Looking for a new stroller? I’ve owned a stroller or two, not to say I’m expert but… Any mama whose tried to collapse a stroller with a baby on your hip and a sippy cup in your hand knows that some features are very important. I have a vivid memory of friends that helped up shop for our first twin stroller. The husband took the stroller, held onto the handle and threw it. “If it doesn’t work one handed, you don’t want it”. Thankfully for him and store owner it opened perfectly.
With that in mind, I was thrilled to hear of a new stroller to the market in the US designed by parents for parents. Mamas & Papas is a big baby brand in Great Britain that is moving across the pond.
The Mamas & Papas Armadillo stroller was inspired by the sturdy and collapsible animal. This no-nonsense stroller is light and practical with a large, lie-flat seat designed to give baby extra wiggle room. Armadillo adds simplicity to everyday strolling with an inward, no-fuss fold that allows you to fold the stroller in just seconds with one hand. An adjustable leg rest makes for optimal comfort during nap time, while the XL removable hood canopy provides maximum protection in any type of weather. The stroller even features a five point safety harness, all round suspension and swivel wheels, and a flip-flop friendly brake for easy stop and go.
It has many additional features that benefit parents and baby, including a large shopping basket, easy carry handle, peek-a-boo window, puncture resistant tires, and an automatic lock for when the stroller is folded. The Armadillo is car seat compatible with the Aton, Maxi Cosi Cabrio Fix, Maxi Cosi Pebble, and Chicco Key Fit 30.
