Groupon is officially entering the grocery market with the acquisition of Snap, a Canadian grocery app. They have also moved the offers to the US Market, which means we have another way to save!!
I’ll confess this may be the best program yet. It works exactly the same way as apps we’ve been using for the last year:
- Buy the items in the store.
- Come home and take a picture/pictures of your receipt and upload them through the app or their website.
What’s different is that for some items you can buy more than one and redeem the offer more than once! So… I go into Publix this week and buy 4 packs of Huggies diapers, then I can earn $12 back right now through app – $3 for each pack purchased.
Don’t forget that you can still use coupons for these items in the store. I happen to have a few $2 off Huggies printable coupons you see where this is going…
When you have $20 saved up in the app you can select to “Request a Check”.
You only have 2 days to upload your receipt from the time you purchase items. Also keep in mind that when offers reach their limit they will disappear, so on high value offers you probably want to submit for your money back the same day!
Don’t have a smartphone? That’s okay you can still submit through their website!!
