supermax blue

CloudB SuperMax the Turtle

Retails: $22

Get the effect of stars on the ceiling without having to actually put anything on your ceiling. You just press a button and it lights up the room with stars. It is designed to help children outgrow their fear of the dark and automatically shuts off after 45 minutes. A portion of the sales are donated to the MaxLove Project, a nonprofit organization that fights childhood cancer.  We received this product to review and I love that it’s small enough to fit in our suitcase and travel with us.  Kids especially don’t like dark rooms in a new environment.  This one will fit nicely on pretty much any night stand.

wolf

Wild Republic 12″ Wolf

Retails: $12

Wild Republic makes stuffed animals that are designed to look and sound realistic to encourage kids to love nature. They also have jewelry, play sets, and more.  In my opinion, this wolf wins the stuffed animal game this year.  I base my award on softness and cuddliness.  This is one of the softest stuffed animals I’ve felt and it’s cute.  I mean, look at that face.  Something else I love, there was a shipping mix up and this company ended up donating 4 of these wolves to the charity where we were donating.

pug

Hasbro Furreal Friends JJ My Jumpin Pug Set

Retails: $30

This is the perfect gift for any boy who wants a dog but isn’t ready for a living one. It has lifelike movements and responds to touch. You can even pat it’s head to help it calm down.  Your kids are going to love JJ.  You’re going to love when JJ stops barking.  Seriously, this dog is really cute and active which keeps your kids interested.  However, he makes noises every time you walk by him, so you may start making the request that your kids keep him in their room.

iron man playset

Habsro Iron Man Armor Up Fortress Play Set

Retails: $23

This play set has everything needed to re-enact movie scenes with working lights and sounds. It includes a Tony Stark figure and 2 suits of armor. There is a cool tower you can place the Tony Stark figure on that will lower the figure into his armor.  I thought the size of this playset was perfect for a boy in this age range to enjoy.  It’s a reconfigurable set which allows them to build any kind of scenario for Iron Man to play out.

pie ace

Pie Face Game

Retails: $15

Most boys (and girls) love anything messy so this is sure to be a hit. You basically put your face through the mask and turn the handles to see if you’ll get hit in the face with whipped cream. Note: whip cream not included.

drill n fill

Play-Doh Doctor Drill N Fill

Retails: $15

Kids can make braces and brush teeth for this Play-Doh head. The playset comes with dental tools and three cans of Play-Doh modeling compound.

ice cream ball

Yaylabs SoftShell Ice Cream Ball
