      My mom is FINALLY buying herself her dream vacation home. It’s just a little two bedroom cabin in the mountains, but she’s been talking about it for as long as I can remember.       Everytime my husband washes the dishes he breaks a plate. We buy walmart sets and they never last long. A few gorgeous bowls could use some replacing in my kitchen.

      We really need some new non stick pans! Hubby didn't listen to me two years ago when we got married and I told him not to use metal utensils on them and now they're all scratched up and not very non stick anymore!

      The item that needs replacing most in my kitchen is the oven! It is off by about 50 degrees but it flucuates up and down so you never know what temp to set the oven on! Needless to say I have overcooked and undercooked my things!

      My paper towel rack. It seems trivial but I got mine from Pfaltzgraff back in 2003, it's the kind with the three little drawers. It'f my favorite pattern, Summer Breeze. It's taken a bit of a beating after all these years.

      I need a new hand held mixer. I let my 4 year old lick one of the mixers one day and I'm guessing he threw it in the trash instead of the sink! Mixing up cake batter isn't as easy with just one mixer thing!

      Regular ole' plates and bowls.  My now 8 year old has dropped (and broken) every one of the Filigree dishes and bowls that I got as wedding presents 10 years ago.  It's awful, but I'm to cheap now to buy some more 'good dishes'.  Oh how I mess eating off good dinnerware!  :)

      My everyday dishes are Pfatlzgraff, so they are WONDERFUL and have served us well for nearly 15 years.  I would love to update it, but what I most need is storage containers and eating utensils.  With 5 people all taking their lunches, my forks and spoons always seem to go missing… meanwhile everyone claims innocence lol!

      What most needs replacement in our kitchen are the plates. We have several that are chipped or paint is off. We've boxed up most of the ones we don't want for donation, so it would be nice to have a new set.

      I would love to have a new set of dishes.  I'm new to this whole couponing thing, but since my husband was laid off in March, I have had to complete change my outlook on spending.  As I told one of my friends on facebook, the “thrill” that I used to get from online shopping or mall spending, I now get from spending 25 cents on a tube of toothpaste.  It is such a thrill.  Because both of my husbands parents' have passed, we now live in the house he grew up in.  I would love to have a new set of dishes to enjoy in this house.

      I inherited a beautiful set of Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne dishes from my grandmother. She was a big entertainer, so I have lots of the fun extras, like the deviled egg platter. Unfortunately, out of the everyday stuff, we only have 3 small plates and 1 cereal bowl left (I have 4 kids, and the price for them helping with the dishes is a broken dish or two every now and then–totally worth it, though). So, I need to replace the basics…cereal bowls and small plates.

      When we were moving about a year ago I decided when we got to our new place I would replace our plates and bowls. A year later and we are still eating off of paper or plastic plates and enjoying our ice cream or soup in kid sized bowls.

      After being married for 15 years, I think one should get another shower :).  Many of my wedding items are worn and/or replaced by things with far less charm.  For example, our large utensil drawers were too full (after a move) and my husband took a plastic pitcher and put it on the counter for overflow!  I must rectify that.  Also, after moving, I would love some new color and style to brighten up the kitchen!

      I use hillshire farms plastic containers and a few ziploc containers stained with spaghetti sauce and water marks from the dishawasher, so i would replace those totally! And I need a good container for salad dressing to bring to work and back! The last two i had my c-worker through them out when cleaning the fridge at my husbands place of work. Oh well!

      As trivial as it may seem, we are in desperate need of new pizza cutters. My husband tends to throw out the pizza boxes without checking them first, and apparently threw out a couple of pizza cutters. One of them being my favorite! We haven't replaced them, and I have to have more than 2 on hand because I use them for everything. I cut my children's food up with them daily. A grilled cheese sandwich (or any sandwich/toast) that needs “de-crusting” or any food that needs to be cut into bites quickly. I love my pizza cutters!

      DISHES!!  I bought this super cute set of dishes a while ago and didn't think of how useful they would be.  I love the design so I bought – now i have buyers remorse because they are too big and bulky for everyday use.  They are very heavy and make it difficult for the kids to help with putting them in the cabinets :) so I don't get much help with the dishes.  Besides they seem to chip easily and at this point I think most of them all have chips in them… Need to think my next dish purchase through much more clearly!

      Two months ago, I would have said dishes, but for our 31st. wedding anniversary, I ordered two sets of Lido Beach.  Love 'em!  Our “original” dinnerware is the Yorktowne pattern.

