Leave a comment below telling me why you’re most excited for the upcoming Holiday season.
I am most excited about the upcoming Holiday season for the family, friends and food!
My son is 20 months old now and will be appreciating Christmas a little more this year than last. I am looking forward to him seeing our tree for the first time!
The holidays are so much fun with kids! I am so thankful for my 3-yr old daughter.
Christmas is the most magical time of year! With all the shopping (santa magic), the elves, trees and trimmings! Food, family and fun!.. But most importantly, to us, my family, Jesus gave up His throne to come down here and save us. When you add that all up it truly is the most wonderful time of the year!
I’m most excited about spending time with family & emphasizing Jesus’ birth to my 4 year old, as well as introducing my 18 mo. old to the true reason for our holiday celebration. I was mapping out my memory verses for the rest of the year. For December 25, it’s I Jn. 5:21 “Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.” I don’t think it’s a coincidence that falls on Christmas! Anyway, I say all that…can’t wait to impress that upon my kids and treasure time with family!
My 3 1/2 year old loves Veggie Tales and Christmas. I am definitely excited for this upcoming Christmas Season. It gives us a chance to share the love of Christ with those across the U.S. and not appear awkward :-). Thanks!
We love Christmas because it gives us a chance to celebrate the greatest Gift of all!! I love the lights and enjoyment of those around me. My family will be taking 2 weeks to just be together. We are looking forward to this year because I no longer work, and my husband is taking leave, so we can enjoy our 2 teenagers, with this as the last Christmas our oldest will be “home” with us.
I’m very excited because my son is 2 1/2 this year, and he is understanding a little more of WHAT Christmas really is about… the birth of Jesus! When I ask him why do we celebrate he starts singing Happy Birthday. :) I know he is also going to love the lights and decorations this year. I love being able to be with family and cook big holiday meals together. :)
I am most excited about seeing the look on my children’s faces Christmas morning and it reminding me of when I was their age, and my mother reading the Christmas story from the Bible to us on Christmas day!
With a two year old and a four year old I am most looking forward to watching them enjoy the season.
My oldest is turning 3, so she gets to really look forward to Christmas now that she understands what’s going on. My middle child loves being helpful and throwing away things, so you know she’s going to have a blast helping with all of the wrapping paper! Such sweet memories to be made!!
Excited about spending time with family mostly! Would love the veggie deal – thanks!
My parents now live 30 min away instead of 4-5 hours. It will be the first holiday season I don’t have to travel with a small child!!
I am more excited now more than ever because the war is over and they are sending them all home so my babies will get to spend Christmas with their daddy now! Yipee! First time in 3 years they will have him for the holidays! :)
My youngest is 1 1/2. Last year he was too little to open gifts. Can’t wait to see him in action this year! And also thanks to Jenny I was able to get the HP Touchpad for my oldest. Can’t wait to see his face!
I am most excited to share another Christmas with my son. He has the most fun doing each and every activity from decorating, lighting the tree and of course opening presents! He just loves his Veggie Tales. I am always amazed at church when he remembers what movie the verse came from!
Dear Southern Savers Readers,
I am most excited for this holiday season to begin teaching my children the real meaning of the holidays. My daughter is 4 years old this year so its my hope that we will be able to teach her the Biblical message of Christmas and about giving to others. My plan is to ask her to choose a couple of toys that we can give to kids whose parents cannot buy them toys this year. Wish me luck.
All the best!
Christi
I am most excited because my little man is 2 1/2, and he started walking the week of Christmas last year! He was much more delayed than his other peers, and it was totally out of the blue – like a miracle! That will always be a special time to me! Plus – he loves Veggie Tales – we did Bob and Larry painted pumpkins this year!
I am most excited about spending time together as a family and celebrating Christ’s birth.
I love Christmas time!! It is so much fun watching my 2 year little girl lean about this time of year. Veggis Tails is a great way to help her learn about Christmas and the true meaning of the season. I also love being able to share this time of year with the 1st and 2nd grade Sunday school class I teach.
I am excited because I have custody of my great nephew and I’m looking forward to showing him what Christmas is all about.
My son is three this year and really beginning to soak up the understanding of christmas. What a beautiful season and not because of the people, but the one true Savior that came on Christmas and died for our sins. What a great time to teach my little one great things and no easier and better way than to reach him through his favorite show – Veggie Tales! God bless you all during this beautiful season!
This season 3 of our grandchildren will be 4 and we will have a total of 3 more grandchildren by mid November. I love seeing the Grandchildren experience Christmas. It’s like getting to experience it all over again. You get to see the true meaning and beauty of Christmas.
With my spouse in the military, we usually live far away from family. This year, we are close enough to celebrate the holiday season with them!
To spend time with my family.
We’re excited for the holidays because we’re pregnant with our first baby! We’ll have a chance to spend some quality time with the family and enjoy each other preparing for the first grandchild :) I can’t wait for this wonderful time to get here!
Making sweet memories with our family and looking forward to all of those teachable moments now that our son is another year older and able to understand a little more about the true meaning of Christmas.
I have a 2, 4 & 6 year old. This will be a very sweet & fun Christmas with kids these ages. We love watching Christmas videos together! (My oldest asks for Christmas movies all year long.) I am already ready for the holidays.
I have two new additions to my family and are family is not complete with my twin baby girls. My 4 year old is so happy, to celebrat Christmas with his sisters and I am so blessed to be able to experience it.
I am excited about getting back to the true meaning of Christmas. Last year, we decided to help others less fortunate instead of exchanging gifts on my side of the family (except for the children) and it felt sooo goood. I usually don’t have the funds for that because of the added finances at Christmas, but this way I didn’t spend any more than I would have and it cut down on the stress of the season tremendously! Looking forward to it again this year…it actually makes Christmas fun again when we get together and hare our stories!
I am excited about seeing all my family. BTW – my son is the world’s biggest Veggie Tales fan! He is obsessed. :)
I must say that I am most excited about the upcoming Holiday season because this year, it is going to be less stressful for the first time in a very long time. I, as well as, most of us know what the true meaning of the Holiday season is all about. Also, I love spending time with my family. I love the cheer, hospitality, joy and love that is shared. I love the smells, the food and the hot drinks. However, in the past, I have always been so stressed about money. Back in January, my husband and I started Dave Ramsey and even though we are not out of debt yet, we are well on our way! It helped us prepare for the upcoming expense all year long and it feels so good that we have it covered with no worries! We set the money aside all year and now we do not have to put gifts on our credit cards. So, again, I am most excited about the upcoming Holiday season because I get to spend more quality time with my family and treasuring those moments instead of worrying and stressing about where I am going to come up with the money.
I am excited about this holiday season because I get to experience my baby girl’s first Christmas (she will be 10 months). Also, my husband and I hope to be pregnant with our second child and have our own place by Christmas as well. By the way, my daughter loves Veggie Tales. Her favorite is “Rack, Shack, and Benny”. It would be so much fun to have a Christmas one to watch with her. Thank you!!
My Granddaughter has fallen in love with the Veggie Tale DVD’s which i have bought her. Also I am over our Childrens Church and we have a movie day off and on. We have a collection of the Veggie Tale ones and they all have great lessons to learn from. I would love to have the new Christmas ones to share with all I love and work with at church.
We are excited about Christmas this year as we are every year. It’s such a beautiful time of year with all the decorations and time spent with family and close friends. And we get to celebrate Jesus’ birth and thank him for everything from the past year and new one to come. My daughter just turned one a she ooh’s over everything new and is learning so many new words and things. I can’t wait for all she has to learn and look forward to this time of year!
I am most excited to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with family and friends over the holiday season.
I am most excited because my parents just went through a divorce and I am excited for my mother. This will be the first year that I feel like she will enjoy herself and be able to relax without drama and chaos. There are five of us kids ranging in all ages and she has two grandchildren who light up her world. I pray that she finds peace this Christmas season with her new life.
Christmas is wonderful and magical time of the year. We love to spend time together as a family making memories that will last a lifetime!
Looking forward to being reminded of the real reason for Christmas.
i am excited for the holiday season because my 3 grandchildren will be coming from Iowa to spend a few days along with seeing my other grandchildren who live close. They are the joy of my life.
I’m most excited for the holiday season because it will be our very first with a child! We can’t wait to celebrate the holidays with our sweet little girl!
Like many who have posted, I have two small children (2 1/2 and 4) that are starting to realize the meaning of Christmas. My four-year-old is pretty excited about it already. This would be a great addition to focus on the importance of the season and the real reason we celebrate.
I am most excited to see my family. Working retail all year doesn’t allow me time to go home, so they all travel north to see my family each year and I look forward to it every season!
With time off cutbacks continuing this year, we are looking forward to some much needed days off for good quality family time.
I am excited about the upcoming holiday season because I get to sit as a family to read the Bible, watching those happy faces when they open their gift to find out that they got what they were wishing for, and good food.
My grandson LOVES Veggie Tales and sharing them with his friends
I am most excited about spending our first Christmas together with my husband and anxiously awaiting the birth of our first baby in early January!
My daughter is 15 months old, so this will be the first Christmas where she can sort of understand what is going on. She loves Veggietales! I’d love to win this video to show her every year at Christmas.
It will be my first christmas where my little girl is old enough to be excited about everything! So looking forward to it!
I’m very excited for the Holidays because all the family will be togheter this Christmas!
We welcomed our fourth daughter this year, and both my younger brothers married! This is the first time we will all be together…and I am immensely thankful. Also, we’ll be up at my parents’ home in PA, and so there is the hope we will celebrate snow, too.
Christmas is a special time when my family gets together for food, fun, and great fellowship. Every year we all gather around and read the Christmas story. My son has been raised on Veggie Tales movies. I love the morals that are taught in these movies. Even now when teaching my Sunday School class I will mention the movies when telling bible stories! Keep the great Veggie Tales movies and CD’s coming!!!
My favorite part of the holidays is family. We do not focus on gifts but just being together is enough!
We are very excited about spending the holidays with our family this year and this will be our daughters first Christmas. Our children love these DVDs.
I am most excited about experiencing Christmas with my two very (already) excited children and another on the way.
Family! I love our big family get together when all the cousins, aunts and uncles hang out; it’s a blast.
This year will be extra special because we will be welcoming our son into the world. He will be the first grandson on my husband’s side of the family. It will also be a bitter sweet Christmas because I will not be able to travel to be with my grandparents. It will be the first time in my life that I will not see them on Christmas. But our 2 year old daughter will be more into the fun and excitement this year so it will make it memorable no matter what!
So excited for Christmas this year. My 2 year old is already excited seeing the Christmas decorations in the stores and the addition of our second daughter this summer will make this Christmas even more special.
I am excited because this will be my younger son’s first Christmas. My 3 year old son loves Christmastime. He always wants to look at the lights and decorations at the store. Last year I bought my son a book at the Christian bookstore that told the true story of Christmas because I want him to know that Christmas is about the gift Jesus gave to us, not just about Santa, presents, etc. I am excited to give gifts to my family because I will be making some fun gift baskets since I started couponing. Also, I LOVE Christmas music! I am excited to celebrate the blessings that God has given my family this year.
This Christmas all of our boys (4,2,1) will be old enough to get excited about Christmas and family time. It should be so much fun. They love Veggie Tales. We listen to Veggie Tales on the way to school everyday. They know all the words.
The best Christmas present I got was my daughter 6 (almost) years ago on Christmas morning at 6:07am. I love that little girl and every Christmas is so much more precious to me since our family was blessed with her.
I am looking forward to all the get-togethers (not just the food but the Christmas programs that tell about the birth of Jesus.)
I’m looking forward to those special family gatherings where the love of Christ is celebrated!
Christ, family, togetherness! :)
I am looking forward to seeing the smiles on my children’s faces. They always light up this time of year. I am also excited about celebrating our Savior’s birth with them!!
I love Christmas lights and music!
I am most excited for the upcoming Holiday season because it is another chance to tell the world about the miraculous birth of the savior of the world! There are many many people who do not that there is a God that was born into this world, and he came to save our souls. That is the MOST important reason for this season!
I’m looking forward to Christmas this year because I had our first child, a son, this year and this will be his first Christmas. I’m excited to see how he will respond to all the festivites! :)
I have 3 kids (4,2,and 11 months) and I cant wait to share the Holiday season with them. They make it so much fun for me and my husband!!!!!

I’m looking forward to enjoying the holiday season through the eyes of my 5 year old.
I look forward to the holidays because I get to spend time with my family. We have several traditions that I cannot imagine doing without them. I am really also looking forward to our Christmas program at church. Last year’s is going to be hard to beat:)
I am so excited to spend time with family. We have little ones in the family and it has been 10 years since we had little ones at Christmas. I cannot wait for Christmas baking! I love this time of year!
I am excited about my grandmother meeting my new baby for the first time!
I look forward to the Holidays because I live so far away from my family, and I’m able to go home for Thanksgiving and Christmas to celebrate it with them.
I am most excited just to have another Christmas with my wife and 5 year old daughter. After having heart surgery (twice before – and once again this year), I do not take any day for granted.
I am excited for this holiday season because I’ll get to see my parents for the first Christmas in a long time! Also, my 2-year-old daughter is so excited too, and that just rubs off!
Making memories and traditions to make Christmas time my daughters favorite time of year.
My son is 2 and I have family coming from South Africa to visit so it will be a real family Christmas seen through the eyes of a child. I am so excited as I miss everyone so terribly being so far away from them!
Because my 18 month old granddaughter is old enough to be excited this Christmas – and because i have ANOTHER grandchild on the way!!!!
This year my daughter is old enough to realize what Christmas is about (my son, not so much). We told her that we will be taking some of our Christmas money and buying toys/clothes for children in need and she is SO excited about that! So, I am looking forward to seeing my little girl begin to think of others and realize more and more what it means to be Christ-like!
My husband, daughter (16months), and myself moved to Florida this year…18 hours away from home on a leap of faith. We will be going home to Kansas this Christmas to see family (including 9 nieces and nephews). We love Christmas most importantly to remember the gift God gave us when Jesus was born but also to have great family time! The Veggie Tales giveaway would be a great addition to our Christmas traditions!
I live far from family and old friends, so it’s such a wonderful time of the year to renew friendships and connect with extended family!
I’m looking forward to spending time with my family.
Spending time with family that is spead out to far. We also have a new niece and she will only be 4 months old, so exciting to see the kiddos on their first Christmas. We are currenlty teaching our son (3) about the birth of Jesus and love the veggie tales series and the awesome messages they provide. Thank you for this great offer!
I am looking for toeveryhing! My girls think it should be Christmas everyday! Thier getting older and I dont want to miss a minute! Plus the homemade candies are good too!

Love Christmas! Love celebrating Christ’s birth during this time, Love spending time with family and friends, Love all the smells and sounds that come along with the season!
I am super excited about the upcoming holiday season. My baby girl turned 1 in September. She is into everything as it is so Christmas will be super fun! She will get to see lots of family and enjoy the gift giving and love getting presents of her own. I get to show and teach someone what I think the spirit of Christmas is all about. Jesus, family, food and the fun of being together!
This time of year all always get overwhelmed to know that my God sent His Son to earth to become human and be the ultimate sacrifice so I can have an intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ…the best present ever!
I have a 3 year old that loves veggie tales. And I would love to see this one. Thanks Joeann
I love spending time with family and reflecting on the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.!
There are two things I am most excited about this holiday season. The first being my children;s reaction Christmas morning. My older son and twins are old enough to understand Christmas and Santa bringing presents. My son was so excited last year and it was the cutest thing when he ran in my room and yelled, “Santa came!!” The second is seeing my family. I am one of six and it has been several years since all of us could get together for a holiday. My younger brother has been deployed to Afghanistan the past two years and we all live in different parts of the US so it is hard to find a time for all of us to get together.
I’m excited about seeing my new niece for the first time along with her two-year old brother from CO. We keep Chirst in Christmas and all year long so what a great gift to give them.
I am most excited about being able to share my son’s first Christmas with him and helping him to understanding the true meaning of CHRISTmas!
We have two kids and our first child will be old enough to actually know what’s going on this year. It should be fun!
Because we get to celebrate Christmas with our newest arrival!!!
This year is really special for us! My girls figured out on their own that there is no Santa Claus (thanks to our efforts with Operation Christmas Child). Telling kids that we need to give Christmas to others I guess spilled the beans. But they are so excited – our 5-yr old says we are being Santa to the kids, while my 4-yr old says we are being Jesus. I kind of like being both!
