Many stores started releasing their Black Friday deals over the last week! The good news for us is that means we can start planning our deals out early.
While there is a lot of preparation we can do in advance, it’s also nice to have some mobile apps and tools at the ready for when we are standing in line waiting for the stores to open, or want to do a quick comparison shop to see if a price is good or not. You can even read reviews on some of them so you’ll know if you are really getting a good buy!
Amazon’s Price Check App – FREE
Most of us know that Amazon’s typical prices tend to beat out a lot of other stores. Comparing the price of a large brand name item is always a good starting point! Scan, type, take a picture of or say the name of any item and it will instantly pull up the Amazon prices.
Red Laser App- FREE
If you want to compare items across local stores, you can also download the Red Laser app. This is great for price matching other big box stores instead of driving all over town! Scan anything and it will show you the price on that item at nearby retailers.
Google Shopper – FREE
For online price comparisons, Google shopper is probably the best. They search hundreds of retailers and even compare prices based on the cost of shipping, which is helpful when you are trying to get the best overall deal. This app has a ton of info, which can make it both helpful and a little cumbersome to use when you are in a hurry.
Decide Mobile App – FREE
This app tracks the prices of popular items over time and helps give you an idea of whether it’s a good time to buy or wait. The free version has quite a few limitations, but it’s a good quick glance at whether a deal is exciting or not.
Are there any other tools you use to make sure you are getting the best price on Black Friday?
