In a household of three girls we can never have too many dolls. Most of the dolls we have though are really for my older girls and my 3 year old plays with them since that is the only option.

Recently though Goldberger Toys changed that for us. They sent their new Zip-ity Princess and Sing & Learn doll for us to try out. These are fun dolls just for kids ages 0-4!
They are soft snugly dolls for little ones and then they incorporate learning and skills as your kids grow.

As a parent my favorite part is they are machine washable and they have a lifetime guarantee!!

We were sent two dolls to play with:

The Baby’s first Sing & Learn ABC’s & 123’s doll is perfect for the little one who loves music. When you push the doll’s tummy, she sings her ABC’s and counts from 1-10 to help your child learn letters and numbers through music.

The Zip-ity Princess doll comes with 6 basic learning functions including zip, button, snap, buckle, tie, fasten & reading. This princess helps to teach basic dressing skills, letter and word recognition, motor skills, and develops eye/hand coordination. She also comes dressed in assorted Princess outfits for imaginative fun.

      I would love to give these dollies to my girls–Rosie, age 3 and Paloma, age 2.  Paloma loves babies more than anyone I have ever met.  They make her laugh…

      My 8-month old daughter would absolutely love these dolls.  She already enjoys playing with a doll she received as a gift and her favorite song is the ABC’s.  I know it sounds silly, but if she’s crying or unhappy we just start singing the ABC’s and it brings an instant smile to her face.

      Since my little girl would seem to old for them, I would try to think of someone at Christmas that may not have an opportunity to buy something like this for their children.

      I would give them to my little Eva and her big sister Aimi. Eva loves everything to do with babies. She screams baby when she sees a baby on TV, in public, and on the store shelf. She is only 18 months old and wraps her baby up in a blanket and feeds her a bottle.

      I have two girls and my oldest is just obsessed with being a little mommy. Whether its a stuffed animal or a baby doll she’ll carry it around taking care of its every need. I love the idea of the oe that teaches motor skills by zipping and so forth. My girls would love these.

      I would give these dolls to my two girls.  My oldest is getting ready to turn 4 and would love the Zip-ity Princess doll.  She is all about being a princess and is learning how to tie which would be great.  My youngest is 18 months old and loves to sing her ABC’s and can already count to 3 so this would be perfect for her!

      I would give these to my 1 1/2 year old niece.  She is the youngest of 5 kids, and just like your 3 year old, is often left playing with old hand-me-down toys that are not age appropriate.  She loves dolls already and would love these!

      My 16 month old would be so giddy to receive these dolls for “baby” is her favorite word (aside from “dada:).       Well my children are to old and frankly don’t need anything. Lol however, I have a few children who would cherish these dolls to whom I know and would give them too. I would give the Babies 1st Sing doll to a 1 yr old girl that I had to care for in my home after she was neglected and had some severe & painful issues caused from it. She loves music! And as far as I know she hasn’t even had a 1st babydoll yet! She would love it! And the other one I would have to give to a little girl in my church. I was planning on making a christmas basket for this family anyways. She is 4 and would love it I am sure!

      Even if I don’t get them, give them to children in need! With the holidays near and there are SO many children out there that will not get much and struggle day to day as it is. They are the deserving ones!

      I would love to give them to both of my daughters.  Having two hispanic/caucasion daughters where they hear both english and spanish at home, it would be fun for both of them to have learning dolls to pall around with and copy what the dolls say, since one is now at the parrot stage.

      I would give them to my 15mo old daughter and my 2 yr old son.My daughter loves anything to do with babies and will rock, pat and sing to her babies. My son also loves playing daddy and it’s so sweet seeing him love on the “babies”. He was only 17mo old when his sister was born and he loved holding her and helping take care of her so he has loved babies from early on. I also love the fact that they are learning babies and will help develop their fine motor skills and minds while they play. A great Christmas present for my kids.

      I too have a house of girls. And like you said my youngest who just turned 4 usually just plays with her older sisters dolls.       I would LOVE to give these to my nieces! The older one was born with a hole in her heart, has had several heart surgeries, a stroke, and was later diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome. After her baby brother passed away, her parents adopted a precious little girl from China. This will be our first Christmas with her in our family! I know these precious girls would LOVE these dolls!!;)

      I am 39 years old with no children of my own but I married a man with 2 daughters and a son.  I helped my husband raise his 10 year old son.  Now 8 years later, I have 2 step daughters, a step son (who considers me his only mother), and 4 precious grandchildren. {Not too bad for someone who could not have children of her own}  My two grandaughters, Alonia (2 yrs) and Caylee (1yr), would love these dolls for christmas from their “Pap-paw and Nanna”.

