If you have been on Southern Savers for any time you have learned two things about me, first I love food and second that means that I am going to be a life long journey of watching my weight. I am always up for learning about new options to help, and was asked to share with you guys the alli system. We have a few family friends that have lost a ton of weight using alli so I know first hand it works!
First, the alli pill is not just a quick weight loss fix. Alli is a complete weightloss plan that combines the pill, better eating habits, exercise, and support. For every 2 pounds you work to lose, alli helps you lose one more pound. The pill blocks about 25% of the fat you eat. If you’ve ever thought about trying out alli for yourself, now is a good time to start! You can go to their alli page on Walmart.com to clip your $5 coupon (the coupon is good at any store).
To help you get even more motivated in your weightloss journey, be sure to check out the FREE calorie counter app, watch testimonials, and start your own personal alli plan.
Once you’ve purchased alli, you can activate your free myalliplan membership and access helpful online tools and features, including:
- the alli Overview, a 10-day program with simple and focused steps to guide you through your first week of myalliplan
- your personal myalliplan home page, where you can chart your progress, check out the latest steps, meal plans, and more

I’d love to have the personal plan/tracker feature. Since not everyone’s body is the same it’d be great to work with a program built for me. I’m 35 and diabetic. I’d love nothing more than to lose enough weight to get off my meds. And who doesn’t need to track progress? That’s the best part!

I had a baby a year ago and lost the weight pretty quickly. This summer, however, I have put a lot of it back on due to taking more care of my new little one than myself. While I know she is important, I have to take care of myself first. I would love the recipes to help me know how to cook in a heathy manner, but it would also be great to know what to eat when, on the rare occasion, that we go out to eat.

I better go for the starter kit because it’s going to take something other than my own willpower to get me going!
I think the starter kit and the added incentive of helping me lose a little extra weight quickly while I work would be the best. I tend to get defeated when I don’t see results.

Though I wouldn’t mind using the calorie counter and getting a gift card to Walmart, I would like to share a word of caution. I used to work at a Gastroenterologist’s office and we had many patients that came in complaining of leaking stool after starting Alli. Not saying that I still haven’t been tempted to try it, but cannot afford to have that uncontrollable symptom. Otherwise, some of the patients did loose weight (not all of them). Good luck with your weight loss journey to those of you that try this!
The alli app looks really cool. But, I don’t have a smart phone so I would probably benifit from the online journal the most. Thanks!

I have lost 55 pounds on alli over a period of 18 months and I have a ways to go – probably 40 more pounds. I have not purchased any more because of my budget. All of the resourses are helpful but the home page would be something that I could get really excited about. I am in this for the long haul – making alli, watching calories from fat, exercising, watching calories. I would love to win the gift certificate and buy MORE ALLI so I can move on to my next goal.