I am most excited about the holiday season because it is a time of new beginnings. Celebrating the birth of Christ and the new year represents hope in the future despite the success and or failures of the past. Love and hope is what excites me the most this year. And my favmily and I are looking for more of it to be manifested in 2012. :<)
My baby boy, Whit, was born in April and we were told he wouldn’t live to 6 months! God only knows how long we ALL have, but he’s 6 months and getting stronger! Christmas, here we come!!! :)
I am most excited about Christmas this year because we are spending it with my family in TX. They haven’t met our newest daughter yet. So it will be a great time to celebrate the birth of Christ and the birth of our daughter!
Because I am ready to see my family and longer than a few hours to hang out :)
I am excited about spending a weekend with the entire family this Christmas!
I am most looking forward to all the traditions that come along with the holidays. Baking, eating, decorating, shopping and most of all having so much family around!
I am most excited about getting to spend time with family that lives in another city . . . I can’t wait to see them!
I’m most excited for the upcoming holiday season because of all the quality time I’ll get to spend with family. Just thinking about it makes me smile! :)
I love the Christmas season for many reasons. My kids are 3, 5, 7, and 9, so it will be a really fun time for them this year. Also, my husband is a teacher, so we enjoy those couple of weeks off together. And it’s always a blessing to celebrate the Savior’s birth.
My brother is at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and he will be home for 2 1/2 weeks. I am so excited to see him again!
Spending the holiday season in our new home.
Christmas time for our family is great to gather with the children and grandchildren. Veggie tales help teach our grandchildren about Christ. Thank you
Our first Christmas celebrating with our daughter, son-in-law, and his children. It has been many years since we have had little ones to enjoy at Christmas.
Seeing family definitely, but also all of the decorations and the overall feeling of joy that comes with such a wonderful time of year!
This is the first year in a long time that I will be able to celebrate the whole season with family and friends after working in the service industry for 13 years. I can’t wait to spend time with the kids without rushing away, candlelight service, laughter and Love!
Our little family of three will be able to be together for Christmas this year. I cherish the time when my husband isn’t deployed.
I am excited about the Christmas Holiday season because we moved back to our home state this year and we will be able to be a part of all the Holiday festivities this year for the first time in 12 years with our families!
This is my family’s 1st Christmas living at the beach due to a relocation. I can’t wait to take Christmas pictures on the beach with my three year old. She loves VEGGIE TALES.

This Thanksgiving our little family will have an additional blessing added to it. On November 28 we are expecting our 3rd child. Looking forward to spending the holiday season with our new family of five. God is so good!
My children are age 2 and 5. I am looking forward to seeing them enjoy the wonders of Christmas.
This will be my sons 2nd Christmas but last Christmas he was so small. This year we get to see his face light up when he opens presents and sees a christmas tree for the first time. I cant waiit to spend this time of the year with family and our new church family also.
Even though we don’t have much money to spend on Christmas this year, I am so excited to just spend the time with my family. I love Christmas – it truly is the best season of the year. I love the food, fellowship, and fun that comes along with it! And my son will turn two just after Christmas, so we are really looking forward to seeing him enjoy the season this year too!
Watching my 2 yr old’s expression of wonderment with all the decorations and festivities.
I am excited about Christmas because of the holiday stories, such as The Grinch, A Christmas Carol, and It’s a Wonderful Life. Even if these don’t expressly name Jesus, they recognize the purpose of Christmas: God broke into our world as a baby to bring us bigger hearts, a purpose beyond ourselves, and abundant life, something that almost every Christmas classic expresses in one way or another.
taking time off from a bustling semester and watching my son enjoy these movies are what i look forward to!!
My son will be two this Christmas. I think he will enjoy all of the festivities a lot more.
Time with family, reflecting on loved ones that have gone on to be with God, and reminding ourselves why we really are on this earth for. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
So many blessings to be thankful for this year as always. Having the opportunity to share Jesus with the world – especially the little ones.
I’m looking forward to spending time with my husband and 3 girls. Cooking sweets, making gingerbread houses and watching Christmas specials on TV. My youngest will be 2 a few days before Christmas, so this year will be lots of fun for her!
Can’t wait to celebrate Jesus’ birthday :)
so excited about spending time with my family!
I am excited because my 4 year old (who LOVES Veggie Tales) is finally old enough to really understand what Christmas is all about and enjoy every moment of it. We also have a brand new baby that will be 7 months old at Christmas and it will be so much fun to see him experiencing all the lights and sounds of the season.
This year is my son’s second Christmas (but last year he was only 1 month old) so I am going to consider it his first real one :) My sister is also expecting and should be finished with the house they have been building for over a year. There are so many things to be thankful for and it’s easy to look over them in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but this time of year really makes you take a step back and look at what life has given you and appreciate it all.
im looking forward to my new little baby boy being born!!! hope i win!!!

All of my family will be visiting me for Christmas this year! There will be 13 happy, blessed people in my house and I will be the most blessed of all.
I spent last Christmas season working 60-70 hours a week. I left my job to be home full time with my children, and I’m just ecstatic to really SPEND TIME doing holiday things like baking and decorating together.
We are really excited about this holiday season because we are going back to the root of how Christmas started which is Christ’s birth. We are focusing more on family time instead of buying a lot of gifts.
We are going on vacation for Christmas this year! First time, ever! We have a 7, 4, and 1 year old and I’m so excited to spend that time with them… away from “reality”!

I have 3 boys aged 6 1/2, 5, and 3 1/2 so there is never a dull moment. But I love being able to remind my boys of the true meaning of Christmas. We always tell them that Jesus loves them so much that He lets them have presents in celebration of His birth!
This year my sister and my niece (age 7) are living with us so they will make a wonderful addition to our Christmas morning. My son (age 3) adores my niece and will be so happy to get to play with her admist all their new goodies. Plus, this year my son will be old enough to start learning to wrap gifts :)

She will stand in my lap and dance to all the songs that Larry and Bob sing.
I am most excited this year that as my daughters 2nd Christmas she will be able to understand and experience it more. I love seeing my boys explain what Christmas is and see her eyes light up like she just can’t wait! :)
Christmas it’s our favorite time of the year, even though we are a small family (my 2 kids and me) we have always the best time together, we bake , watch christmas movies till late and read books celebrating Jesus’ birth
Can’t wait for my 2 grandsons (21 months and 14 months) to experience Christmas this year! Last year they were too young. I want to start them off with Christian videos and CDs of Christmas! What a blessed season we celebrate! May we all share the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
I have three little boys, 6, 4, and 6 months! I love seeing the joy on their faces Christmas morning, but I also love teaching them the true meaning of Christmas, we are very excited to celebrate Christmas on Sunday this year! Can’t think of a better way to celebrate than to be in God’s house :)
I love celebrating the birth of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ…I love seeing the excited faces on my children
Christmas is one of the few times a year my whole family is together. We live hours away from home, due to my husband’s job, so Christmas means home & family. :-)
I am looking forward to the holiday season because my kids will really enjoy it this year. My 4 year old is starting to understand what the Christmas story is all about, and my twins will be 18 months and will have so much fun tearing into their gifts and spending time with our extended family!
I love the holiday season because it is a time for my family to slow down a little bit and spend time together and also because we get to focus on our Savior.
We just had baby #4 this year and will be experiencing our last 1st Christmas with a child. My husband and I want to make this Christmas special so we are going to give 3 gifts to our kids like the wise men did and then adopt a child from our churches angel tree. We are really wanting to bring back to real meaning of Christmas to our kids. Veggie tales has always and will always be a favorite in our house. I love the values it teaches and how entertaining it is to children and parents.
because it’s CHRISTmas.
I have started making my home made apple butter to give away (people are already asking for it, they don’t seem to be able to wait till then)
the DVD set will be a great gift to give or get.
This December, my husband, our daughter and myself will be traveling from Florida to Ohio for my husband’s work. He has a three week project and we are going with him. I am excited for our family to take this adventure together, even though we will miss being close to the rest of our family. This is our first time being in a different place around Christmas time and we are looking forward to the adventure.
I love all the fall and winter holidays! This will be the first holidays with our newest addition and we are all excited for her to experience our family traditions.
I would love to win this! My oldest son just recently started liking Veggie Tales. And I am excited for this Christmas, because we get to spend it as a family, TOGETHER! Last year my younger son was born 3 days before Christmas and was in the NICU for 2 weeks. So even though this isn’t his first Christmas, it kind of is. :)
My kids are just now getting to the ages where they understand Christmas and what we are celebrating. My little girl tells me “Mommy it’s not Christmas yet?” My son loves the Little Drummer Boy Song so I would love to win this for him for Christmas <3
I’m excited for this holiday season because it’s the last one we’ll have in America for over 4 years! We’re moving to Europe in March, so we’ll really be making the most of the family time this Christmas.
I love spending time with family and giving gifts!
My son is going into the Army in January so this will be a very special Christmas for my family!
We’re excited because our oldest will be 7 and our twins will be 4 – so this year they finally understand about Christmas, Santa and are old enough to participate in family traditions, making sugar cookies, and decorating the tree!
I’m so excited because my girls will be five and two and a half this year at Christmas. What a magical, exciting time it is at those ages!
My kids LOVE Veggie Tales. They are by far some of the best cartoons out there for the kids and they actually convey the TRUE meaning of Christmas!
This Christmas season is going to be really special for our family. My husband and I are having our first baby (its a girl). She is the first grandbaby and first great grandbaby. All our families are coming together this Christmas (the first time in a long time) to celebrate and spend time together. Can’t wait! I am the oldest daughter among my immediate family and my brothers and sisters still in grade school would really enjoy having a wholesome & funny Veggie Tale video to watch. Merry Christmas and happy early Holiday season to all!!
My kids are 3 and 5, so just starting to understand what the holidays are all about. My in-laws will be here for Christmas, which means so much to us because they live so far away. My husband misses his parents so much and I know my kids will be so excited to have Nana and Grandad here for Christmas.
Family time is what I am looking for this year!
our family will be welcoming a christmas baby this year…a little girl who will have two older and excited brothers!
I am excited about because my little one is will be old enough to open her own presents and show excitement. I can’t wait to see her smile when she opens up her presents.
I am excited this year because my son will be almost 2 and he will be able to actually enjoy his goodies. I am always excited to read The night before Christmas :)
My son will be 15 months this Christmas. So it’s kinda like his first Christmas since last year at 3 months old he didn’t have a clue what was going on. Christmas was always something I looked forward to for 11 months out of the year, i’m excited to start new traditions and make it something he will look forward to as well.
This holiday season is going to be particularly exciting because we will finally be a family again! My husband comes home from deployment in a few weeks! I can’t wait for my kiddos to have their daddy back!
I excited to spend the holidays with my husband, who has been deployed most of this year, and who is now living across the country from myself and our daughter.
My first and only grandson will be so fun this Christmas – he will be one year old next week and I can’t wait to introduce him to Veggie Tales – especially the Christmas ones! I kept all the Veggie Tales from when my kids were small – but they’re all on VHS…I’d like to start collecting them again on DVD to share with him!
I Love just having what family I still have to enjoy Christmas with. I love decorating the tree and keeping my 4 yr old who is disabled from eating the pretty ornaments and a 1 yrs old who will probably be climbing it this year. There may not be a lot of presents but Jesus is the Reason for the Season in this house.
I cant wait for this Christmas, my great niece will be two years old on the second of January so she will be the perfect age for her to get into the holiday season. she loves music and her books where she can tell you all the pictures. I am just waiting to put up the tree.
I will fly home for Christmas and can’t wait to see my family
Christmas is my most favorite season, the true reaseon for the season. Also, my son is just turning 4 and sings songs all the tome and has already started singing Christmas songs. This is going to be a fun year!
I am most excited about seeing my family. With my husband being deployed and he is not going to be here for the holidays I am glad to spend with family.
I am always looking for ways to share the true reason for the Holiday. I also love to watch videos with my kids. VTs are something I do not have to be afraid of what may be present.
I’m excited about cooking and baking all the food. Also am excited to see my son get all excited about Christmas.
I’m most excited to see Christmas through my 2 year old’s eyes
I’m so excited to spend time with family and friends.
I am most excited about spending Christmas with my family!
We will have a new addition to the family this year to share the holidays with!! So excited for my nephew’s arrival in November!!!
My favorite parT if Christmas is spending time loving on family I don’t get to see often! And sharing the love of chirst because that is the true meaning of Christmas!!
Because it is Jesus Birthday.
we are excited about just being together, It has been a hard year for ty’s (age 3) health and we are happy to have another chirstnas with our little guy.
I am most excited for Christmas to get here so that Santa can stop hiding presents in my bedroom closet! :-)
I am really excited about Christmas. I love everything about it, spending time with family, seeing how excited my son is when Santa brings him lots of presents. Most of all it’s a wonderful time to remember when my Savior was born and celebrate his birth!
Can’t wait to share the excitement of the Christmas season with our two-year-old son.
Christmas is a feeling, an emotion, an enduring search for the “perfect gift” for those you love. I get excited over the season & the reason. The food and presents are great, but I find the holiday spirit to be alot more fun than all of that. The lights in the storefronts, the music on the radio, the decorations lit up as you walk or drive in your neighborhood. Basically the simple, inexpensive things make Christmas such a special time of year.
this is the only time my family gets together during the year.
We can not wait for Christmas this year because our 2 1/2 yr. old is so excited about Jesus’ birthday & the party we will have in honor of him.
This will be our first Christmas as a family of FOUR! :-)
I LOVE CHRISTMAS, One because it is Jesus Birthday, Two everyone is so giving and loving toward eachother and people they do not even know.
Simply put, spending time with my precious family God has blessed me with.
I am looking forward to spending time with my family and sharing the love of Christ this Christmas. My daughter Kendra is two and LOVES Veggie Tales so much that she knows all the songs on her most favorite DVDs. It would be nice for us to win so she can learn the true meaning of Christmas.
I am so excited about the holiday season because my husband who is a law enforcement officer will be off for the first time in 5 years for Thanksgiving and Christmas!! It will be nice to have us sit around the table on the actual day and have a nice dinner together! Him being home is the best gift of all!
It’s the smells of food cooking, children laughing and adults getting together joyfully
I look forward to watching my nephew enjoy Christmas. He is finally old enough to be excited about Christmas time. And he loves Veggietales!!!!!!!!
Excited to see family that I never get to see during the year. Last year, I was ill and not feeling up to Christmas. It was difficult to celebrate with so much pain. Now, I’m all better and looking to make up for lost time! LOL! Ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus!
My husband lost his job this time last year.
We r so thankful that he has been blessed
With a job this year and things are starting to
Look better! Praise the Lord:)
Always be grateful for what you have
Thanks
I’m looking forward to starting new traditions in our new house.
Because Christmas is my favorite time of year-the birth of Jesus, Family and the possibility of snow gets closer.
My twin boys are already getting excited about the holidays and celebrating Jesus’ birth. It makes the season even more special the older they get and the more they understand what Christmas is really about.
I’m excited for Christmas & Thanksgiving this year because we will have a 1 year old, in stead of a 1 month old – she’ll be able to interact with us so much more… although I do miss how cuddly she was when she was just a month old ; )
I’m making a real effort to get the necessary things done early (cards, shopping, etc) so that I can focus on the season’s meaning and my own family.
we are super excited for Christmas this year. It will be the year we celebrate not only the birth of Christ, but I myself will be 9 months pregnant. It’s a time to celebrate the birth if Jesus and await our unborn child.
Spending time with FAMILY!! I love seeing my grandkids face light up on Christmas day!!
I started teaching first grade at a Christian school after a 16 year hiatus of raising my own children. I’ve shown two Veggie Tale episodes on rainy days so far this year and would love to show the new one around Christmas time.
I love to see the look of excitement on my kids faces when they see christmas lights!
I never get tired of sharing and focusing on the True meaning of Christmas with my family, especially my little children. We have a manger scene where we place our gifts because Jesus is the Greatest Gift. We should be willing to give to others since Jesus gave so much for us. We have a tree as well where we put an electric train track around the bottom and watch the train go around :) Also my Aunt and cousin visit us for christmas along with my parents. I’m not sure my Aunt will make it for 2012 Christmas as she is in VERY poor condition. We don’t expect her to live the year so this Christmas will be especially special.
My most exciting Holiday would be Thanksgiving. I love spending time with Family and it was my mom’s favorite time of the year outside of Christmas so it always brings back floods of good memories. This year my son is going to be 1 so it’s going to be even more fun!
This year, my sister and her husband is sponsoring an orphan child from Russia for the Christmas season. I’m excited about watching a 13 year old boy experience Christmas for the first time and look forward to him learning about why we celebrate Christmas–Jesus. We also have 3 little boys of our own, ages 4, 3 & 1. It gets more and more fun every year!!!