      I would give one of the dolls to my 3 year old daughter, whose 7 year old sister is always trying to take away the dolls she plays with because they are “hers.”  This one would be just for little sister.  And the 2nd doll would be donated to our church to give away to one of the 60 families we will be providing Christmas presents for in our community.

      Jenny, like you, I have two older daughters.  Isabella and Londyn are identical twins and are always doing everything with each other, especially playing with their babies.  I also have another daughter, Finley, almost two who just really gets their leftovers.  These dolls look age appropriate for Finley and would be nice to have some new dolls of her own!

      As a former teacher, and now a stay-at-home mom of a 2 1/2 year old girl, I would love to have the doll with all the functions, such as the zipper, etc.  It’s a toy but also a valuable learning tool.  Kids learn by doing, especially at this age.

They are a one income family doing all they can to raise their children right and some time have to sacrifice things most of us take for granted. That is who I would give the doll to.

      I would give these to my granddaughter whom I have had custody since she was 5 months old.  She was in a sad, overcrowded foster home and has been about 6 months behind on all skills. She is now 2 1/2, has mastered crawling, walking and almost speaking skills.  She has worked hard and loves music, dancing like a princess, and singing. Her birthday is Dec. 23…and then of course there is Christmas.

      These are the kind of dolls I would love to able to give my two granddaughters, unfortuately due to the unemployment rate I will not be able to afford to buy them for the girls. Both of the girls love to sing and dance and they are the joy of my life. I would like to be able to give them back some of the joy and laughter they give to me everyday.

      I would give the dolls to my 15 month old and my 2 year old (she is turning 3 next month).  Knowing the two of them, it would not matter which doll I assigned to who. They would trade back and forth several times a day. They both LOVE LOVE LOVE baby dolls.

      Since I have 2 boys, I would be giving them away. I would give one to my 1 year old niece for Christmas and the other would go to a needy child. Every year we participate in the HOliday Star program through my husband’s company. We get a star with a child’s name on it and buy Christmas presents for him or her.

      I would let my daughter Jaya pick which one she would like to keep. The other one we would donate to the local christian family shelter along with some other new toys we are able to donate thanks to couponing and your site!

      Jaya has been really good at letting toys ago she no longer needs or is too old for. She loves helping the homeless and one day wants to open a restaurant that is to help feed the homeless.

      She also loves to learn and play with dolls. She plays school, house, sometimes she is their mommy, other times she is their sister. She is always coming up with something fun whether it is a tea party, going to a picnic, cooking for her dolls and me or camping out.

      I know having one of these dolls and being able to donate one would make her day! Thank you for the opportunity to be considered.

      Where I work we adopte a family for Christmas and I would give to a family in need. Even if the family my department gets doesn’t get a young child, I work in a hospital that has many departments and I will find a department that has adopted a family with young children.

      My sister in law has a one year old girl who is sharing the majority of her toys with her 3 & 5 year old BROTHERS! So she doesn’t really have girly girl toys to play with all on her own. This would be a wonderful Christmas present for her because it would be a great learning tool and she wouldn’t have to vroom vroom with her brothers cars all day. We try to keep the toys equal so that they can share all the toys, but unfortunately that means sacrificing the frilly, the princessy, and the sweet :) Hopefully with this we can give her something every girl should have, her own dolls, and we’ll get the boys some more cars!!

      every year my best friend and i get together and provide christmas presents for families we find out are in bad times. neither one of us are well off people but we are great bargain shoppers with good hearts. this year though she is having a rough time so i would give one to her for her 2 year old daughter, shes helped so many in so many ways and id just like to pay it forward. the other doll would go to another family i might see was in need and if i didnt hear of one we have a homeless shelter full of kids that we donate often to.

      I would send these dolls to Afghanistan where my son is serving in the military so that they could give them to the afghan children who aren’t as fortunate as american children are in our country. While our children play with toys, those children play with pens, rocks, wood and anything else they are given. A child is a child no matter what country your from and all children deserve toys.

      My daughter loves dolls, she calls them her babies.  A doll that can help her learn would be great.  I’m sure she would be just crazy in love with them.