      I need Grown up dishes, Raising 7 children my whole kitchen is mis-matched, and has been for years.       I would use it for a matching set of everyday dishes.  After such heavy use, I am down to 3 plates that have chips.  So I always have to bring out the china even when I am doing a casual get together, which is a pain because they have to be washed by hand.  :)

      My dinnerware!! I have had the Pfaltzgraff Juniper pattern for 15 years now and it has served me well.  However after everday use with 3 kids, it is time to replace it and that pattern is retired.  I love the quality, so am looking for a new pattern, but it's hard to decide.

      I am having to replace bakeware and serving dishes due to my daughter moving to college and into an apartment.  She is cleaning out my cabinets, so it would be nice to have new replacement items for me:)  Also, my son cleaned me out 2 years ago when he moved in to an apartment.  So mom gets the leftovers.  But that is ok, thats what moms do.

      I love Pfaltzgraff.  I replaced my Pfaltzgraff kitchen dishes this past Christmas after over 15 years.  Got Better Home and Gardens dishes and they are awful.  In 6 months, at least 4 have broken in half and another 4 are all chipped.  I need to get back to Pfaltzgraff!

      My family has always used Pfaltzgraff since I can remember and I'm 44 years old now!  My mom had the mustard yellow and brown set and a baby blue set with a white flower.  I got the Tea Rose set when I married and added a million pieces to it from the outlets in PA where my husband's family lived.  So I would pick up tons of that on trips.  I also have a few of the Heritage Christmas pattern.  My main set for the past 1 years is now a discontinued pattern called Terrace Plum!   I LOVE my Terrace Plum set but it's getting a bit chipped up ( kids have dropped a bunch of mugs and bowls over the years too!) from every day use for 12 years! I wish they would crank out some more of this pattern just for me! :(   Food looks AMAZINGLY good on a purple plate!

      Our plates and bowls. They are clear class (cheap ones from walmart) that my husband had from before we were married which have chips on almost all of them.       I have been a fan of Pfaltzgraff since before I married, 42 years ago.  The Village pattern in brown and cream was my choice of dinnerware.  Since retirement we have gone to lighter and smaller dishes, but I still love that dinnerware!  My bakeware needs help!  It is a pitiful conglomeration of mismatched and overworked pans. I would love to replace them and the giftcard would certainly help. Thank  you for your consideration.

      Honestly, it's my daily dinner & salad plates.  I am on my second child and in an effort to make my 6 year old feel like a 'big girl' a few years ago I got these transparent dining plates from Target with matching drinkware.  Funny how I have long gotten rid of the drinkware but have held on to the plates.  I'm embarrased for guests to see them, but my husband and I continue to use them and now with a 10 month old in the house I figured I would just keep them so he can feel like a 'big boy' when it's his turn :-)

      In 1976 I got received a tax refund check for about $80.  I was engaged to be married, so invested that money in Pfaltzgraff dishes (I believe they were called Yorktown) — a Blue print on grey dish.  Today I am STILL using that set — 35 years later!!! A credit to Pfaltzgraff — I don't mind the dishes but I sure could use some new silverware ( and I don't mean literally “silver” — just knives forks and spoons that match!)

      I am in dire need of a new canister set.  The one I use now is Tupperware and it has rved me well for 30 years.  Recently, due to RA and OA I have had to put many items out on the counter top so I can reach them easier, needless to say the Tupperwareclear square canisters are not only unattractive but I am hving more and more trouble getting the lids off.  I would love a nice canister set that is large enough to hold a 5 lb. bag of flour, and a 5 lb. bag of sugar so that I do not have to lift the heavy bags and refill so often.  I have priced canister sets but with so many other bills right now I just can not justify the cost…so I continue to struggle with the Tupperware.  I would love to be considered for this -away.  Thanks, Kathy

      Well, I really need to replace my oven, the big eye doesn't work! But as far as stuff to eat with, I guess I need drinking glasses. We drink out of anything, jars, plastic Taco Bell cups, you name it, it's gotten ridiculous. I need a nice, new set of glassware so we would all match for a change.

      I haven't heard of Pfaltzgraff. But when it comes to needing dishes in the kitchen we could use everything. Right now everything we have is all hand me downs from different family members. They all work but nothing matches!

      We bought a “fixer-upper” house as a second home so it's been a work in progress fixing up little things here and there; however, dishes and such were not on the priority list.  We now are allowing a family member to stay there who was at rock bottom and had no where to go.  If I were to win the Pfaltzgraff giftcard, I would not use it to replace, but use it to put some things in the kitchen.  Thanks!

