In our house, you can find a maze of wooden train tracks stretching from room to room at any given time. We love our train tracks, but it’s always nice to have toys that don’t wreck your house within 30 seconds. Tomy has launched their Chuggington Die-Cast Railway featuring tracks that stack high, so we don’t have to deal with the maze of tracks through our house anymore.
Our girls can build spiraling track layouts, but I don’t have to worry about the tracks being unsafe and falling over because the track system has been engineered for stability and durability. The Die-Cast Railway can be built multiple ways, encouraging their young minds to do what they do best: imagine, create, construct and play. It isn’t just a one track kind of playset, in every playset there are multiple layouts they can build.
This playset is for preschool aged children, but you may want to set up the tracks yourself. My husband and 7-year-olds set it up immediately when it arrived. Every piece was strapped down in the box, which is great for keeping the pieces in good condition, but it took a little longer to initially put together than we’d expected.