      I would give these dolls to my sweet princess who just turned 2 and loves babies and learning.  She has a baby brother who is 2 months old and she loves to help take care of him and teach him new things.  Yesterday I overheard her teaching him how to count.  She’s such an amazing little girl and a sweet blessing to our family. We don’t have money for toys like this, most of hers are second-hand.  And being a very independent middle child she often gets overlooked when it comes to presents so I would love to give her this special gift.  I know she would absolutely love them!

      Because I have learned to save so much through coupons I have recently begun to sponser a family in need.  The father has recently lost his job and they are really struggling.  They have three girls 4 and under.  I am a single mom of three kids and because of this website I have learned to save huge amounts off of my food budget.  I am using this money to help another family in need.  I suspect these girls will have a very limited Christmas and would love to see them have these adorable dolls in a time when other gifts may be out of the question.

      Well, I am a single mom to three daughters so I have no doubts that one of mine could put that “lifetime warranty” to the test with love. Some of the babies and stuffed animals here rival the velveteen rabbit- they’ve been loved bare!

      I also work full time as a firefighter and paramedic, and we give things like this to children who may need a little extra security during whatever emergency brought us to them, so if I win a set it would certainly go to good use!

It’s always nice to see the look on the children’s faces when there christmas  comes a few days early.  I like that these dolls the child learn and play.

      I live in Orange Park, FL and recently a man killed his ex-wife leaving their four daughters parentless. The oldest which is 18 was granted by the state to care for her three younger sisters. The littlest one is 2 going on 3. My store has “adopted” this family for Christmas.       Our church has an Angel Wish tree everyyear for needy children in the Johnston, SC area. I am a grandmother and enjoy so much in seeing these needy children receive gifts at this special time of year.       I have 3 girls that are 4,2,and my 11 month old turns 1 in November. We would give them the dolls for Christmas. We have teddy bears but are trying to add dolls when we can but they can be expensive. I home school my 4 year old and the princess doll would be great for her. My 2 year old and 11 month old love music so they would love the dolls as well.

      I’d probably keep the princess doll for my little girls (3 yr old and newborn) as those skills are ones all my children have taken a while to learn.  The ABC doll would probably be given to someone else.  We try to do a “sub for Santa” every year so that’s a definite possibility.  Don’t know yet who we’ll be doing this year though.  :)

      My daughter is three and she has Down Syndrome.  Due to her developmental delays, we always try to incorporate learning into playtime (or as often as we can).  She’s a total girly girl and loves to feed her babies, cart them around in the baby stroller or baby grocery cart, and having educational dolls would be really perfect.  Thanks!

      Hi,

      I would be honored to be selected to have a Zip-ity Princess doll.  My 14 month old could use this doll.  It seems to be a good toy for her to manipulate and develop her motor skills.  She keeps trying to get her brother’s transformers.  She’s attracted to them but is too young and could even choke on the pieces.  So she’s left frustrated a lot of times.  This doll could be the answer. 

      The other doll (if I win both), I would donate to a family I know in Ecuador.  They have a much lower standard of living and don’t have the means to provide toys for their kids.  The little that I have I pass on to this lovely family.  I know they would be very appreciative and the doll would be passed on from generation to generation.

      My niece is a foster care provider and is always providing care for children who have been abused physically or mentally.  When these children come they are usually very behind develpmentally.  She spends countless hours trying to bring them to the stage they need to be.  These dolls would be a GREAT assett her.  At this time she has 2 boys and a girl all needing help!!!!

      I am so excited about these dolls! My 21 month old is now getting into stuffed animals and dolls. In fact, whenever we leave the house, she has to bring: Dora, Elmo, and bunny with her. I am a teacher and love the idea of a learning doll. Nothing she has that is portable can teach those concepts. A doll that serves the dual purpose of being a snuggly buddy as well as a learning tool is awesome!       I would love to win these dolls!  One would go in our Operation Christmas Shoebox for
      a little girl. Can you imagine the joy this will bring a little girl that probably has never received a Christmas present before. The many hours of loving and cuddling it will get! The other I would give to my youngest granddaughter.She just turned one and really loves anything musical.  I am glad to see dolls designed for the younger girls.  Too many have to play with older sister’s dolls that are not safe or appropriate.  Thank you for telling us about them.

      I would give these dolls to a family that I know that is struggling just to pay thier bills.  Christmas is coming and normally they are looking on craig’s list for free used toys. My children are too old for these toys, but as a mom, I know how tough it can be to want to give your child a good christmas on a very limited income.  Thank you for considering me.