      I love the Patio Garden pattern!  I've had the Filigree and Winterberry patterns for 15 years.  Bowls are the most often used dish in our house, and we are down to 2 bowls!!!  I could really use a gift card to replace my Filigree bowls or start a collection of Patio Garden.

      we are trying to phase out plastic food storage and service in our house. All plastics leach chemicals when exposed to microwaves and dishwasher heat. It's been a bit of a challenge with a 5-year-old and 2-year-old (from economic and practicality standpoints) but we've made baby steps with stainless bento boxes and thermoses for our meals on the go and a few pyrex bowls for storage of leftovers.  Would love to load up on the enamel on steel bowls with lids!

      I really need to replace the cereal bowls that didn't survive 3 kids and learning to wash dishes.   We chose Pfaltzgraff Filigree when we got married, and most has survived except those bowls.  I really like that it coordinates with the Winterberry and Grapevine patterns.

      Having been married (to the same man!) for over 40 years, and raising 3 wonderful children, I am STILL using the same “Tupperware” storage containers that I received as wedding presents.  (Yes, I still have the original lids!)  Over the years, I've added a few “Cool Whip” and “margarine” bowls.  Now that I have 5 grandchildren and I am newly retired, I could REALLY use some new storage bowls.  Maybe my kids wouldn't laugh at my antique storage bowls filled with their “left over” mom cooked meals!!  Of course, I would have to hold a grandchild hostage until the new container was returned!!

      I have several small appliances that are on their last legs . . . the coffee maker (can't do without that, now, can we?), the toaster (it sets off the smoke alarm almost every morning, so if the coffee maker is on the fritz, the smoke alarm will wake me up instantly!), and the crock pot . . . so I could really make good use of a gift card!!!

      Where do I begin with what needs to be replaced in the kitchen . . . Probably the dishes.  We're using a mixed set that's made up of of three Corelle dinner plates (white w/green flowers) that my parents used in their motor home in the 70s (amazing how long these things last), 2 dessert plates from a “French cheese” appetizer set, and one saucer and one slightly cracked bowl from a non-descript white set of cheap dishes.  Yes – a new, set of dishes would be wonderful!

      My husband of two years and I had a very small (and rushed!) wedding.  While our special day was full of love and wonderful memories, the one thing I wished we had done was get a chance to register for all of the cool kitchen stuff!  Most everything we have is a hand-me-down…some of it is really cool and vintage, while other things…like our mixer…is a real pain to use.  (Remember the hand crank kind?!!  Oh yes. :)  One of the things I've always wanted is a set of our own dishes.  You know, an entire matching set.  My parents have been married for 41 years and they still have (and occasionally use) the set of dishes they picked out and were given at their wedding.  Not only do I aspire to have a relationship that lasts that long, but a beautiful set of matching dishes would be great too! :)

      I am currently living with my fiance', and he still has all of his “bachelor” kitchen stuff. Barely any of it matches, and he does not/did not have many of the kitchen staples that I grew up with (like a whisk, rubber spatula, or little condiment cups). I have been buying bits and pieces over the past few years, but due to my budget I cannot buy as much as I would like to. A little boost would help immensely.

      I need need a new dinnerware set, including plates, bowls, etc.  Right before we moved to the Pensacola area, one of the shelves in our cupboard broke and our dishes tumbled down, breaking several of them.  We try to people for dinners on a regular occasion and if we have more than 5-6 seated, it gets interesting trying to mix and match what's left. :)

      With 4 boys 3 of whom are teens…I lose lots of dishware and silverware..They either throw them away not thinking/not caring or take a tupperware bowl with spoon to work full of leftovers and I never see them again….I need replacements!!! LOL..THis would be Awesome!!!

      I really need some new bowls. I have old school (wont name the brand) plastic bowls used to warm food in the microwave that look rediculous. My daughter is getting married this month and registered at Belk and they carry that brand, I saw it and showed her and she fell in love with the design. She has a lo of it now and I am so jealous but I'm glad she was able to get some of the items. It's very pretty!

      Before I had my child, I had two complete Pfaltzgraff Midnight Sun dish sets and a disposable income. I could serve a dinner party of 8!!! While I bought plastic plates, cups and bowls for my child, there was a learning curve before that. I'm down to 3 cereal bowls, 5 salad plates, 7 dinner plates and 3 saucers. Ho hum. But, I LOVE my Midnight Sun dishes! I'd love to replace the missing ones. Next, I'll work on the silverware that my child's school suggested I send with her lunch (to be more green, instead of using plastic). Um, yeah. I now have a mismatched collection of other people's silverware (that's not nearly as nice). Silverware amnesty day, at my suggestion, never came about. :( Life goes on.

