Attention Rite Aid shoppers:

Don’t miss the chance to get your Rite Aid gold status even faster in the month of September.  Head over and register your card and you’ll earn 3 points on every $1 spent (rather than 1 point) for the entire month of September.

What are these points?
Rite Aid has two programs attached their Wellness+ Card.  The normal +UP reward that gives you a reward off your next purchase when you buy certain items and the Wellness+ Points.  You get points with every purchase all year and earn different levels of saving from them.

Earn 250 points = Bronze
Get 10% off any regular priced items for a year

Earn 500 points = Silver
Get Free Reward (magazine subscription, cholesterol test etc.)
Still have 10% off earned at Bronze

Earn 1000 points = Gold
Get 20% off any regular priced items for a year

You earn points for dollars spent on any items except the usual tobacco, stamps, etc.  Keep in mind that any Rite Aid store coupons and rewards used do reduce the points earned in a transaction.  You also earn 25 points for every prescription filled (for non-government run health insurances).

Example: If you buy $40 in products, use $15 in manufacturer coupons and $12 in store coupons and rewards.  Total spent was $13, but you’ll earn 28 points (the manufacturer coupons don’t take away points) For the month of September this would earn 84 points!

Need an idea of what to buy this week?  Here’s my plan…

Buy:
(2) Pantene Styler or Treatment products, $3.33 ea.
(1) Tide Detergent, 50 oz, $5.94
(2) Pampers Cruisers Diapers, jumbo pk., B1G1 50% off at $12.94
Subtotal: $32.01
Use:
(2) -$2 off Pantene styler or treatment item PG 8/31
-$1 off Tide Detergent, Rite Aid Load2Card eCoupon
(2) -$2 off Pampers Cruisers diapers, excl trial/travel, (zip 77477) printable
Total Due: $23.01

Get Back: $10 +UP Reward
(makes it $2.60 each)

Because the Rite Aid eCoupons are really manufacturer coupons, you’ll also earn 96 points from this transaction!

Bring on the gold status!