      We just had a family of 8! (6 children) lose their house to a fire in a neighboring town.  I would give these dolls to the youngest child, a two year old little girl!  By the way thank you SS for allowing me to have a great stockpile of toys, that I have all ready given to this family in addition to some clothes my daughter has outgrown!!!

      I would give these dolls to my 3 year old niece! She is so smart and loves to learn. My mother-in-law plays memory with her several times a week to help her get ready for pre-school. I live in Florida and her family lives in Indiana so I don’t get to see her very often. I’m going home for 2 weeks at Christmas and these dolls would be the perfect gift! :)

      If I was to win these dolls I would give one of them to my 2 year old daughter Sophia, she LOVES to dress herself so the princess doll would work great for her, the other one I would donate to operation Christmas house. Being a military wife I knw all the hardships that military families have to go through and even though many people don’t think so, a lot of military families struggle a lot financially and may not be able to provide christmas presents to their children I would donate the 2nd doll to operation Christmas house to help ensure that no child goes without a Christmas preset this year!!!

      After a hard struggle of trying to get pregnant my brother and sister-in-law have finally been able to have a baby. I would give one of the dolls to them and the other doll would go to my sister for her future children, seeing as she also cannot conceive a child and is really trying to adopt, I think any child brought in should be showered with love and gifts and that’s what I would do.

      I would give them to my girls for Christmas. They are ages 1 and 3 and both really love learning. I think the Zip-ity Princess would be perfect for the 3yr old as she is starting to reach the phase where she wants to dress herself and is still learning to manuever buttons and zippers. This could help her practice without undoing the 10 minutes it took me to get her dressed (while she is trying to “help”) :)

      I have two daughters, 13 months and 3 weeks!  This would be both of their first “real” dolls.  The zippity princess doll reminds me of one I had as a child that taught me how to button and zip clothing.  Very nostalgic!  I think my girls would love these and well, mommy too!

      My little girl Lily loves playing mommy (she is 3). She can never have too many dolls and she feeds them, puts them to bed by covering them up with blankets, pushes them in her shopping cart around the house and is very loving and motherly to them. It is soo cute to watch!!!

      My niece is a foster parent has boys and girls who have been abused mentally and physically are usually developmentally behind children of the same age.  She works with them countless hours trying to get them to the level they need to be.  These children have been through a lot and these dolls would help them caught up in a fun way.  It would be GREAT to give to her for Christmas!!!!

      My sister just had her baby girl in September. She was born with a condition called gastroschisis; her intestines were on the outside of her body. She has been an awesome little survivor. Her colon was turned, and her lung collapsed, but after only 3 weeks (most gastroschisis babies are at least 6 weeks) she was out of the hospital. Her father is also serving in Afghanistan, so she has all kinds of things not going her way. But she is an awesome little baby and I would love to give it to her.

We spend a lot of time in and out of the doctors and hospital environment and this would be a great comfort to her as well as an instrument to her learning.       My youngest turns 3 next month, so i would give them to her for her birthday.  We have an older girl too, so like you Jenny, our youngest plays with all the hand me downs from big sister, so it would be so nice to give her dolls of her own that are more age appropriate!

      I would like to be able to give these dolls to a coworkers daughters. He is a member of the national Guard and deployed to Iraq last month. He has 4 kids 2 boys and 2 girls. His wife is a stay at home Mom. His kids will very sad without him this Christmas so I am doing everything I can to make it brighter. Thanks for everything you post

      These dolls would be put into good use at our home we have a 3 year old girl, a 2year old boy and more on the way so we would be able to use these dolls for a long time. We love to find toys that are both educational and fun to play, and with the added bonus of music this toys sounds like a perfect fit because we are also a major music family!       I am a preschool teach for the Ones and Twos. We have a few dolls for the girls to play with but they just do not seem interested. I would love a set of these dolls for them to play with. Based on the information I have found they are not only fun but a great learning tool as well.

      I would give these dolls to the 2 little girls I babysit. I babysit for a young mother who is having a hard time right now getting back on her feet. She has two small girls ages one and two who have only a small clothes basket of toys to play with.       My neice, who is living away from her mom. Although she is in her thirty’s, she live in an ark home (assisted living for the mentally challenged. Teresa was born completely healthy and at the age of one she became very ill. Due to the waiting list, she is 3 states away from her mom, with no end in sight to get her closer. This would be a wonderful surprise for her. Although she could only have the one the left, I am sure there is another young lady at her home that would love the surprise.