Christmas is my FAVORITE time of year the smells of delicious foods baking in the kitchen lingering through the house with 2 little ones excited to open presents and get a slice of Jesus’ birthday cake. The togetherness of family enjoying the blessings we have been given. What an awesome time to reflect on what our Lord did for us. I even sing Christmas songs throughout the year just to a small taste of the excitement of the season. I am sure as my kids get older they will think I am nuts for that lol
Freely HE has given to us so freely we should give to others ALL year round……not necessarily presents………but the gifts of friendship, love, understanding, and of course our help.
A lot of reasons…but for one, our family’s spending Christmas at my childhood home, where 3 of my kids have never been before, and I have not been in 4 years!
I am so excited about Christmas this year. My son, who is 3, is at a point that he loves surprises. My daughter, who is 1, probably won’t understand, but it is ok. I can’t wait to see my son’s face on Christmas morning.
This Christmas will be my second son’s first Christmas (10 months old) and my oldest son’s fourth! I am so excited to share this Christmas with them, and teach them more about just how great our God is! I’m also excited about watching them share with each other.
The decorations and scents of Christmas are so soothing and comforting. I love the hustle and sometimes craziness of the shopping. There is an energy around that isn’t here any other time of the year. I get to break my Snowmen out of their plastic box prision…After all, there’s No Man Like A SnowMan :)
Time away from the daily grind and quality time with family! Yummy food helps too!
I am excited about the upcoming Christmas season because “For God so loved the world…He gave His only begotten Son… ” ! I try to teach my children it is always better to give than receive. What a gift we have been given through Him.
With 4 girls Christmas is always an exciting time to be at home with the family. We enjoy celebrating life and reading about the birth of Christ every Christmas before we open gifts.
This year will be a different Christmas for us.We are are planning a no gift Christmas and helping out at the Homeless Shelter for the Holidays. So this Christmas will be even more special, because we will be sharing the Love of Christ with others who may not other wise know Him and His story.
May your Holidays be filled with Christ and May each of you find a peice of yourself to share with others this Holiday Season that is approaching.
christmas time is always a happy with family and friends. But its not only a celebration for christmas at our home we have 2 daughters that also celebrate brithdays. one on the 22nd and the other on the 31st so we do huge family party and rejoice in the sprint and celebrate the blessing we have recieved as well. it seems that with children we try to remember what the holiday is real ment for and not so much the commerial adspect.
I am excited first of all, because we get to see family that we only see a couple times a year. Plus, my children are going to have their first cousin in the spring and I can’t wait to see my sister in law cute and pregnant and buy the baby his/her first present!
I can’t wait for the Holiday Season because of the two reasons that are in the next room. My kids. 14 months and 5 years. Also, food and family. Last year and first of this year was so full of heart break I am ready for laughter and fun.
I am most excited about spending the holiday season with my children. It is so fun to watch how excited they are for Christmas.
This year we lost my grandfather, a beloved figure in our lives. It will be a hard Christmas Season, but we are blessed to know that he is with Jesus and is singing along with the other saints. As we anxiously await our reunion, we vow to make this year a great one, full of rejoicing and reminiscing. My kids, now 2 and 3, are finally at the age where they are understanding who Jesus is and why he is so important. It will be fun to read the Christmas story to them this year, and maybe even re-enact it with them.
most exciting thing.. we are expecting # 3 and the older sibs would love a dvd and a sister!
Christmas is unanimously my four children’s favorite holiday. While I’m sure they love the gifts and being off school, what they love and comment about the most is our time together, with Daddy off work and the relaxation of a slower schedule, less activities and homework to enjoy one another.
i’m excited for my son’s first christmas!
I love the Holiday Season and am most exicted about because we celebrate the birth of our Savior; it also means fun family times, excitement from my three year old; and re-living the fun Christmas experience through the eyes of my child…
It will be our family’s first time all together in several years.
I’m just excited about spending time with my Mom and Dad, brother in law, sister, and precious 4 year old nephew – it seems like life is too busy now and you never have enough time!
Because I love the “Reason for the Season.” Politically correct or not…..Happy Birthday, Jesus!!!!!!!
We have a little boy who will be old enough this year to really enjoy Opening gifts this year.
I’m most excited about the upcoming holiday season because it is a precious time we get to celebrate our families, our freedoms, the establishment of our wonderful melting pot culture, to give thanks for so many blessings, and most importantly the birth of Jesus! I just wanted to say thank you in advance for the opportunity to win Veggie Tales gifts. Veggie Tales is a daily part of life in my home and my three year old Noah and I love to sing God is Bigger than the Boogeyman on a loop every morning on the drive to daycare. Thanks again and God Bless! :)
I’m most excited about this holiday season because we’re finally going back to CT to visit my family. For some of them it’s been 5 years since they’ve seen my boys. I can’t wait!
last year my son was only 3 months old, so he wasn’t really into Christmas, but it’s going to be so much fun this year. i can’t wait to see all of his excitment
I love Christmas & celebrating the reason for the season with my children. We do community service as a family & it truly reminds us just how blessed we all are.
My 2 grandsons, 2 years old ,and 9 months love Veggie Tales. This season is a time to teach them the meaning of Christmas, and what we truly need to celebrate. Veggie Tales is a fun , colorful series of stories that keeps them happy while learning at the same time.
I am excited about Christmas this year because it is the first year my little one is old enough to understand why we really celebrate and what the holidays are all about. Being able to help him become a man of faith and to understand how blessed we are and how we can help others makes me more excited than anything else! Watching him be excited to coupon for shoeboxes for less fortunate children and be excited to serve in different holiday community ministries is why I believe this holiday season will be one of the most exciting for my family. :)
I am really excited to share some of the wonderful traditions I grew up with, with my 2 yr old daughter. She has such a zest for life. I can’t wait to take her driving around to see the Christmas lights, let her help me decorate the tree and walk her through a living nativity. I can’t wait to see her enjoyment and enthusiasm of the season.
I am so excited about this Christmas season! I’m most looking forward to watching all the Christmas movies with my 3-year-old, especially since she can appreciate them more this year. Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph, Polar Express, Frosty the Snowman, How the Grinch Stole Christmas … I’m getting excited just thinking about it. :)
I’m excited about the upcoming Christmas season, because I have 3 grandchildren and I love seeing how excited they get ! Christmas is a time to remember Jesus and how much he loves us and to also spend time with family, just love it!
I am excited about this year beacuse we will be at home with our three kidos instead of visiting family out of state. It will be nice to celebrate at home
I am excited to spend time with family and volunteering with OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD!!
Celebrating HIM!!!
I am looking forward to everything about December and Christmas including the church services, the Christmas Cantata, children’s programs, Christmas hymns, and Christmas Eve candlelight service. I love our family traditions every year at this time. Black Friday is one of my favorite days before Christmas. I enjoy shopping the mall, stores, and don’t mind the crowds. Christmas decorations and lights everywhere are just so beautiful. Family and remembering why God sent the most amazing gift to us is the best part of Christmas!
Because I love spending time with family and celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. I love reminding my children of the real love of Jesus and why we have Christmas
I am looking forward to Christmas, because we are starting new traditions. My five year old wants to make Jesus a birthday cake this year, so we are going to get up early Christmas morning and bake and decorate it together.
this is going to be a great Christmas! my oldest will understand better that Santa is coming and it’s Jesus’ birthday. Plus there are the parties and the awesome food!!
This will be our first time cooking at our house instead of going to the inlaws.
I am excited that this year we are going to try to drive down to FL to spend Christmas with our extended family! :)
That’s simple- my whole family will be together this Christmas! Last year my husband was deployed to Iraq for a year and we got a few minutes so he could watch our boys open their gifts via skype. I tried to be full of “Christmas Cheer” for the children but I was still sad inside b/c he wasn’t there with us. So this year I’m thanking God that he can be home with us :-)
I love spending time with family, and teaching my children the true “reason for the season”!
Our family is closing on our first house on December 9th…we are so excited to spend the holidays in our brand new home!!!
I am excited about decorating and shopping! I cant wait to spend time with family, friends and Celebrating our SAVIOR!
I love the spirit of giving and celebrating the real reason the Birth of Jesus. Spending time with family and loved ones. I have 6 grandchildren and they would love to watch this new dvd.
I am so excited to be spending the holiday season with my baby boy!! He is 13 months old <3
I am so excited about this upcoming holiday season because it will be my little girl’s second Christmas! She was only 3 weeks old last year, so this year will be a lot of fun for us!! I’m also very excited about the new Veggie Tales because she loves Junior Asparagus!!
I’m really excited to be surrounded by family this year. For over 20 years we lived in SC, 600 miles away from everyone and this year we will be with them all! Including my 86 yr old grandmother
Looking forward to Christmas with our first baby boy, he is getting into everything so he will have a ball!
Can’t wait for the Christmas season and the opportunity to focus on Christ’s birth with our three small children!
Having all the family together! Two new additions this year, my granddaughter and my great nephew!
Since I’ve had my son, the holiday season is so much more fun because he gets very excited about it!
I am the most excited this coming holiday because we will see all our family and my little one will be old enough to enjoy it too. He will turn 3 on Jan. 1st.
I am most excited about the opportunity to share time with my family over the upcoming holidays. I sat with my 7-year-old and 3-year-old daughters and looked through the Thanksgiving issues of Southern Living and Better Homes and Gardens while we decided which new recipe to try and what decorations we can use that their 8-month-old baby sister (hopefully) will not try to eat. Christmas lights and singing are a great joy, and I’ll cherish every opportunity to take in the sights and sounds with them. We are planning our Samaritan’s Purse shoeboxes now and cannot WAIT to share some of the blessings we have received!
I’m looking foward to celebrating Thanksgiving & Christmas because our family has endured so many changed this past year. We are ready to put the past behind and celebrate what God has laid before us. Especially with some of the new people He has put in some of my family’s lives!
I can’t wait to share the holiday with my daughter since she will finally is interacting with the world around her. Can’t wait to see things through her eyes!
I’m most excited about seeing family, the very yummy food ahead, and the great memories we will make!
I just love the whole thing! Spending time with family and frieds. Special dinners and activities, but most of all I love my kids’ faces on Christmas day. I look forward to see it every year. It is already a family tradition for them to wake up at 2:00 a.m. to open their presents. My oldest, now 15 years old started doing that when he was 5 years old. He has done the same thing since then and the other three adopted it.I usually sleep 2 hours on that day but it doesn’t matter I just love their faces and the happiness that Christmas bring to them!!!
I am excited to dec out my house and spend quality time with my Hubby before our son comes home!
We are most excited about spending our Christmas with my husband’s family since next year he will deployed at Christmas time.
I love the Holidays because of the twinkiling lights, cooler weather, Christmas songs in all the stores, and the kindness of strangers comes out during this time of year. The look on my kids faces when they see a tree twinkling in the dark, or making their lists for Santa, lol. It brings me right back to when i was a little girl and all of the same excitrement i felt during the holidays!!! :D
I am looking forward to the Holiday season because it brings family together to celebrate the amazing gift of Jesus!
I’m most excited because my girls come home for the holidays!! Miss them!!
I love being able to teach my kids the real meaning of Christmas- the celebration of the birth of Jesus our Savior! It’s neat to find fun ways to practice Jesus being the center of our holiday and challenging to keep the focus off presents!
I am excited because my daughter will be one on Dec 15 and it makes me feel like a kid again :)
I am so excited because this will be our sons first Christmas. I can’t wait to see his little face when he sees the bright lights and paper and hears the music…it’s been a year of a lot of praying and we can’t wait to celebrate Jesus and his birthday!
i am taking my kids to england for the holidays to stay with my family that we have not seen in 2 years. so i am so looking forward to all 6 cousins age 14 years to newborn being together on christmas morning to celebrate jesus birthday.
I’m a gift-giver. But with money tight, I am looking forward to finding creative ways to stretch our budget for Christmas, like using my talents to make quality gifts. I am also looking forward to seeing our children get excited to spread Jesus’ love to others. They are especially excited to visit the drop-off center for Operation Christmas Child on Family Day!
I love the opportunity to spend time with family and reflect on the blessing of the Savior’s birth.
watching my four year old Daughter’s face light up when she sees and opens her presents.
Over three years ago we followed God’s prompting to move over 2,500 miles across the US. This is the first Christmas that we will be able to go back and be with our extended family and for some of them it will be their first time meeting our second child. I’m truly thrilled to celebrate Christ’s birth with those so dear to my heart!
Everything! Christmas is my favorite holiday! :)
I am excited because it is my daughter’s first Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I know she’s still 4 months and won’t remember a thing but pictures will say a thousand words. She’s my pride and joy! Hopefully it’ll snow like it did last. She would love it!
I love the holiday season because it is a time dedicated to family. Special memories and traditions are made with my children. Even though we live in FL it can be such a cozt time of year. I so look forward to suggling up with them to read our special Christmas books and watch our favorite Christmas specials. This time reminds me of my childhood and i get so excited to pass these moments down to my 4 beautiful girls!!!
I love everything about the season. I love family, the food, the gift wrapping. I love watching all the Christmas movies they have out from White Christmas to Mrs. Claus and everything in between.
Christmas is exciting every year because you get to spend time with family and praise God. My daughter, who’s 5, daily talks about Christmas. We love that special time of year.
I am excited for this season to be celebrating Christ’s birth and also to be celebrating with my family, especially since last holiday season I was in the hospital for quite some time. That made it hard to get into the holiday when I finally did get to come home a week before Christmas. So I am excited to be making new memories with my family.
This will be the first year since we moved we will be having family to our house for the holidays, including a nephew I havent got to meet yet!
Celebrating the birth of Christ
I love the holidays and giving to others. I love watching my children during that time and teaching them the real meaning of Christmas and that during this time and always we should help those that are less fortunet than ourselves.
Time with family!
I love being able to spend time with family that we don’t see as often as I would like due to the fact that we live out of state!
I am looking forward to the holiday season because of the cold weather and all of the lights. Being with family is another reason I love the season. It is the best time of the year!
I love the Christmas season. We love to calendar all types of events. Family time is extra special as we center our thoughts and affections on the reason we celebrate…Christ Himself!
This will be my boy’s 2nd Christmas but last year he wasn’t old enough to really enjoy it. So i am really excited about decorating and telling him the story of Jesus’ birth. This is going to be a great Christmas!
I am most excited for the Christmas season because I just absolutely love the lights and sounds of Christmas. It just make me happy thinking about it!
I am excited about this upcoming holiday season because this is the first time i’ve had a job in a long time and i can show my family appreciation .
Everything about this holiday season will be exciting for my family. We are finally close enough to spend it with our families again. For the past 6 yrs we have lived half way across the country and just recently moved back home. So, this yr we are able to spend it with our families and it will also be my youngest son’s first Christmas!
My babies (they’re 1 and 3) and I are excited to pack our Samitarian Purse Operation Christmas Child boxes. We pray for the children receiving the boxes and that their hearts are open to the love and ministry that they will be receiving on Christmas. National collection week is coming up. It will be mid-November.
Two weeks off from work, which means I get to go home for Christmas!
I am looking forward to spending quality time with my kids this year during the holiday. After a very rough beginning this year in which my child was hospitalized for some time, I now look at things differently and realize the most important things are your family.
I’m finally getting a full-sized chrismas tree!
I’m most excited because we are changing our focus from getting to giving. Our kids will still be getting a couple special gifts, but the spirit of giving and Christ’s birth will be the main focuses….not that they weren’t before, but we’re just really focusing on those parts rather than a “list” of wants.
I am so excited because our 3 little boys will each be in a different stage for this holiday season. Our 6 year old is so excited because he remembers all of the fun that the holidays bring. We will see the the thrill and magic of the season in our 2 1/2 yr. olds eyes. And our 4 month old will be having his first Christmas… can’t wait for it all!!!!
I am excited about this upcoming Christmas season. I would love to win this box set and play it if for our cub scout pack during our Christmas party. As a leader, I’m trying to get across the true meaning of Christmas, as well as do several good things for our community; such as instead of having a gift swap, we are bringing in dog and cat food for our local animal shelter, and of course scouting for canned food for families in need. This box set would be enjoyed by lots of young children if I won.
Isaiah 55:6 Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you.
What a glorious time of the year, when we celebrate the Lord Jesus…..and my sister will be coming home from Iraq after being away for a year!!!!
I love the Fall season change. Even though I am in Florida and we don’t get much of it. But most of all I absolutely LOVE how the anticipation of Christmas brings the spirit of Peace, Love, and Joy to each and every person, whether they believe or not. During the Christmas holiday I am teaching my kids to pray for those that forget the true meaning of what we are celebrating.
I have a NEW nephew and Christmas has always been magical but now a whole new dimension I can’t wait to share this wonderful time of the year with him!!!
Always excited to tell the story of Jesus & the manger.
Jesus’ birthday….faith, family friends and food!! :)
I am most excited to see my family! The holidays is such a great time to be thankful for all the reasons we are so blessed, especially with the gift of HIS son!
