Yesterday we launched a whole new way to see your grocery lists. Well, once you are looking at your list it doesn’t feel different at all, but believe me it is! We’ve taken and put all the lists for same store together on one page.
Now can see all the deals in the weekly ad and then click to the next tab and see the deals in the unadvertised list, extra flyers etc. It’s smart too… so you can keep checking boxes across all the lists and it will remember that and then add them all to your shopping list together!!
On mobile click the title with the black arrow
and the other lists will drop down.
Never again will you have to hunt for extra flyers, or dig to see the unadvertised deals lists. Hopefully for new users this also takes away some of the work of figuring out where things are. If you want to share with friends the same url will always take them to the current deals!
There is one part of this that will be a change for some of you. Lists will no longer show up in an RSS feed reader when they go live. I’m keeping the same schedule for what day a list goes up, so just remember that part and head to the site to see your list. You’ll actually find the lists up earlier than before since it’s a lot less work for me (I just push a button when they are ready to go live)!
One other fun part of this new system – lists will now be updated throughout the day. As we find a new coupon, a new deal or even an error, the list will constantly update as I make changes to it in our backend. I’m trying to use a section in the list called “New Deals” so you can catch those easier.
If you are worried about missing a deal when a lists goes up, you can sign up for item alerts. You’ll get an email anytime a specific item you want to know about goes on sale at store in your area. Make sure to update your profile page so we know what stores you care about. You can add all your item alerts on the same page.
My goal is always to make saving money as easy as possible, so hopefully this change helps do that! I’m always up for suggestions of future changes/additions so please let me know your thoughts and ideas.
