For folks with families that struggle with allergies, clean air is really important. No one in our family has allergies, but we still have rooms in our house with poor circulation where an air purifier would be a huge help!
Recently, Fellowes sent us their AP-300 PH Air Purifier to try out in our home. It’s been hanging out in our bonus room where there’s no air circulation and the air gets a little stale. This air purifier is also a good idea if you’re worried about poor air quality around your kids. Just set it up in their bedroom and they’re good to go!
This thing is seriously high tech, but not so much that it’s difficult to set up. It purifies rooms up to 300 square feet and it’s fairly quiet while operating. It’s not completely silent, but it’s definitely more quiet than a window unit. It comes with PlasmaTrue Technology that removes airborne pollutants and gets air cleaner at the molecular level, instantly neutralizing viruses and germs in the air. To me that’s a lot of fancy talk for killing germs before they have the chance to get us sick.
The True HEPA Filter safely removes 99.97% of all of the impurities you don’t want in your air – including mold spores, pollen, dust mites, allergens, cigarette smoke, pet dander and odors. Something we thought was fun was that you can watch and see what level of air purity the room is as it continues to change. Ours started out on the low air quality and continued to creep up to better quality. It even comes with an Air Purity Sensor which monitors the air quality and automatically adjusts the fan speed to keep air purified.