I just love the Chirstmas season. Spending time with friends and family but the best part is remembering that Jesus Christ was born and that he came to save us from our sins
I love the chance to take a break from school and the regular routine to do fun things as a family and focus on God’s love for us in sending His Son.
I”m most excited about seeing my family. I only get to travel ‘home’ around the Holidays so it’s great to spend time with them again.
My kids are so excited about giving to others this year!! Seeing them exhibit the true Christmas spirit makes me look forward to the coming season!
Christmas is such a joyful time. We celebrate the birth of Christ and share our faith, fun, and food with family and friends. We also try to meet the need of others in the community.
The holiday season is when I see my family and that is always reason for excitement!
I love cooking and making delicious meals for my family for the holidays!
I love Christmas and this year will be great since my twin boys will be able to enjoy it with us. They’ll only be 15 months but it will be nice to have them walking around and enjoying the lights.
I can’t wait for December. There’s just something about Christmas that make the air feel magical. It makes you feel like anything is possible…and whether that’s because we know that’s true with the birth of Jesus or because of the little kid dreams still inside of us, we all begin to feel a little less selfish and a little more giving. I love seeing those I love happy for the holiday!
The economy hit us hard this year..my husband lost his job and we have had to readjust our lifestyle in a big way. This year I hope to be able to show my 2 boys (4 and 6) the real meaning of the season and not just the gift giving part. I felt like they were a little young before now, but now seems like the perfect time to show them that there doesn’t need to be a lot of stuff under the tree. Jesus and family are the true gifts! =)
I am most excited because I just graduated Culinary School and so I get to make Lots and Lots of Yummy goodies this year for all my wonderful family and friends!!!
It’s Jesus’ birthday of course! Also, my little boy can now say Jesus’ name too and will better appreciate Jesus’ birthday. He also asks to watch “Bob” (from Veggie Tales) on t.v.!
I’m looking forward to seeing the excitement in my children’s faces that make me feel like a child again myself.
I’m most excited about the upcoming Holiday season because it will be at my sisters house and she can do all the cooking this year!
I’m looking forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus, with family.
Getting to once again see my daughter’s face light up, and getting to experience our son’s first Christmas. We get to go back “home” to NC to see my family. Just being with family is truly the best part.
I cannot wait to spend the Holy season with my family.
I get to spend it with my extended family. Being military we move so much so our family Christmases haven’t included my siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in years. I’m so excited for this year.
I am looking forward to spending time with my family, and doing special things with my daughter…decorating, baking, singing…wonderful memories!
Last holiday season, my son was only 3 months old and our family just experienced the loss of my SIL 33wk pregnancy suddenly. so it was a rough 1st Christmas for my boy, but this year, he is older and can enjoy being around family and playing with relatives he rarely gets to see and enjoying opening gifts. Not to mention, we have Christmas eve service as well as Christmas day service, so that will be a new exciting thing for us to experience.
I am excited about sharing the joy of my Savior, Jesus Christ plus spending time with my loving family!
In the midst of darkness, Jesus the light has come!
I do not get to spend as much time as I would like with my two grandsons. But with everyone’s busy schedule I will be with my angels on Christmas day and hope to make that 24 hours last a lifetime. I have already told them I promised to make memories for them that day. Isaac is 4 and autistic and has been doing wonderfully in his school. We hope he can attend regular public school for kindergarden. Aiden will be having an implant to help with his hearing the last part of January. With their speical qualities they always have a smile on their face and that is like Christmas everyday.
I am most excited about Christmas because it’s the time we celebrate the birth of our precious Savior, Jesus!
Making memories with my two sweet babies.
I’m most excited for the holidays to spend time with my family and celebrate in our new house!
I am so excited about the upcoming holiday season because it gives me the chance to have my 3 daughters, their husbands and all 7 of my grandchildren in one place. What could be better!
This is the 1st Christmas that my daughter will really appreciate. I can’t wait to see her on Christmas morning.
I’m so excited for this year because my daughter is just starting to understand concepts like generosity and sharing. She’ll be three in January. My son will be a whole one year old in January and it’s been so much fun to see his excitement over little things that grown-ups forget to notice. Watching my little girl share with her baby brother and the simple joy he shows when she gives him her cracker or retrieves his dropped toys is the best! (And she loves Veggie Tales!)
My husband was in an accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down. He was a pastor who had an art degree. He used to illustrate all his sermons. Now he paints holding the brush in his teeth. He has painted four Christmas scenes that we hope to make into Christmas cards to sell to pay for medical bills. I am very excited to see if this goes over well. I have always loved Christmas. I am like a little child when it comes. I decorate every surface. I am excited to still have my husband here with me and my 3 sons this year. It will be a joyous Christmas.
We celebrate Jesus birth, spend time with family and eat lots of great foods. I love Christmas stories, looking at Christmas lights, Christmas movies and decorating the tree with the kids as we listen to Christmas carols in the background!!! Fun, fun, fun!!!
I just LOVE the christmas lights
I am most excited about enjoying the celebration of jesus’ birth!!
This Christmas season holds a lot of firsts for our family as well as milestones for not only our children but us as well. This is our first Christmas in our new and first home. It’s been a long road with so many turns but God has been able to use each as a testimony to His glory. I have several serious health issues that have forced our holidays to be a time of uncertainty and worry. We’ve seen friends come and go from our home church as well as a miscarriage last year that brought our holiday season to a less joyous time. It has allowed us to full understand and share with our children the true reason for the holiday and that has meant more to me than anything could have. This year we aren’t only in our first home but we are close to our church family allowing me to ease fears that I wont be in good enough health to make it to services. We will have all of our children here and their ages ensure a fun exciting time of worship. I’m looking forward to the season for many reasons this year but above all I’m looking forward to enjoying teaching our children why this time of year is so important and just being able to continue watching our children grow in the Lord.
I am most excited about this holiday season because my husband, age 47, myself, age 33, and our oldest son, Dakota 13 were all saved and baptized this last Sunday. What a better way to celebrate the upcoming holiday seaon with the wonderul nw outlook that is so true to the meaning of the season!!!
I am looking forward to having my son home for Christmas break. He is attending a high school 2 hours away. I miss seeing him everyday, so I am for the holidays to arrive.
Spending time with our family and not having to rush around. Making traditions with my children. So many things!!
For the first time in a little over 10 years I am back in my home state and get to spend the holidays with my family in Texas! We are a military family so we don’t always get to go home. I am looking forward to being with family this year!! I have two young daughters that are also looking forward to being with family they don’t get to see often!
I am excited about spending time with my family and celebrating the gift of our Savior
My favorite part of Christmas, is sitting in Church on Christmas Eve and celebrating the birth of our Savior. The music is AWESOME too! I sing in the choir and enjoy every minute of it!
I’m excited about celebrating Jesus’ birth as well as spending time with family!
The spirit among us-Jesus Christ-and the magic of the season.
I’m excited for creating lasting memories with my children
I’m SOOO excited about this coming Christmas season Its technically my daughter’s 2nd Christmas, but she was only 4 months old last year. This year she will be able to open presents, etc. I’d love to be able to give her the Drummer Boy DVD & CD!!!
i am excited to share more about the true reason for the season with my sweet three year old.. he gets so eexcited when we get new veggie tale movies too!.. :)
I just LOVE Christmas! I love the music, the movies, the TV specials, the cookies . . . Even spending time with extended familiy (in small doses). :)
I’m looking forward to spending time with my extended family, sitting around the living room with a fire going, sipping hot cocoa, telling funny stories, listening to Christmas music and celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior.
I am looking forward to decorating our home for Christmas. Last year we moved from the Midwest to the Southeast into our new home on December 23rd. Everything was in boxes and after spending a week in a hotel waiting to close on our house and having our vehicle broken into and having many very important douments stolen, it wasn’t a normal holiday season. At least my family was safe but I am looking forward to giving my daughter a traditional Christmas this year!
I am excited to spend time with my family during the holiday seasons—making memories that will last a lifetime!
I am so excited for the upcoming holiday season because it will be my first one as a mom with my twin boys!
I’m most excited for the upcoming holiday season because I don’t have to work for Thanksgiving OR Christmas and I can FINALLY spend both holidays with my family and children!!!!!!!!!! (Not that I mind spending the holidays with the kiddos in the hospital, but my youngest will almost be 3y, my oldest is 15y and my step-daughters are 10y and 11y and the holidays have always been a big deal to me!)
Celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I like all the lights and cozy nights playing games and watching movies by the fire!
I love spending the holiday with my family. And with 3 1/2 and 14 mo girls, it is fun to see them learn and enjoy the traditions I’ve always loved!
Our latest addition arrived in August and we are so looking forward to our first Christmas as a family of four. We also cannot wait to introduce him to our extended family over the holiday season.
Time with my family!
Nothing like the holiday season…
it’s all about giving, sharing and caring !!
I am most excited about sharing with mu kids the most wonderful time of the year- the time we celerate the arrival of a Savior who cmae to this Earth in human form to live with us, die for us and redeem us from sin. It was a HOLY NIGHT!
I love setting up the nativity with our son, sing Christmas carols and hymns, and snuggling during the Christmas program at church. Oh! And “Oh Holy Night” – my FAVORITE Christmas song….I get goosebumps just thinking about it.
love being home with our 3 kids and hubby being home from work for 2 weeksl!
I am most excited about this holiday season because I am finally going to spend it with my beautiful family. I have been deployed twice over chirstmas. I have an 8 y/old and 3 y/old. In addition, God has placed us in a fabulous duty station with an awesome church, that has been able to reach out to both of my special needs children. My 3 y/old can tell you the stories in the bible better than most adults. So I can’t wait for Christmas to teach her more of the bibles’ stories!!!
Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. Celebrating the birth of our Savior, the cheer that everyone seems to have, and the time spent with family and friends. I can’t wait!!
I just cannot wait to see the excitement in my children’s eyes. My oldest son is 3 now and he will be able to understand it a lot more this year and really get excited. He will actually be able to tell us what he wants from Santa too. My youngest will be 15 months so he’ll be able to open presents this year! I can’t wait!
I’m so excited for the Holidays because my little girl who will be 13 months old then will get to meet her cousin who will be 6 months for the first time! He was in the NICU for about 6 weeks when he was born so she didn’t get to see him and we live 800 miles away!!!!
Christmas is one of the best opportunities to teach little ones about Jesus!
Well, for starters, my girlfriend, Mandy and I have been together for two years on Halloween! Next, this is the first year in 10 years that I will not be traveling for the holidays. We are having friends over for Thanksgiving, a “Friends are Family too” get together. Then after Thanksgiving my future mother-in-law will be coming for a visit for the first time. During her visit the Youth Choir at church, that Mandy is the directer of, will be signing in service and then in then in the Christmas Concert @ First MCC. Then after she leaves my Mama and older sister are coming to visit! This is the first time they have ever!!! They will be here till right before New Years. Finally I will get to spend the New Year with the Love of My Life!!!!!
Waking my little 15 month old up on Christmas morning and celebrating the birth of Christ by attending worship at our home congregation as a family. :-)
Christmas morning with 2 little boys (3 and 1) is amazing. It being on Sunday and getting to go to Church and celebrate the birth of our Savior as a large family is even better. (Plus my boys adore Veggie Tales – have it in the van, all the CD players (even fall asleep to it at night) and all the DVDs and Netflix)
I am most excited because we bought a new home back in Sept. and I can’t wait to decorate it. I am trying hard not to pull out the Christmas music already.
1. Celebrating Jesus
2. Finding out if we have a baby girl or baby boy on the way?!
3. Watching the excitement of our 3 year old on Christmas morning!
4. Having Christmas at our new house where we now have room for all of our family!
I’m excited because this is the first Christmas that my 3 year old is really excited about! I love watching my kids on Christmas morning. They wake up so excited. Also, getting to spend time with family that you don’t get to see much throughout the year. Best of all, celebrating the birth of our savior!
love Thanksgiving and Christmas reminds me of when i was little with the cold nights and cider on the stove.
I am excited because after losing three children in second trimester miscarriages, this Christmas we have two miracles to hold!!!!! One thru birth and one thru adoption – so glad Joseph adopted Jesus and gave us the ultimate example of love!!!! I would love to share this with my little miracles.
I can’t wait to see the excitement of my 2 boys celebrating Christmas!
This year my son is very interested & excited about Thanksgiving & Christmas. Ok, more because he thinks the turkey (TOM) will make a nice pet & be thankful to see Christmas!
I look forward to spending time with all our kids with no school; just fun and family.
I am most excited about spending Christmas with my 9 mos old son and husband. It is also great that Christmas is on a Sunday and we can all remember what Christmas is all about and hopefully we will spend a little more time thinking about Jesus and not all about the gifts.
I am excited about baking cookies with my boys and spending time with the family!
I am most excited this Christmas to get to see my 9 month old granddaughter for the first time! My son has been in the military and far away and so this will be the first opportunity to see my first grandchild!
Most excited about making memories with my husband to reminisce about in the years to come.
So excited about celebrating Jesus!!! (and cinnamon, and nutmeg, and cloves, and…)
I am most excited because Christmas is a special time to remember the best gift ever given–Jesus. My children are now 4 and 6–old enough to start understanding this.
My 3 1/2 old granddaughter and my 5 year old grandson are the reasons that I am looking forward to Christmas. Their faces are too precious to watch!
This is our last Christmas as a family of FOUR, as we will welcome Baby #3 in February – our kids LOVE Veggie Tales and we are constantly looking for ways to incorporate more positive influences around Christmas. Our motto is “less glitz, more GOD!” :D
Since my husband is a special ed teacher at a middle school, he spends lots of extra hours working throughout the school year. We as a family are so blessed by the work he does, and I LOVE the holidays when school is out and we have him all to ourselves!!!
My 2 year old and I look forward to lots of cuddle time with Daddy and enjoying the holidays together as a family!
We are a fairly new Christian family. The longer we walk with Jesus and see more of God’s amazing grace and mercy upon our lives, our hearts are incredibly thankful for God’s divine plan at the Cross. We love Christmas because Jesus is our All-in-All.
Plain and simple the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ!
Most excited to save money while shopping!! :)
We live 18 hours away from family and this is the year we get to go home and be with family. It will be the last year we have all our aunts, uncles, cousins etc together as we have gotten too big! I love when my children get to play with their cousins and get to be with their grandparents. I also look forwad to see my oldest son grasp the true meaning of being thankful and that Christmas is about Christ not presents.
I am excited for Christmas this year because we are expecting our first child on December 17th! It will be the beginning of our new life as a family of three.
My husband is not saved and every year, I know that more and more seeds are planted as he observes Christians celebrating God and His Grace. God has blessed us in so many ways, I just know that my husband will come to realize that God not only exists but sent His son for all of us. Not sure who will realize it first, my son or husband, but either way, I know it is getting closer and what a joyous day that will be!
So excited to celebrate the birth of Jesus! My 5, 7, and 9 year olds make it so much fun too!
Our son loves the Veggies tales…and you know when mom and dad are singing the songs too, they must be great. We’d love to have a copy of their new video!
Our 2nd son will be born by then to enjoy the holidays with us :)
We are excited about the Holiday season because we have been remodeling for a year and we will be settled in our house during the holidays. God has been so good to us…we have had some rough spots but he helped us get through it! (LOVE YOUR SITE!)
I am most excited for the upcoming holiday season because I get to see family that I don’t often get to see. I love having dinner and spending time with all of my out-of-town family!
I am looking forward to my little man not being in the hospital this year for the holidays! YAY!!!!
I just love making special memories and new traditions with my (rather new) family. Plus all of the good baking…
We LOVE Veggie Tales in our house and can’t wait to buy the new DVD. The reason I am most excited about Christmas this year is 1) bc we are expecting our second baby and 2) because of building and creating new memories and traditions with our sweet family. Our little boy is two and we love to create new fun things for us to do together!
I am really looking forward to this Christmas, because our family have really been thru some challenges. even this week my Daddy has been in and out of the hospital dealing with seizures and dialysis, I also take care of my mama and my three year old and also my other son (my hubby) lol. But i know more that anything it makes you realize how much God has Blessed us
After being kept from us for over a year, my step daughter gets to spend Christmas with us, and her two sisters are so happy.
I am most looking forward to Christmas morning when my girls open their presents and are so excited
I am looking forward to seeing my sister for the first time in three years! Can’t believe it’s been that long, but we always seem to miss each other at our parent’s house over the holidays. She’s in FL, I’m in SC and our parents are in GA.
Thankful to celebrate the birth of Jesus w/ my fam!!!! :)
I am always excited for Christmas because the whole family comes to my house. We usually all get together about twice a year.