      We no longer have a complete set of anything…our dishes are melamine and have bubble from the microwave (probably not too safe).  We are in the middle of remodeling our kitchen and I have looked at a couple of PFaltzgraff dish sets that I am interested in.  Basically, it all needs to go…right down to my yellow/gold tupperware bowl that was my grandmothers and is now peeling on the inside not to mention the spaghetti stains.

      I am moving in August to begin my Masters of Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and I absolutely LOVE to cook! Unfortunately, the only knife that I have is a small 3-4inch long knife that i purchased from wal-mart several years ago. I would LOVE to have a set of knives, but know that starting school will be a financial burden that probably won't warrant this kind of purchase from a great place like Pfaltzgraff.       I had a BBQ 4th of July and while getting ready in the kitchen I realized I do not have anything for serving a group of people that matches! It was horriable, I hope I am the only one who noticed that all my platters and bowls were all different colors and designs.       With 3 kids ages 12, 9, 3, we are in desperate need of glass ware.  The glass ware we are using now isn't what you could call glass ware.  They are plastic cups that we have accumulated from restuarants.  You know the kind, the ones that comes with a lid and a straw. Yes, even us adults are using them.  We do have nicer plastic cups for when company comes over or I just get disposable cups—not to eco friendly I know.

      we need new pots and pans.  we received a stainless set for our wedding.  well, i just can't figure out how to cook with them.  i can't tell how many embarrassing meals i have served.  the pans are hard to figure out.  it takes forever for them to get hot, then they do and look out your burning your dish.  i have one small anodized cooking pan i use for everything.  i sometimes question how i get all the ingredients in that little pan! our bakeware also looks pretty rough.  i would be humiliated for anyone to see it!

       I use to visit the Pfaltzgraff store in Heneretta, NY all the time.  I could allways find someting there, that  would make wonderful gifts for Christmas, ect..   That is one store that I've really missed it since its gone out of business here.

      My storage bowls def. need replacing. They are stained, or have cracks or have missing lids. We use them for everything as we use all leftovers for something. We just made homemade Sorbet out of our watermelon, blueberries and strawberries and I had to freeze it in butter containers! lol

      I would love a “Cayman Island makeover” in my kitchen this summer! I would love to replace my boring plain white dishes and old plastic every day kid dishes. The plastic kids dishes are so old they keep cracking in the dishwasher. I would love to throw them out and replace these with some new island style Caymen dishes or the Cayman melamine indoor/outdoor dishes.

      Unlike many that have commented, I do not have dishes from when I got married, because I am single. A lot of my things are hand – me – downs and yard sale items.  I do have pfaltzgraph dishes and love their classic style.  I would use this to buy coffee mugs to match my dishes–I use coffee cups as ice cream bowls (controls protion size) and I'm dirtying up the 4 I have pretty quickly these days.  Thanks for offering this contest.

      I have collected Pfaltzgraph (Heirloom not made any more)  since I was sixteen and started my “hope chest”.  I think I've been through about six patterns since then, but keep coming back to Pfaltzgraph because of their distinct style.  I am slowly working on a complete set of Winterberry to use at the holidays.

      I need new everyday dishes, seems as if as the family has grown and moved out – my dishes have disappeared.  Some went with the kids but most likely they have broken over the years and we just haven't replaced anything.  It didn't seem to matter until kids started coming back with their kids and now there isn't enough to go around.  I am tired of using plastic :(

      We could use more plates. For 5 years now since we got married we have each had a few plates from several different sets and to have matching plates would be great. If we have company over and have to use plates we try and use paper because nothing matches in our house.

      We originally had a full Phaltzgraph set, but after 5 military moves, our “set” has shrunk down considerably! I would definitely use the gift card to get replacement plates and bowls in the original cappuccino pattern (that I STILL love!)

      Our Pfaltzgraff dishes have served us well for the last 15 years; however, some pieces have been broken or chipped over the years due to normal wear and tear.  I'm happy to say we eat together as a family and we enjoy using our dinnerware.  It would be nice to set the table with something new!

      A new set of dinnerware!  I'm still using the Yorktowne set I got for our wedding,  30 years ago, crazy, but they have such sentimental value.  We so enjoyed touring the Pfaltzgraph plant in York, PA.  The old set will have to be placed in our corner cupboard whenever I replace it.
