This is one of my favorite age ranges to shop for! There are so many great toys for Girls 7-9, plus they are up for playing with just about anything. Here are some of the top gifts I would recommend.

Take the fun of shopkins and blend in the joy of building with the new Shopkins Kinstructions sets. There are a lot of sets to pick from. All come with Shopkins toys and all the bricks and instructions needed for the set. The Food Truck above has 184 pieces, so this is a large set but for a fraction of the price most brick construction sets. These sets do work with most other brick brands.
My Little Pony Equestria Girls – Legend of Everfree Dolls

This is a gift that is on trend for this holiday season. Moana is the newest Disney Princess with a movie set to release the weekend of Thanksgiving. So grab any gear you can before the movie comes. After the movie is out, these items will jump in price and become hard to find.

Mermaid Tail Blankets are a hit this year for all ages. The blankets are soft and cozy and come in a variety of colors and even in different shapes. They do have kids sizes if you are shopping for someone really small, though going with the regular size means that mama can borrow it from time to time.

We got these for our girls last Christmas and they have been a favorite all year. We did learn that you can back the car over them… but they are very affordable if something does go wrong. I’m a huge fan of gifts that get them out of the house and make them burn some energy. This is one of those that they will play on all afternoon!

Let their creativity go wild as they cover everything imaginable with tape. These are fun little rolls of tape, all different designs and colors. Each roll has 9 feet of tape on it. My girls love these to cover head bands, decorate journals and pretty much anything else they can imagine.

Melissa & Doug Suspend Game

This is a game the entire family can play! Suspend is like pick up sticks backwards. Each player adds on a different piece trying to keep the set balanced. We enjoy this with homeschool too, each time you get a question right that person gets to put on the next piece. The game is for 8+, but even our 4 year old can play (she does need a bit of help once lots of things are balanced though).