I’m excited b/c my daughter is at the age to be excited about the holidays. :-D
I am most exctied about this upcoming christmas season cause it is another opportunity to spread God’s Word when i hear someone say they do not like the holidays i have to remind them what christmas is all about it is not about the gifts it is Jesus’s birthday it is when we celebrate the birth of our lord and savior. We are very thankful for the precious gift that god has given us on this day, and we love to have special time with our family and our friends and we love to decorate and eat ;)
I am looking forward to spending time with my husband and kiddos as we celebrate such a magical season. So thankful for what this season means to us…..the GREATEST gift ever of Jesus Christ! Oh yeah, and we are not traveling on Christmas day this year! :)
Can’t wait until December to go to Florida and spend the holidays with my family!!!
Soooooo excited!!!!
I am looking forward to hearing my daughter sing in the choir for Christmas Mass!
My husband and I are both active duty military, which makes it hard to get home to visit the family. I am excited to go to PA to spend the holidays with my family!
I am looking so forward for the Holidays, especially my children who have never seen snow and since we moved from Florida.I miss my Family overseas and especially my husband R.I.P Christmas ‘the same anymore without him.But our memorys we will cherish on each holiday
For the first time ever my husband and his brother, wives, grandkids and grandparents will all be spending Christmas together…14 people under one roof. We are all so excited!!!
I absolutely LOVE the christmas season and all of its festivities! I live four hours away from my family so I love going home and getting to spend time with my family, friends, and church family!
Our baby girl is due in a few weeks! We get to spend the holiday as a family of 3!!!
I am most excited for the special family time. I also teach preschool and I am so excited for our Christmas program. I love teaching all the little ones about the true meaning of Christmas! Most of the kids at our school are church members but this year we have several that don’t attend a church. The kids always love our program so much and I can’t wait for them to be able to share the message with their own families in such a fun way!
I would love to win this set so that I could give it to a mission at our church that takes up toys and other items for needy families in our community for Christmas.
This will be our daughters first Holiday season! I am so thankful for her and that my husband who is currently deployed, will be home in time for her first Christmas!
I’m excited about this Christmas because we moved 6 months ago, and now my entire family lives in the same state. We can celebrate with our family and all the in-laws, all in one day instead of taking turns.
Christmas is truly the most wonderful time of the year because we have so many opportunities to teach our children about Christ and what His birth means for us eternally. My children have just recently started enjoying Veggie Tales (ever since they got the CD version of “Larry Boy and the Fib from Outer Space” from Chick-Fil-A). I know they would LOVE this new DVD and CD, and it would be another tool for us to use to guide our kids to Christ!
I love seeing my kids so excited at our birthday party for Jesus!
Having grandchildren has really made Christmas feel more special.
Winning this DVD/Cd set would be especially special for my two little boys who LOVE the Veggie Tales. These stories are super at teaching youngsters about life long values. Some of these movies have been shared by my children’s grandparents that live many about 12 hours away. This would give them a special connection with their grandparents at such an important time of year.
This will be my grandson nathan’s first christmas and there is always magic in our house during the holidays….God has blessed this family in so many ways…my oldest daughter adopted a little girl with downs syndrome and she is such a blessing she has taught us so much about life we would not have known without her and i am sure they would all enjoy this set.
I’m most excited to see my son’s first experience of Christmas aware of his surroundings! He was an infant last year, and seeing both my kids enjoying the holiday will be awesome!
We live in Kentucky. All of our children and grandchildren live in Oregon or Arizona. This will be the first time we will be with our kids during the holidays. We will be in Oregon for Thanksgiving and Arizona for Christmas. Looking forward to sharing the Christmas story with the little ones. Want to make sure they know the real meaning of the season!
I love being able to spend time with our families, celebrating the birth of our savior, talking about the past and all the fun we have had and the joy of Christmas for my kids! Cant wait for Christmas and we LOVE Veggie Tales! :)
I am most excited for the upcoming holiday season because I will be getting the most precious gift. I will be adopting my step son as my own. This will be my first christmas as his legal mommy. We have recently turn our son onto Veggietales. He never got to see anything like these when he lived with his biological mother.
Being able to spend time with my family. The only time of the year i get to see everyone all at once.
I’m looking forward my daughter’s return from overseas.
Im so excited for the holiday season because we have two new twin baby boys in the family! What better reasons to be thankful for time spent with family and celebrating Christmas!
MY son will be 18mo this Christmas, so I know things will be much more fun. He loves ripping into things so gifting should be interesting. I want to start some Christian traditions to explain to him the true meaning of Christmas, this movie and CD sound like the perfect start.
MY son will be 18mo this Christmas, so I know things will be much more fun. He loves ripping into things so gifting should be interesting. I want to start some Christian traditions to explain to him the true meaning of Christmas, this movie and CD sound like the perfect start.
I am most excited about this holiday season because it brings my family closer together and reminds us all of the real meaning of Christmas and how blessed we are that we have one another and Jesus in our lives. Christmas is meaningless without Christ :)
I love Christmas and I want my children and grandchildren to know the real meaning of Christmas and we try every year to make Jesus Birthday so special with the Happy Birthday JESUS cake. We also enjoy the good food we always have and gifts- it really is a special time for our family!!
I am most excited about Christmas because My husband and I going to be able to “teach” about Christmas this year. Our kids are 3 and 1 1/2, so we can’t wait to explain to our 3 yr. old about what Christmas really is and what it means for us! We’re also excited about setting up our own “family traditions” like reading Christmas stories every night, having a Happy Birthday Jesus party, and donating some of our toys for kids who don’t have any!!!
Can’t wait for this Christmas to spend it with my family and new baby girl Brooklynn born Sept 15th ;-)
I am most excited because I can spend time with my family. Everyone is healthy. We are so blessed.
I’m most excited about sharing the TRUE meaning of Christmas with my children. We have a 3 year old and a 5 month old. My 3 year old is already learning who Jesus is!
I’m so excited for this holiday season because our granddaughter will be old enough to join in on the Christmas celebrations and to top it off, we have a new grandbaby coming right before Christmas!
The holiday season brings hope for a better future. It is a reminder of the great miracle of the birth of our Saviour.
I have a special needs child that was given only days to live so every Christmas that she’s here in our presence is a Christmas present from Jesus..I love Christmas for what it stands for, we celebrate our birthdays, I think we should celebrate the birthday of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords..Thank you and an early Merry Christmas to you.
I’m excited to once again think about the love of God for this world in sending His Son to Earth.
I am excited about the upcoming holiday because it is a celebration of our Savior. Also my grandaughter will be 1 1/2 this year and even through with the economy there is not much money to spend we are going to do things to create memories instead of so many gifts. As a child my grandparents and even till this day, when are family gathers for the holidays, we have a tradition of reading the Christmas story before any presents can be open. I intend to start that with my grandchildren. I can’t wait to sit and read her the Christmas story this year and tell her about the birth of Jesus and begin our baking with nana memories.
My son was born two days after Christmas so I am always excited to have Christmas and celebrate the birth Jesus as well as the birth of my precious son.
my grandson will almost be 2 this christmas and he will be so excited i’m sure.I am thankful God has been good to our family and I want our grandson to know the real meaning of Christmas!
I am most excited about this holiday season because it is my first holiday season with my baby boy Hunter. What a blessing!!
I am most excited about this holiday season because this year as we celebrate Christ, my husband and I will also be celebrating our son, our most precious gift from God. We began an adoption process 2 years ago and the paperwork just became final a few short months ago. Although we were fortunate to have our son in our home for his first two Christmases, our hearts will be at peace this holiday season knowing that our son is now officially our “forever” son.
I love, love, love Christmas! Its when we celebrate Jesus with family and friends. We get to snuggle around the fire in warm cozy blankets, drink hot cocoa, watch the lights on the tree and think about what our Savior did for us. He died so that we may live! I love Christmas!!!
Because I love all the memories I make with my kids: picking out a tree, singing Christmas songs, decorating, showing them how to be generous to those who have less than they do, and just spending a lot of time with them!
I’m most excited to see the holiday season through my sons eyes. They are 2 and 6 this year, such perfect ages to live the full magic of Christmas! I love sharing the experiences of decorating, making all the yummy treats, shopping, seeing lights, and waiting for Santa! I can’t wait to see their faces Christmas morning and to have a quiet moment to really explain why we celebrate this exciting time each year, for God gave us a gift around this time so long ago.
I LOVE CHRISTMAS! It is my favorite time of year, with the parties, giving, and decorations, not to mention the amazing and fattening goodies that I love to make every year. This year, I am especially looking forward to Christmas for several reasons. My family and I are very close, but I am currently living 3 states away from them with my husband and 2 small children. I look forward to all of us being together to celebrate Christmas and for my kids getting to spend time with their Grandparents and cousins! I am also looking forward to this season bc my son turns 1 on the 18th! Last year, 1 week before Christmas, we were blessed with our precious little boy and it made for a Christmas we will never forget. Because he was born so close to Christmas, we were unable to travel home for the holidays and can’t wait to do so this year. Not only will we celebrate Christ’s birthday, but my sons as well!
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. My husband and I are both teachers and spend a great deal of time at work and it is so nice to just spend time as a family (or two babies- age 4 and 7) and really reflect on the true reason for the season.
Our twins are 2 and will start to understand a little bit more about Christmas. Can’t wait to see their excitement Christmas morning! And, they would LOVE the DVDs. We are big Veggie Tales fans.
I love Christmas! My little girl is 3 years old and I am excited to teach her the importance of giving to others.
I am excited because it means more time with my family. We have had a lot of close calls with grandparents lately and I am thankful they are still here to spend the holidays with!
Christmas is my favorite time of year and this year I am expecting my first grandchild, Dec. 19. What better way to start teaching him about God.
Its been 6 yrs since Ive spent the Holidays with my family and this year thanks to Jesus… My entire family (all 12 of them) will travel for the first time from Costa Rica to our home to spend the Holidays with us!!! We are all so excited about it :-)
spending time with the family decorating, baking, etc.
I’m looking forward to the fact that my daughter is now 2 and we can really enjoy all the festivites with her.
My 3 year old is a big brother the first time this Christmas! I am so excited for my boys to share in the joy of this precious season, even with a limited budget this year.
I’m most excited about my brother being home from studying abroad and having quality family time!
I am so excited to do Operation Christmas Child! We have missed the dead line the past few years I am excited to get some boxes and fill them up for children who need them! I love watching the nativity story with my 2year old son and husband!
I am so excited to spend Christmas with my three children for the first time in my own home.
I am most excited to just be with family and celebrate the fact that we can be together and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. My siblings and I are very close, but we are 2 hour away from one another and don’t see much of each other. So it will be nice to all be in one place for a few days :-)
I am most excited to watch my 10 nieces and nephews experience Christmas. I am also looking forward to putting together Operation Christmas Child boxes, listening to Christmas music (my smaller nephews love to be the drummers from Little Drummer Boy song) and the smell of pine trees!!
I am most excited because the chances of us getting snowed in this year are extremely low. While I love snow, needing to have your driveway plowed every evening and every morning is most expensive and annoying.
I love slowing down a little and focusing on family more than usual. It is always meaningful!
Christmas is the most special of all times for me. I have two lovely granddaughters and they both love veggie tales. The oldest (now 9) watched them and now her 3 year old sister loves them. My wish this holiday season is to be able to watch them wake up to Christmas this year. I haven’t seen the little one yet on that morning but it was so much joy as I watched the oldest one when she was smaller.
Im most excited about having my entire family here for the holidays. Yay!
I love the holidays, and getting to spend time with family that I dont get to see that often. We are also getting a new house right after noon years so I am really looking forward to it.
I’m excited because we’re going to my parents’ for Christmas–the first time in several years!
I love the feeling of the Christmas season–of decorating and baking with my two girls. There is something about having young children that just puts the magic back into the holiday season.
Looking forward to seeing the happiness our little girl gives & receives during the holidays….pure joy.
our family is growing up and living all over the Americas. So the holidays this year will be a time for us all to be together celebrating our Jesus’ birth.
I’m excited to spend time decorating and beginning Christmas traditions with my 2 boys…one of whom will be celebrating his first Christmas!
I love to celebrate Christmas with our kids – trying to see things through their eyes gives a whole new appreciation to Christmas. We try to keep the focus on Jesus while we make memories together.
Because I get to celebrate with my little miracle baby! Seeing his joy is pure joy for me.
I am most excited for my first Christmas as a wife, mother, and homeowner (I had a busy 2011)! My husband and son have been the biggest blessing and I can’t wait to experience the holiday season in a brand new way!!!
We are excited to focus on family and God this season. We love to make a cake (me and the girls) for Jesus’ birthday, and the guys eat it. =)
I love giving gifts and am already looking forward to watching everyone open their presents! ;)
I am most excited to enjoy old traditions and create new ones with my girls this holiday season!!
To teach my kids that Christmas is about Jesus and how much God loves us
I love the atmosphere at Christmas, especially the excitement of the children. I love baking goodies with my boys and singing Christmas carols. It is such a special time of year celebrating the birth of my Lord and Savior!
I am excited about sharing hot chocolate with my daughter while we watch the Polar Express!
I can’t wait to get into the Christmas Spirit!! Snow snow snow and lucious gingerbread!!!! I just love Christmas!
I recently changed my name from Miss. to Mrs. I am looking forward to making memories with my new family and husband :)
I am excited for the warmth and coziness that the holidays bring. Spending extra time with family, celebrating the real reason for the season, and seeing the joy on my toddlers face. Also, starting traditions with my family that my mom and dad always did with us. I just love it!!
I love the Holiday Season because it is a time of family get togethers and for celebrating Jesus’ birthday.
I love making Christmas Day brunchnd being with my family.
Last Christmas my son watched “St. Nicholas” over and over. It really helped him understand giving instead of only receiving, especially at Christmas. I’m really excited to help encourage that this year. He’s already excited about giving all of his friends presents. I’m also excited about the Christmas music, tree, etc… and Christmas morning this year is going to be amazing. We’re giving our 3 year old son his first bike. We have so much to look forward to. We’re also hoping to find out that we’re expecting soon and we’ll be sharing that Christmas day with our families.
I love Christmas and being with family. This time of year is so special to know we can celebrate the birth of our Savior.
we are in our new house and will be celebrating the holidays with much more room! Excited to make new memories here for our daughters!
I love the CHRISTmas season because we celebrate Christ birth. Spending time with family and listening to the story. Veggie Tales is awesome for the children learning about Jesus! My favorite time of the year!
I’m excited about being with family and watching my kids Christmas morning.
Thanksgiving to me is family getting together and relaxing without the rush of Christmas. It’s the beginning of planning for the season for Christmas. Christmas is enjoyed more then with the grand children and family enjoying the Christmas movies along with their favorite Disney and other children movies.
I am so excited about the The Little Drummer Boy DVD and O Holy Night CD. I know a little drummer boy who will love to find this special gift under the tree. He happens to be my 3-year old grandson. His dad was a drummer in his college band and his uncle is now a drummer in his college band. This boy is already a natural at drumming and anyone who visits gets to play in his band complete with sandbuckets for band hats. To combine our love of VeggieTales and all things drumming makes for a very special gift. Thank you in advance for providing wholesome entertainment to our children during a time when the choices are so few.
I’m glad that my family will be together, hopefully healthy and happy!
Our daughter is a Christmas Eve baby and we are trying to show her the true meaning of Christmas!!
Christmas time in our house is a time of celebrating Jesus our savior as well as celebrating bringing our second son home from the Nicu after being in there for 96 days. We cherish the memories we make year round however this time of the year holds a very special place in our heart!
I am mosted excited for this years upcoming holidays b/c last year my family was facing some uncertainty for our future & we are now facing a new, bright future. We have also welcomed a new vey unplanned baby to the family within the last few months!!!
I can’t wait for Christmas because my oldest is finally old enough to understand what is going on. I can’t wait to teach him the true meaning of Christmas.
We look forward to every holiday. We have a son that is autistic and was diagnosed at the age of 3. He never understood why we did the things we did on holidays. He has come such a long way and it has been such a struggle the past 3 years. I love the fact that he now understands holidays. But esp. Christmas is his favorite because he can fix cookies for Santa, leave the reindeer food and he loves the Night Before Christmas and nows it by heart. Oh and we can’t forget papa’s Christmas lights which is pretty spectacular. Happy Holidays everyone.
I’m most excited this holiday season because my little girl will be almost 2. She will understand Christmas more this year and I can’t wait to decorate the tree and sing new songs with her. She absolutely loves Veggie Tales and I know she’ll love hearing those songs and dancing away!
I am so excited because this will be the first Christmas that my little boy is really into everything! He is 2 and everywhere we go he is pointing out all of the lights and decorations. He is so fun and this Christmas will be lots of fun with him! He would love the Veggie Tales set! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Christmas! And I am so excited to share it with my 4 year old son again this year. I love that all the world celebrates Jesus!!
