailing address, telephone number and email address of everyone staying in your room.
- You will be asked to pay a $50 deposit per person at registration. You are more than welcome to pay the full amount per person, which will speed up check-in that day.
- Local Rate attendees for those who do not need accommodations is $52.20. You still need to register to reserve your ticket. This price includes conference and lunch on Sat.
