If you are working to find a roommate or even to get the money together to join us at Becoming this September 21-22nd, I wanted to let you know there are still spots open! They also now have a way for you to register online with Ridgecrest.
If you aren’t quite sure what this weekend is about, let me share…
The fun starts Friday afternoon or evening (depending on if you join the optional paint your own furniture class). You can check in around 3 and enjoy a few hours taking in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Grab an early dinner (part of the conference cost already) and then join us for the opening keynote at 6pm. After the keynote my favorite drugstore, CVS, is bringing out all the stops for a girls night in! We will get to try out new products, and have a regular old slumber party of nails, hair and more. (There will probably be some cheesecake involved too…)
Saturday is a day packed full of learning, and you take control of just what you want to learn. Pick from workshops on personal finances and coupons, becoming a more focused and purposeful mother, or go creative and learn all about trash to treasure decor, saving money on home projects, painting, photography and even fashion and beauty advice! It’s a fun day, and truly whatever you want it to be. Breakfast and lunch on Saturday are also included in your conference cost, so you can come and know that there is no extra cost of enjoying a weekend away.
Some folks like to stay an extra night at the conference center, which you are welcome to do. The rate for an extra night is $59, so pull up a rocking chair and take in more mountains and more rest before heading home.

Rates will vary based on how many people are in your room, so check out the rates below and start finding a roommate (or roommates)!!

These rates include your room, all meals and the conference!!
If you are local or want to stay off campus, the “local rate” is $52.50. This includes lunch on Saturday, you will be on your own for dinner and breakfast.

- You will need the name, email address of everyone staying in your room.
- You will pay a $50 deposit per person at registration. You are more than welcome to pay the full amount per person, which will speed up check-in that day.
- Local Rate attendees still need to register to reserve your ticket (you can also register online).
**If you do not know all of your roommates yet, you can still reserve a room, just make sure you call back and add your roommates as you know them. Tickets can still sell out though, so try to have everyone on board early!!**

Please know that accommodations vary greatly. We want you to be completely aware of the rooms you are receiving. You may view the choices at the Ridgecrest site here to see all the specifics.
The Royal Gorge Youth rooms are the only accommodations that sleep 7 or 8, and perfect for those that want an incredibly frugal weekend with a bunch of girls. They house 3 sets of bunk beds and one queen bed, so no bells and whistles, but lots of fun with a great porch and rockers.