I’m most excited to pass on family traditions to my two boys (ages 3 & 2) and to create new family traditions as well. They are at the great age where everything is magical and possible…I just love every minute!
I just love the holiday season because I get so much more time with my family! The kids are out of school, my husband has vacation days to use. It’s the perfect time to snuggle up as a family and watch a DVD. We love Veggie Tales!!
We love Christmas…the smells, sounds, and seeing Christmas through my daughters eyes. Celebrating Jesus’ birthday with our birthday cake on Christmas eve!
I am excited for the real joy of Chirstmas celebrating Christ birth! And I also cannot wait to see the smile on my boys face when they see what Santa brought them!
I love CHRISTmas! I love everything about sharing the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! I have 2 daughters and my youngest just turned 3 and she love Veggietales. She had a veggietales birthday party and she walks around the house singing the theme song.
Looking forward to travel, family, good food and celebrating Christmas!
Music, lights, and the reason for the season!
We live so far away from our family…My side is in South Africa and I don’t think I have been with them for Christmas since we moved here 6 years ago. My husband’s side lives further North and I LOVE that every Christmas we get to travel up and spend time with them. My daughter is getting old enough now to get excited about it too!
Looking forward to seeing my 2 cousins who are pregnant at the same time as me!
Excited to be with family!
Family is going to Disney, Can’t Wait
I love the love and hope that this season brings. The joy on my children’s faces and the renewed love of Gods prescious gift.
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. I just wish it would last longer!
My baby sister and her family are coming for Christmas. I haven’t seen her or her kids for 2 years! Can’t wait!!
my grandmother only gets to see her great grandkids once a year and she will be joining us for Christmas this year. We make homemade playdoh and all sorts of goodies. the best part is cooking with her and my 3 year old
my grandmother only gets to see her great grandkids once a year and she will be joining us for Christmas this year. We make homemade playdoh and all sorts of goodies. the best part is cooking with her and my 3 year old
Spending quality time with our family!!
I am most excited about decorating my first live Christmas tree this year!!
Looking forward to spending Christmas with my grandchildren. I love family time!
Being able to celebrate and thank God for sending us a Savior! But more importantly than that is the fact what the Baby Jesus was sent here to do – give his life for complete and total payment for the sins of the world – so that now when God looks at me and all believers through Jesus, He sees perfection, which is His standard for entry into heaven. Thank God for giving us the free gift of eternal life through Jesus!
I am looking forward to the holiday season because this will be my first holiday with my new child. She is a gift from God and brings out the real reason to celebrate the season. She brings out the holiday cheer, family ties, and everything great about the season.
Can’t wait to see my two year old grandson as he gets excited seeing all the lights and decorations. I would love to have the Veggie Tales movies for him this year!!
My girls are now old enough to enjoy the season and all the fun activities there are to participate in.
Can’t wait to be with family! LOVE Christmas!
I’m glad that I’m blessed to be a live and have a home for my family and friends to enjoy each other with lot of love for this holiday.
JESUS!! JESUS!! JESUS!!
We’re staying home for Christmas this year! I’d love to win these–the kids I care for would really like them!
love to create some new traditions with our family while continuing our old traditions…enjoy talking to my kids about Jesus’ birth and creating wonder for them in light of that
I love the holidays! I am looking forward to time spent with family! There is nothing like gathering together and laughing at the old days and jokes, etc. I cannot wait!!!
I’m most excited to see the holidays through my 6yr old’s eyes. She sees things with such wonder!
I’m so excited to celebrate this holiday season with my 2-year-old niece! She will really be able to enjoy the family get-togethers and of course gifts! I love her so much and would love to share this Veggie Tales giveaway with her. The Little Drummer Boy is one of my favorite Christmas tales!
Nothing better than ways to teach your children to worship the newborn king!
We are REALLY looking forward to Christmas this year. My husband and I have a 6 year old son who is all boy and then some. We always set up and decorate our tree as a family with hymns, hot chocolate and talking about the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It has become a wonderful tradition. This year we think he may finally be ready to handle our ‘real’ ornaments…which are breakable…dare we give it a try?!?! I know HE says he is ready for it, but am I?
I love watching my kids take it all in!
I love sharing Christmas with my 8 children and 4 grandchildren-two new ones this year!
I am excited for the upcoming holiday season because it is a great chance to share with our kids the real reason for the season. And how important it is to share our love for family and God.
It will be the first Christmas for our first grandchild. It will bring back so many memories of when our son was a small child and all the joy children bring to the season.
I’m excited to celebrate Christmas with my 4 1/2 year old daughter (and hubs too of course!) We love the music, the pretty lights and of course celebrating the birth of Christ! It’s such a great time of year!
We are all excited about Christmas this year, not only is it to celebrate the birth of Christ but our sweet boy will be 2! He will have so much fun with family and friends. Thanks for a chance to win!
I am most excited about this upcoming holiday season because it is my son’s first Christmas. I know that he won’t really get what is going on but I am having so much fun finding cool presents and bits and pieces for his stocking. I can’t wait to play with all his new stuff with him.
Whenever I think of the holiday season I get a warm feeling of Christ’s love inside of me. It makes me want to love on my family more and truly share more of Christ’s sacrificial love to all that will hear.
My son is 6 and I love decorating the house with him and celebrating the birth of Jesus!
We are moving closer to family and will be with them for Christmas. My children will be so excited to be with Grandma and Grandpa!
I’m most excited about this Christmas, because my husband and I are trying to get pregnant (I think I might be!!) and we are excited about sharing that with family Christmas day.
I love how people become more cheerful, joyful…the music, the love, the joy of watching children in excited anticipation. My fav time of year!!!
I’m most excited because my hubby will be home from deployment and here for the holidays! Yeah!
I don’t think I can narrow down my excitement for Christmas season. My top is because our 3rd son is due in mid November so we are expecting an amazing and crazy Christmas with our 3 sons :)
I am in awe of what God does & I appreciate Jesus that much more on is birthday.
I am excited this year because I will become a new grandmother next month and also my other two children which are 5 and 7 are extremely excited…they love church and God and love to celebrate his birth
I can’t wait for the holidays this year. For the first time we get to have the whole family over to our house for a change this year. My daughter is finally old enough now to really enjoy Christmas. Every year I am more and more blessed.
I look forward to sharing the birth of my Savior with family.
I am excited to be with our family and my husband who travels and works a good bit so it’s nice to be all together for an extended period of time.
Christmas is always a special time, but this year my daughter is 3 so she is really starting to understand the world around her, so it will be even more fun. This will be her last Christmas as an only child, as her baby brother or sister will be arriving in February. “if it doesn’t have a tail, it’s not a monkey” is our favorite VT song right now!
I get excited about Christmas every year, but the best part of it all is watching my 3 children get ecstatic about the Christmas season. I am looking forward to the decorating, the baking, the gift-giving, and all the little Christmas details!
Christmas is my favorite time of year. I look forward to spending it celebrating with my family, friends and church. Remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season!
The holiday season is one time of the year when I can get both boys and their families home together. I look forward to it all year. It is so much more that presents. Christmas songs, church services, advent, time to remember the greatest gift of all, Jesus who was born, lived and died for me
I’m excited for the chance to enjoy my family a little more during the holidays.
I am excited to be able to spend some time with family that we don’t get to see very often!
Im most excited for this holiday season because it’s my daughter’s first “interactive” Christmas – as she will be 18 months old. It will also be right around the time that my step-son comes from Mexico to visit and meets his baby sister for the first time.
It will be amazing :)
It is good to know there is something out there that still shows what the true meaning of Christmas
Christmas is my favorite time of year, I love going home to see family and I get to see snow while I’m there. Next year we’ll have a little one and I know traveling will be harder and I would like to have Christmas at home with our daughter, but I’m just not sure about a Florida Christmas without snow.
Thanks for all you do Jenny! Hope you and your family have a fantastic Christmas!
family
I can’t wait to celebrate the birth of my Savior Jesus Christ. We should celebrate Him every day but on this one day, set aside even more time for Him. He is the reason why Christmas is so special. I have another reason to be excited about Christmas this year. To see my 5 yr old & 1 1/2 year old celebrate Christmas together. While Christmas music is playing and a fire burning, my husband, my sons and I will drink hot chocolate and hang ornaments on the tree. I can feel the LOVE & memories already. :)
I am so excited to spend this Christmas with my family. Im extremely thankful for our good health and the time we will spend together.
I am finally done with school and for the first time I will be able to spend the whole Christmas time with family where with nursing school I was away from them. Also, I will be just starting my job, getting my first check around Christmas. Plus I will be able to be home for my Nephew’s 2nd birthday and to be around when my sister-in-law announces she is pregnant for the first time to the rest of the family.
I look forward to spending time with my family, especially seeing my kids’ faces Christmas morning.
We’re living closer to family this holiday season so we’re looking forward to spending it with them!
Christmas is the best holiday of the year! Jesus is the reason for the season! Love being with family and friends and sharing our love for each other!
What I love about the CHRISTMAS season are many things….Family being together, first and foremost. The Christmas Eve Childrens’s Mass where the children’s choir sings, the children act in the LIVE NATIVITY and the Church is so full it’s usually standing room only!! Christmas cookies, Christmas cards, neighbors stopping by and the excitement of Baby Jesus’s arival!!! (oh and Santa too)
It’s the second Christmas for my daughter and she will have so much fun opening presents!
More time to spend with my family and especially kids.
This will be my first Christmas with my daughter
I look forward to celebrating our Savior’s birth with my family. He’s the reason for OUR season! :)
I look forward to continuing traditions, making new memories, and celebrating the greatest gift of all… Jesus Chist! Showing my children the best gift of all is God’s Son makes each Christmas the most special!

I love being able to spend extra time with my family! We are flying our niece in from FL for Christmas this year so looking forward to sharing all the special winter activities that TN has to offer! My is turning 6 next week…Christmas is more exciting with each passing year as we can share in his excitment!
I am so excited for this Christmas! For one, my youngest will be three this year, which is such an exciting age… it’s like they are experiencing Christmas for the first time.
I am also excited because I started leading our elementary aged ministry at our church in April. Over the months, we have (and will continue) to teach about the love of Jesus and the gift that God gave us in His Son. For our Christmas service, we will continue that message but will also teach that we can give gifts back to God too by giving our time, praying, reading the Bible (so we can know Him), by serving others (because God loves us all), and by loving everyone. I am very excited to be able to present this message to our children and see what wonderful things transpire as we give our gifts to God. We love VeggieTales and would love to add this wonderful collection to our library!
I can’t wait to spend our first Christmas married and in our new house!
I am so excited about the upcoming holidays because I am now a grandmother! I’m only 40 and have a child at home myself, but through marriage I have gained 2 sweet grandchildren. They know nothing about Jesus and His love, and have never been to church. I cannot wait to share the Christmas story with these boys and take them to church when they visit. God is soooooo good to bless me with a new family!
Jean
Im looking forward to it because I lost my “Daddy” 3 years ago a week before Thanksgiving ( along with 3 other major life changes) and this is the first year that I think I can enjoy it since then… took ALOT of work to get to this point because he loved Christmas at my house ….Still miss him but am finally ready to enjoy holidays again! ! :)
So excited to see my daughter enjoying the season more and more as she gets older. She’s 3 1/2 this year, so there’s going to be more excitment and understanding as we celebrate Christ’s birth!
Our precious baby girl was born three days after Christmas last year, so I can not wait to celebrate the birth of our Saviour with her this year. I’m also really excited about seeing our three year old interact with her and share our traditions with her!
We have a 3.5yo and a 13mo, and have just moved into a new house. Especially since we don’t have a ton of money these days, I’m super excited about trying to teach our boys about GIVING to other people instead of getting. (He hasn’t learned the whole consumerism of Christmas yet, thankfully; he only knows December 25 is Daddy and Jesus’s birthday!)
Halloween – Im trick or treating for the 1st time since I was little. The day before Im going to a nursing home that I go to every Friday. And im going with a little girl to neighborhoods.
Thanksgiving – My Grandmothers coming into Town! So im so excited.

I love the smell of christmas dinner, Christmas candles, and cookies! I love christmas trees all lit up, below gifts of love on christmas morning. I love taking my Granddaughters to see the christmas plays and nativity scenes. Christmas was always my Grandmothers favorite holiday, and she always made it so special for us, and I hope we are doing the same for our Grandchildren as well.
Love spending time with family, making cookies with my kids, and decorating. I love the Christmas season! :)
Looking forward to spending the holidays with family this year.
My daughter was born Dec 22nd, 2009 so every Christmas is a little more special because we celebrate 2 births-the birth of our Lord and Savior and the birth of our beautiful princess!

I’m most excited because more people tend to soften their hearts around this time of year and extend more acts of kindness and charity towards others. Plain and simple we all “behave” a little more as we should.
Excited because I have been saving with my Christmas Club account and don’t feel like we will have to go into debt for Christmas this year! With three kids, it is going to be fun sharing gifts this year.

I am so excited about this holiday season, mainly Christmas. I moved to Kentucky from Texas May 2010, away from all of my family. I saw my family last Christmas and will see them again this Christmas. I have not seen my parents or grandparents in a year, so I’m very excited to see them!
I’m excited to be able to travel to see family that we don’t get to see very often!
I have a 3 and a 4 yr old and they are at the very important age to both be excited about christmas and to understand the real meaning of it….this dvd would be great to have and share ;) thx for all that you do
I’m not going to lie and give some noble reason…I am looking forward to not having to get up at 5:00 in the morning. I love my job (teaching math to 7th graders), but would love it more if I didn’t have to get up so early :)
We are huge Veggie Tales fans, have been since I was a little girl and now my kids love their movies and songs as well. We are loving the upcoming holiday season. My children ages 5, 3, and 1 are just beginning to understand the true meaning of Christmas and it’s so much fun teaching and learning along with them.
I am excited for the upcoming holiday season because of many reasons. I am a new mother (well she’s 2 now) and I am struggling. When I say that i mean STRUGGLING. I live at home with my mother and step father (thank the lord) – and they are my blessing. I had a very wild “teen/early 20’s” years and never really understood how my actions could affect others until I had my own child. I moved down here (w/my family) 2 years ago from NY. I was used to the fast life and fast money. August 31, 2009 is the day I was born. When the lord breathed air into my daughters lungs it was like I was given life as well. I since moving down here, have gained and lost everything. I gained a self respect that I had no idea even existed before her. A type of pride that comes from staying up until 1-2a.m. matching coupons to Southernsavers shopping lists (smile) to make sure that I can provide her with the best. I went back to school and graduate on wednesday. I am the type of honest, hardworking, loving woman I would be proud to know, and my daughter brought me back to god, and I strengthen my relationship with him daily. At the same time, I recently lost my job, my car needs new everything, my parents paid the last 2 weeks of daycare (so that I can finish school), they (for the first time since her birth) bought diapers (which is crushing to a parent to not be able to provide) and I lost child support (I don’t know where my daughter’s father is)! So I know I’m rambling, but, I said ALL that to say this…….although this christmas will be the leanest yet, I believe that this christmas am truly embracing the spirit, the essence of the holidays and that is family togetherness, love and looking past the needs of myself in my dire situation, and helping the man next to me in whatever way I can – to help him/her out of theirs! Thank you for having this website and helping people like me get by in times of my struggle. You, my friend Jenny, are a blessing to me
First and most important I am excited to be celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Secondly I get very excited to be able to see all of my family, and to spend time with them over a wonderful meal, church service and then Christmas Eve at my parents.
I’m looking forward to spending the holidays with my 3 little boys, and for the first time in 3 years, not being pregnant on Christmas! :)
We are so excited to spend the holidays with our family and to see How special Christmas is to our wonderful kids. At age 3 and 1 everything is so wonderful and the are so pure and thankful. Our daughter loves veggie tales, she is always singing the theme song.

I bet this is a great video! Thanks for giving us a chance to win it!
I am most excited about our first real year to teach our little one about the birth of Christ! I can’t wait to see his face as he understands about what a miracle that baby was!
Now from a Southern Savers standpoint….I am most excited about my first year to use what I’ve learned from this website to be smart with my money at Christmas! What a blessing it will be to enjoy Christmas without blowing my budget! I am armed with coupons and lots of deals! Thanks Southern Savers!!
The holidays are a fun but busy time with modern demands. But on Thanksgiving and Christmas days, stores close, family gathers, and the world stops for a moment. Time is spent staying warm, sharing stories, eating delicious foods, focussing on what is important and making memories. Somehow the kids behave without effort and all I want to do is remember the day forever.
I am excited about the holiday season because this is the time when I really splurge on my kids for all of the hard work and good behavior they have had for the year. They get little gifts throughout the year but nothing compares to Christmas. I am also looking foward to spending time with my family.
I am super excited about getting to celebrate the first Christmas with my baby boy. I can’t wait to see his reaction to all the festivities of the season.
I am most exctied about Christmas Eve at my in-laws. Everyone makes a special effort to be there and it is a very special time that I hope my children will always remember.
My kids LOVE Veggie Tales. So excited that they are excited for Jesus’ birthday! Can’t Wait.
I love to see my 8yr olds face light up at Christmas. We love celebrating Christmas and Jesus birth. I read her the story about his birth from the bible. I also enjoy watching my 4yr old granddaughter’s face light up. She has the same expressions like her mother when she was her age. They love to watch veggie tales.
I am so happy that for a short period people are fixed on love, peace, and caring for others. An opportunity to remind people of the real reason for the season. Add to that, the Veggie Tales always provide an opportunity to share God with our children/grandchildren.
I’m just looking forward to spending time with my extended family. Due to our busy lives, it only happens during the holidays. I’m thankful to spend another holiday with family.
My children loved the Veggie Tales…Can’t wait to share this with my first grandchild Kamden!!!
Excited to continue our family traditions with our 3 little ones!
Our entire family is getting together! We would be thrilled to watch VeggieTales!
I am really excited about the holiday season…. this past year haas been very rough for my self and my husband. We went through some tough times inour marriage. We had to decide that we wanted to stay a family. It was a hard battle to fight for the one you love. My life has been changed so much! We have two small children and we are so lucky to still be a family. This holiday time we are celebrating as a family and not pretending like we had to last year. My kids love Veggie tales and we are living the values that those veggies have taught our kids. Happy holidays!
I am most excited about celebrating the birth of my Savior Jesus Christ, about getting my Christmas shopping done early and without breaking the bank thanks to Southern Savers, and about spending time focusing on my beautiful children and family, and the true reason for the season.
I’m excited because my son is 3 this year and is going to be so excited! I can’t wait to decorate the tree and go look at lights with him. Not to mention watch him open presents! It’s so much fun!
I am so excited to share in the excitement with my 4 kids! They love all the wonderful family events we attend. We especially love going to live nativity scenes! It makes it a bit more real for them.
I am most excited about this upcoming holiday season because my son is now a year old and will able to show so much excitement opening gifts and seeing the christmas tree and i am alos excited because my sister and nephew, who we don’t get to see that often, will be visiting from Arizona!! The holidays can’t get here fast enough!!!
I’m excited to share this with all of my young nieces!
I am most excited because my two yr old twins are finally able to start learning the meaning of the season! We always volunteer, and donate to families in need for christmas, from clothing to toys to the christmas dinner. Its a great feeling. Were trying something different withour 11 yr old this year. His christmas list is Somthing to wear, something to read, something you want and something you need. I feel like kids expect and get so much that they dont appreciate what they do get. So that along with our donations and volunteer work, I hope to make a difference in at least my childrens life. My twins would really love this movie/cd.
I am most excited about celebrating the birth of Christ with my growing family. We have a little boy who just turned one and a newborn baby girl.
Christmas is an exciting time in our home to have the opportunity to celebrate the miraculous birth of our savior. The fact that he was born a baby and my that my 4 and 1 year old can relay the story in their own words by enacting the birth and worship with their precious Little Tikes manger scene is utterly heartwarming. Christmas lights, hot cocoa, fireplace warmth and our favorite Christmas song, “Oh Holy Night” makes for a memorable season every year.
I am most excited because last year we started our new tradition of no family gift exchange… and it really made the holiday season. What a difference!
my granddaughters just love all of the veggie movie my newest is one is just in to the veggie movie
I am excited about experiencing Christmas with our new baby joining our older 2 kids (ages 4 & 6)! The older kids have grown so much, it seems, this year, and have learned more about Jesus. It will be cool to see how their deeper understanding of Jesus plays out in their celebration of the true meaning of Christmas!
After one year of working with coupons and using Southern Savers as my #1 go to site, I’m looking forward to christmas this year to see how I can purchase gifts for all 16 kids in my family and extended family with coupons and sales. My 2 yr old has just started watching veggie tales and is now in love with them. He asks to watch “kaka matos” (talk to tomatoes) every day. Needless to say we have our the dvd just about memorized.
I am most excited for this Christmas because my little girl is old enough to find joy in giving and helping others. There will be lots of cookie baking for the neighbors, can giving for the local food pantry, and card making for those in hospice. I feel so blessed to share the TRUE meaning of Christmas joy with her and to teach her that she has a part in making this Christmas joyful for others.
Kendra
I am most excited about seeing my one-year old’s eyes light up on Christmas morning!
We are most excited for Christmas this year because our almost three year old understands that we are celebrating Jesus’ birthday! This is huge to us since this is the first year that she can begin to understand the meaning of Christmas.
Having 2 daughters on that have Autism.. They for the first time get Christmas..They understand it.. and Totally love it.. They are able to open there own gifts.. It is truly a great merry christmas… Angela
I can’t wait for the Christmas season. It is a time when my husband, four kids and myself can sit back and reflect on what the true meaning of the holiday is all about. Veggie Tales is just another avenue with which to tell the story of Christ’s holy birth. The creativity of the Veggie Tales stories and characters captures the hearts of all kids, young and old.
I am most excited for Christmas because it gives our family the opportunity to serve and bring happiness to others. Reflecting on the birth and the life of the Savior is most humbling.
I am most excited for Christmas this year ’cause it will be the FIRST time we have a family tree. I always had one as a child growing up, but my husband and I never “messed” with it. Now…..we have 2 gorgeous little babies and are looking forward to their reaction to a tree in the house :)
I can’t wait to see my almost 4 year old be a “star” in the Christmas program at church. She is so excited.
This year will be the first time I will be spending Christmas with my family, after 9 years apart. It’s also the first time my 2 year old will be enjoying time with his family for this wonderful time that is Christmas. We are a very close family (if only by phone or internet) and Christ centered as well; which will make this year even more special and memmorable. If we win this it will be the “icing on the cake” and my son love the “veggietawes” as he says it.
time with my family makes me excited.
hot cocoa and fire places :)
christmas carols at church
I am so excited for Christmas because I have a almost 8 month old little girl. I am curious to see how she will like all of the Christmas lights, trees, presents, etc. Such a joy to see excitement and curiosity in her eyes to things in this world.
time off of work to be with the family
snow and time with my grandson
I look forward to the music worship program that both my son and husband will play in this year. It is always the first weekend in December and it sets the tone for hte whole month. Reminding us not to get too stressed over gifts and decorations, not to fall into the frenzy of worldly traditions, but just celebrate the true tradition maker…”our maker” Jesus Christ.
Christmas is always exciting for me, but especially this year, because we are expecting Baby #4 on New Year’s. You never know- she might be our Christmas present this year!
I have a new lil one, i’m looking forward to seeing the smiles on my 3 kids faces
looking forward to the first Christmas with baby boy and his 1st birthday.
I am most excited to see our 3 year old get to get gifts for his little brother and help him open them! More importantly, I think this may be the first year that our 3 year old will be able to begin to understand Jesus’s birth.
I am most excited for the upcoming holiday season because my daughter will be old enough to enjoy the holidays and it will be so much fun watching her open her gifts at Christmas and eat “real” food at Thanksgiving!
The wonder of granchildren during this Holiday is very exciting for my husband and I. We have three little boys and the Drummer Boy story is my favorite to share with them. Please enter me in the contest.
Our family is looking forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus that brings us hope!
We are looking forward to celebrating the holiday season with our 3 year old twins. They love all the lights and music each season as we celebrate Christ’s birth.
We adopted a sweet baby boy in July after praying for a child for many years. I am most excited to celebrate Jesus’ birth with our precious gift from above! Jesus was adopted by Joseph into the line of David, and I look forward to sharing His story with our son. We have so much to be thankful for!
I am most excited for the Holiday season this year, because we have so much to be thankful and great full for this year. After a long time of doing fertility medicines/treatments. We were finally blessed with a pregnancy that was totally God given, no medical intervention. This will be our last holiday season as a family of two, and we could not be happier.
I’m most excited about being able to spend time with family and share the true meaning of Christmas. Not to mention that since my husband got a new job teaching, he’ll be home for Christmas break! :)
My parents will be spending the Christmas with us this year! First one in 4 years!
Why are we most excited about the upcoming Holiday Season? This will be our son’s 1st Christmas! We tried for so long to have a child and God blessed us with the sweetest little boy in the whole world! We give nothing but thanks and glory to the Heavenly Father for our miracle! Can’t wait to see what he does with ripping open the packages and seeing his smiling face! So excited!!
I’m looking forward to our first Christmas with our baby girl !! :)
Enjoying the reason for the season -Christ!
In short – my son! I absolutely love seeing the excitement and magic of Christmas on the faces of children.
I am most excited to go home for Christmas this year! My husband and I moved from Indiana to Florida a year and a half ago to be the youth pastor’s at a church here. We love our students dearly and our church family is really great! But we miss our family so much and I’m so excited to go home and see my parents, sister and nieces and nephews! :) I just know it will be wonderful!
I am most excited about this holiday season to seee my 2 1/2 year old fraternal twin boys see the joy of Christ’s season. I hope they will start to comprehend the truth about Christmas!
I am excited to spend time with my family and remember jesus’ birthday!
I love watching how excited my children get at Christmas. I love teaching them about the true meaning. I also get really excited to see those friends/family that we don’t get to see much throughout the year.
I am excited about my son’s Christmas production at school. He has been practicing his heart out already!
Family togetherness :)
I’m excited about this Christmas, because by then I will have given birth to my second baby girl. She’s due Dec. 10. I can’t wait to see her and see how my almost 2-year old interacts with her. The birth of my baby will make remembering the birth of the most important baby ever born all that much more special. :)
We are living in TX right now and have family in Ohio. We maybe heading to Ohio to see family after Christmas.
This will be the first christmas that and my husband and I will be able to buy each other a gift. Thanks to couponing, we have saved sooooo much money and learned how to make a budget and stick to it. :-) thank you for all you do to help out!!!
I am the most excited for the holiday season, because I am free of my abusive husband and my boys and I can have a holiday of peace without fear.
Happy for you, and sad for the pain you have endured. God Bless.
I love spending time with my two children. I love going to pick out the tree with my daughter and son and then laughing all the way home about how silly my little car looks with a tree tied to the top. It is just a wonderful time of the year to let those around you know how much you love them.
I am so excited to celebrate Christmas with my expanding family. I have a 3 year old daughter and just gave birth to another beautiful daughter 3 months ago. My sister also gave birth to a beautiful girl (her first) 2 and 1/2 months ago. I am so excited for all of us to be together to celebrate Christmas with all of our girls :)
I have a sweet 2 year old grandson who loves Veggie Tales… He loves music and we are using music to help him learn to speak… It would be awesome to hear this little one singing His first words… “O Holy Night.” Even if we don’t win please pray for him… He is a failure to thrive baby…. Ty
There truly seems to be more “peace on earth” during the holiday season!
I look forward to savoring this sweet time in my children’s lives and being so thankful to the One who makes it all happen.
I’m so excited for the upcoming family time together!
I’m most excited for the upcoming Holiday season because Christmas is my favorite holiday! I love having my family all together (cooking/baking, eating, and relaxing), giving people gifts that I know they’ll LOVE (love seeing their reaction or just blessing someone w/ something they thought they’d never get), and remembering the real reason for the season in celebrating the birth of Jesus. So excited :)
It has been a really rough year. With the loss of my mom from cancer. One of our best friends took his own life. Our children are old enough to understand the true meaning of Christmas . We have so much to thank the Lord for. For lifting us up when we needed him most. Our twins excepted Jesus as there saiour!
I love Christmas because God first loved us and sent his Son to die for us! Our whole family loves Veggietales and would love to receive the DVD. (Still, am sad to say, am disappointed with the choice of Amy Grant being included in the CD. As far as I know she is unrepentant regarding her affair, divorce, then marriage to Vince Gill. I love them both, and only God can judge. As Christians, however, we are called to be better AND to discern good from evil.).
This will be our 2nd Christmas with our miracle baby. He’s not quite 2yrs,but we’re hoping he’ll have more interest than the paper and boxes. :) We’ve always loved Christmas, but having him is one of God’s great blessings!
I’m really excited about watching my daughter open presents this year. She’ll be 2 this year, so I think she’ll be really excited this year :)
I’m excited for this holiday season because its my daughter’s first Christmas. Christmas is a big tradition in my family and I can’t wait to start sharing it with my baby:)
I am looking forward to Christmas because I continue to be amazed at God’s love for us. Now that I have a son, God giving up Jesus, His only Son, has taken on a whole new meaning for me. I always knew and accepted His redeeming love, but I have a new understanding of the love of a parent toward their child! I also LOVE to watch my son’s amazement of Christmas. The pure, undisturbed love of a child toward Jesus, his friend! He tells me he can’t wait to get to Heaven to see Jesus…Priceless! We love Veggitales at our house and look forward to this DVD! Would love to win it, but we will have it in our home regardless!
We love Christmas time, for food, fun and family! We want to get the Little Drummer Boy DVD for my great nephew. My son is now 15, but loved Veggie Tales and The little drummer boy is his favorite Christmas story and song. He wants to watch it with his 5 year old cousin this Christmas!
I am most excited for the upcoming Christmas season because I have two beautiful grand-babies to celebrate with! They are precious gifts to me…would love to give them the gift of a wonderful veggie tales story & some awesome music!
I LOVE Christmas because we get to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ and we get to share His love with others :)
And when else can you watch 24 hours of the best Christmas movie ever?? A Christmas Story! …you’ll shoot your eye out!!….or I triple dog dare ya!! LOL!!
And who can resist any Veggie tales movie? <3
I am most excited because this is the time of year when all of my family is together, and we are HUGE holiday fans!=) Plus, my parents are paying for all of us to go to a Christmas Inn for the night to get into the Christmas spirit!!! But most of all, my kids will be old enough to really enjoy the true meaning of Christmas this year!
My family loves Christmas because the simplicity of the message of God’s love and hope for all is shared in every mall, store, restaurant as they play our most favorite Christmas Carols!
There are so many wonderful events taking place during the christmas season. I especially love the CHristmas plays – time to reinforce what the real meaning of Christmas is all about.
I am excited to spend time with family!! We don’t live close enough to visit regularly so the extra long school break is great!
I am excited for the way the universal happiness that Christmas brings and the true beauty that winter brings.
It’s the time of year when all our other obligations, troubles, and stresses MUST take a backseat to things that really matter. It’s time for faith, family, food, fun, and traditions. It’s easier to say forget the laundry pile the Christmas tree has to be decorated and cookies to eat!!
We are thankful for where God is leading us as a family. We are excited to celebrate his promises too us this holiday season.
We are excited to begin teaching our toddler daughter the true meaning of Christmas this year.
its my baby’s 1st holiday season, what can be greater than that???
This Christmas will be our first Christmas to celebrate as a whole, complete family. Even after our third child was born, I knew God had one more gift in store. The last of our bunch was born March 3rd of this year, and she has been such a gift to each and every one of us. Her smile lights up the room and has warmed the hearts of her two brothers and sister who love her so much. This Christmas will be extra special because we get to spend it with her…the sweet baby who has completed our family!
I am so excited to spend time with our family and friends celebrating CHRISTmas!
I’m most excited to spend my first Christmas with my twin boys! They will be 6 months old!
I am so excited because my Grandson is one year old and he will enjoy Christmas this year.
I will be “seeing Christmas” through the eyes of my niece’s five year old…can’t wait….
Christmas is that special time of year when all the family comes to visit. and the weather is just right, 60 degree not 90.
I’m so excited because I get to watch my son who will be 19 mos at CHRISTmas, learn about Jesus and his birth this year when he can grasp who Jesus really is! You see, after 10 years of infertility, my MIRACLE daugther was born 11 years ago and after losing twins in 2003, I found out I was pregnant the day after my 40th birthday with my MIRACLE son! Praise God to whom all blessings flow…
I grew up a missionary kid overseas with my parents and two sisters. We moved so much and didn’t get to grow up with our extended family like most. It was basically just us all our lives but that was a good life and we had a good family. When we grew up God took us in 4 different places. Mom and dad are in New York, one is in Ohio, one is Florida, and my husband and I live in Tennessee. Having been so close to my family, it has been sad not to be able to see them very often as an adult. I am going to be 41 in December and I just had my first child 11 weeks ago. My dad still has not been able to get here to see my little Eli, but the whole family will be here for thanksgiving and my dad will finally get to hold the first boy in our family. I can’t wait to see his face as he holds his grandson for the first time. Even though my family won’t be here for Christmas, I now have a family of my own and am so excited to experience what waking up on Christmas morning with a child of my own is like.
Who can resist talking veggies? We Love Veggietales! I know it’s wholesome and the kids think it’s laugh-out-oud funny!
We are excited to celebrate Christmas simply because it is Christ’s birthday. He has blessed us with 3 births to celebrate after we were originally told we would never have children. We now have 3 children; 2 naturally and 1 adopted. They are 4yrs, 4yrs, and 7wks. Birthdays are a big deal in our family and Jesus’ is the biggest deal of all!
Looking fwd to this holy and exciting season to not so much get but to most of all give to others.
I LOVE Christmas! It is when we celebrate Jesus’ birth and my son’s favorite time of the year. He was born on December 11, 1999 and spent 13 days in the hospital. God helped him and healed him and he got to come home on Christmas eve.
Christmas is the most amazing time of the year! It is my favorite, because of the time I spend with family, the awesome food, and the opportunity to create new family traditions with our soon-to-be three year old.
I will be with my kids again.. I was way last year. So this year will fill like old times.
I have 3 children very spaced out. A month ago my 12 yr old daughter ask me to tell her the who santa really was. I was honest with her and told her me. I also explain how the spirit of christmas was special . A magical time of year. The birth of baby Jesus and the sacrifice he made. We had a son born beginning of year and it was my 12 tear old who had to remind me to turn all my hurt and worries over to him. She is truely touched by his birth and what it means. Almighty and powerful. Ultimate healer. 3 hospitals later and God healed our child and showed me my daughters faith.
Truelly Blessed
I LOVE Christmas music and it is only allowed after Thanksgiving until Christmas. I look forward to it all year!
I am most excited this Holiday season because we get to spend it in our house. My husband was unemployed for over a year and we have been unable to make our house payment…and by the Grace of God, we are still in our home 2 years later. So Praise God for this roof over our head this Holiday season!!
I love decorating for the holidays! I am most excited to see how my 1 year old reacts to all the Christmas festivities!
I am most excited to honor the birth of JESUS!! – and to feel the love of family and friends during this happy season, and to be able to see my grandson’s eyes light up Christmas morning!!!
I’m excited for the holidays because my teacher husband will have 2 full weeks off of work! Can’t wait to spend some relax time with him and the kids.
Every holiday season I am excited, planning my decorating with the old decorations and looking for some new, along with traditional recipes and some new ones, so with the Veggie Tales new movie, we will be watching the classics along with the new ones and Little Drummer Boy is one of my very favorites.
Each holiday from Halloween on through the New Year, I am like a child. I seem to think and feel as one. I am the happiest that I am all year long. I feel like I am better and that the world could actually be better;especially if it could feel what I feel. This year my husband is without a job, but It has not changed my joy of the season. In fact I know even more this time of year, things are going to improve. For me, it truly is a joyous season.
The holiday season is especially special to me because we celebrate being one big family. No matter what our beliefs are we all came into this world the same way which was a miracle that has yet to be explained! We celebrate our friends, family, coworkers and most importantly the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! What could bring more happiness than that?
I am very excited about the new season. My children loved Veggie Tales. A friend of my family has just found God and have been going to church and receiving his love. I want to continue this relationship with God for my friend and her son. I would so enjoy giving them the new Vaggie Tales CD.
This will be the first Christmas with a complete family. It will be my daughter’s first Christmas and my son at 2 will be old enough to start understanding what’s going on.
This is my sons first christmas!!! he will be 11 months old on christmas and We are so excited to see him try and open presents! Christmas time is my favorite time of the year, I love decorating and having the family over. Also, my little boy loves veggietales!!! I am so excited for christmas this year…it is so much for rewarding when you have a child to enjoy it with! My son was truly a gift for God!
The celebration of the birth of Jesus and the time we will spend with our family celebrating.
We are so excited for this holiday season b/c we are planning to drive to PA & visit family. My son George will turn 4 yrs old Jan 3rd & we are planning for him to have a Bday party the week b/twn Xmas & New Years. It will be the 1st Bday he’ll be able to celebrate w/ his cousins & aunts/uncles who love him so much. Not only that, George is fully aware why we celebrate Jesus’ birth Christmas & asks to have Jesus come to the house & play. I am telling him that this trip is our gift from God & Jesus so we can show/share the true spirit of Christmas & share our love for Him & our family.
excited to remind my children the reason fir the season…Jesus! We are saving for a family mission trip so this year we are going light on the gifts and heavy on sharing God’s love!
We have a precious newborn and I’m looking forward to new family traditions with her!
My grandaughter will be one on November 17 so this Christmas she will really be able to enjoy everything. I want to teach her the true meaning of Christmas, not just toys and gifts. But of the wonderful love of God. The video is a great way to do it.
We are most excited about the CHRISTMAS seson to celebrate with good friends and family, but most of all celebrate the reason for the season. We enjoy spending time with friends and family. This is the only time of year that we get to see alot of our families.
Looking forward to a time of year that we can gather with friends and family and forget the many things that can distract us during the Christmas season…we can still celebrate the love of family, joy of giving, and remember our Saviour born on this day!!!
My son is 15 months old and I am excited to have a Christmas where he actually knows what is going on. Last Christmas he was so young we just propped him beside the tree to take pictures but this year he will probably be climbing on it. I”m excited for his enthusiasm and wonder. Something I have started to lose as an adult.
I love the holiday season because its guaranteed for my family to get together. No matter what anyone has going on we make time for each other for the holidays. Love them!
I love being with my family and finding fun gifts for everyone. Oh and the food!
I’m excited to see my family after not seeing them for 2 years!
I am most excited about the holiday season, because it means we get to see our family who we don’t get to see very often.
Love family time and celebrating a beautiful Savior
This will be our twins first Christmas!!! We can’t wait to enjoy their first Christmas with them. Our other children LOVE Veggie Tales.
I’m excited about the upcoming Christmas season due to my Mother’s health improving little by little after having had to endure two surgeries last year, and hoping that this year will be full of love, hope, and faith and good for all my family as we gather together to celebrate the birth of Jesus and of all the things for which we have been provided and blessed with.
I love the holidays because it brings family and friends together, and for a while the most important things in life are not about work and bills, but about others.
I’m excited for the cooler weather and spending time with family
This season, I am most excited because our two year old is old enough to grasp the concept of giving and sharing.
This is our baby’s first Christmas! We can’t wait to share with him the true meaning of Christmas :)
I have always loved Christmas and now it’s even better because I get to celebrate it with my 4 sweet girls. We have started lots of family traditions that we look forward to every year. We keep the focus on celebrating the birth of Jesus. My favorite…we bake a cake Christmas Eve, light a candle in the morning and then sing “Happy Birthday to Jesus.” We do this before anything else on Christmas Day. It is very sweet and helps us stay focused on the great gift God gave us.
Looking forward to celebrating the season with special gifts that point our girls to Jesus
Excited to celebrate Christmas with our family and little girl who will be 13months! We started a family tradition of reading the true meaning of Christmas from the book of Luke!
I’m excited about the Christmas season because this is my first Christmas with my husband. We were married in March. Such a special time.
I’m excited to have another Christmas with my Dad. Thanks to an amazing blessing and a donor family, we are one year post transplant! Everything is more special when you’ve been given more time!
We will be able to celebrate Christmas with our son and his family for the first time in 7 years this Christmas. I will get to be with my 18 month old grandson and my 3 year old granddaughter for the first time this Christmas! I look forward to celebrating our Saviours birth with them!
Love the true spirit of the season.
I’m excited to continue making Christmas memories with my family. Now that my youngest is 2, he is ready to really get excited about Christmas!
Our daughter is now 5 and can really “enjoy” Christmas. She knows what Christmas is about now and is happy to celebrate Jesus’ birth. She will be having eye surgery in December so hopefully this will be something she can watch while recovering.
I now have two baby girls to enjoy the holiday season with. My eighteen month old and my three month old. I can’t wait for my oldest to see the Christmas tree and decorations.
I’m excited to see my children see the “real” Legendary Santa at the Richmond Children’s Museum. He actually comes down the chimney and calls the children over by their names to come sit on his lap. This is so exciting for me as I’ve been doing this for 32 years now. So much fun!
We really enjoy the Christmas season. My husband in in charge of Operation Christmas Child for our church. We collect around 275 shoeboxes for the ministry. Then the church goes to the processing center one evening in early December to help with the processing of the boxes. Our family also fixes and places at least 225 luminaries along the sidewalks at our church for the Christmas Eve service each year. It is our favorite time of year! (We also LOVE Veggie Tales. My 29 year old son can sing all the songs!)
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love to decorate my home and have parties for my friends and church group. And I would love to have the Veggie Tales products for my 3 GREAT grandchildren!
I am completely looking forward to the holiday season, from Thanksgiving to Christmas, because my husband, wh is in the military, is going to be home to celebrate it with my 21 month old son and myself. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus, and the joy of experiencing it with family! I am already looking forward to decorating and getting in the holiday spirit :)
My twin boys will be 4 and baby girl 1.5 so this will be a awesome and fun Christmas for all of us!!
I’m most excited about spending Christmas with my son and fiance. It’s the first year we will all be together for Christmas since before our son was born. So excited!!
Fall starts my favorite time of year. I am always excited for Thanksgiving. My mom and I go to Florida every year to celebrate Thanksgiving with my aunt and cousins. it is always crazy, but I would not want to be anywhere else. Then Christmas comes. This is the time of year to surround yourself with the ones that you love.
I love getting together with my family. It is truly a special time of year!
Thanksgiving and Christmas have always been my favorite time of year. I have continued on the tradition with my children of watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade every Thanksgiving before the football game. I always enjoy getting together with the family. The main thing I do miss this time of year are my grandparents. We always went to their house on Christmas and I wish my children would have had a chance to experience those moments as well. I also enjoy the church services, because through all the running around of the season, they remind you of what is really important. Oh yes, I am also reminded I get to cook for both holidays:)
I’m most excited about our newest baby boy joining us in a few weeks, just in time for the holiday season. I can’t wait to share holiday traditions with my two “big kids” who are five and three…such fun ages to enjoy Christmas!
I guess I’m most excited about celebrating it all with my family… and seeing my kids learn a little more about Him through all of the festivities that await us! :o)
Spending time with family making memories and eating yummy food!!!
Spending time with all my family!
Thanks for an awesome giveaway! I am most looking forward to family, food/cooking and that feeling of excitement and joy in the air when the holidays are here:)
Wearing big sweaters and baking. Also and most important spending time with family, watching my girls eyes light up when they open there presents.
My son is now getting in to Veggie Tales! Great giveaway! And I am most excited about spending time with family!
I am excited to teach my 2.5 year old about the true meaning of Christmas. I got the Fisher-price nativity last year (after Christmas) so I can’t wait to get it out and we can learn about Jesus’ birth
I can’t wait to make the trek halfway across the country with 2 kids under 4 to visit the grandparents on Christmas Day!
I love everything about the Christmas season. I love the extra time with my family and celebrating Christ’s birth.
This is my little man’s first christmas that he actually has some awareness what’s going on and knows how to open gifts. I’m so excited!
God sent His only son Jesus and I love to celebrate the Season with family and friends.
I am excited for the new family traditions we are starting!
Watching my son’s face light up when opening gifts and spending time with family
I’m so excited!!! Because God has bless us with two beautiful Grandchildren. Kaleigh, is 1 1/2 and Trevin is three mths. old. Both were pre-mature births. They are simply wonderful and happy. Now I know what Grandparents mean when they say that there is nothing like it!! My son by the way grew up with Veggy Tales! I If there is one thing I would want to leave my child with, it’s faith. And they are a wonderful teaching tool. Can’t wait to introduce my Grandchildren to them. And keep the true meaning of Christmas alive!! Jean Garner
I’m excited to spend time with my family–especially my niece and nephew from out of town.
Thanksgiving is my favorite because it’s all about spending time with family and just being thankful. No presents involved, just food, family and friends!!! God is faithful and our center!!!
I’ll be enjoying the company of my oldest son, who will be home from college for a month. We all miss him!
I am most excited about spending time with family!!!
I look forward to Christmas every year and it is because I love to see the joy on my kids faces when they go out and buy gifts for children who are less fortunate than ourselves……… they are amazing!
This Christmas is especially special for our family as we have so much to be thankful for. I was diagnosed with leukemia 2 years ago and had a very questionable outcome. I am in remission and am so grateful for the continued opportunity to spend time with my family. . . holidays are always extra special for our family. Christmas is a wonderful time for us to remember all Christ has done for us. . . and to look for ways to give to others.
Thank you for all your help on Southern Savers!!
So excited to see how much you can help me save this year! Last year was the first year I went to this website and christmas was unbelievable. The kids got so much more than they ever able to so this year I excite to see how much I save.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I want my grand children to know the true meaning of Christmas. Veggie Tales is a great way to help them to understand. Thank you!
I love spending that time with our family and especially watching our little ones.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends that you may not get to see everyday.
We’ve been Veggie Fanatics since our oldest was 2 years old. Even though he is now approaching 17, we still enjoy watching various episodes, quoting lines, and singing the songs. We look forward to each new release, and since we love The Little Drummer Boy story, this is no exception.
I’m most excited for this holiday season because it will be our family’s first Christmas as a family of four! :)
I am excited about being with family. And I wouldn’t say that I like to cook but I love to see everyone enjoying all that great holiday food.
I am excited for this holiday season b/c it reminds us all that years go by so quickly and we slow down if only for a littlebit! Plus, who doesn’t love seeing their kids happy on Christmas?!
I am most excited about the holiday season because I love to make memories for my children so that one day when i’m gone, they will still have those memories.
I am so excited to celebrate Christmas with our children. Our little boy gets more excited about giving to others and celebrating Jesus’ birthday than anything else.
I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren & seeing their eyes light up when Santa brings their toys. They are only young for a short time & then they are grown & the fun of Santa is gone.
We would love to win this
I can’t wait to spend this Christmas with my baby girl. She was only 2 weeks old last Christmas and slept through all the festivities. I can’t wait to experience all the Christmas traditions with her this year.
I’ve become disabled at the age of 57 after being in the Army and teaching Special Education. My daughter has many problems with her significant other and is blaming me so she has nothing to do with me right now. This will be my first Christmas that I will be alone with no commitments. I plan to find a shelter or something to help as much as possible. I want to help those who are worse off than I. There are always others that need more than God has blessed me with. I often support DAV, Wounded Warriors, Feed the Children, American Institute of Cancer and others financially, but I want to do “hands on” this year because I will be available. Helping others is what life is really about. Christmas is an opportunity to do so. But, people miss opportunities year round. I hope to find ways to help others all year long to the best of my ability.
I am excited to prepare for our new baby! She is due mid-January so we will be getting ready for her all through the holidays.
I am excited about the holidays because our whole family will be together, including my nephew who spent last Christmas In Korea with the Air Force.
This is my favorite time of the year!!!!!!!! The spirit of everyone is so much happier. I love to spend time with family and friends and bless as many people as I can! :)
I am excited this will be the first year my daughter will really get to participate in the Christmas festivites. She was only a few weeks old last year and looking forward to spending as much time with her this year.
What I am most excited for this Holiday Season is spending time with my family. My husband will actually be in the country this year for Christmas. He is military and has been deployed at Christmas for the last 5 years. I am more excited that it is the same God that kept him safe that gave us the most incredible gift, His son on our first Christmas morn.
It has always been my favorite time of year! Growing up, it was really the only time all of my family was together. Everyone comes to Nana’s for Christmas! Now, I have two children of my own and they were both born right around Christmas! What more could a girl ask for!
Being able to celebrate the birth of Christ with our extended families :)
It will be our 2nd christmas with our son Lucas fully healed from his open heart surgery last december. He is growing strong, walking, and amazing us every day with what he can and does do. He is our miracle baby, he and his bigger brother joshua jr really make our lives worth living. We are so fortunate to have two healthy baby boys.
Time with family & to celebrate our Lord & Father Jesus Christ!
I am extremely excited and grateful for this upcoming Christmas. Thirteen years ago I was told there would be a strong chance I would be unable to have children. After trying for a while, my husband and I left it in God’s hands and had faith that if we were supposed to have a child, it would happen. This year will be Tyler’s first Christmas and I cannot imagine a better Christmas gift. He is almost 10 months old and a joy. He loves veggie tales and hums along with the theme song every time he watches the DVDs.
I’m most excited about this Holiday season for many things like my 1 year old will be able to open his presents. Also, my 5 year can’t wait until Santa comes to the house. But most importantly is another year we get to spend together as a family, and we are all healthy, there’s really nothing more I can ask! Hopefully everyone has a great Holiday Season!!! :)
I started going to church this year, and I’m so excited to share the real meaning of Christmas with my children! Every year, it’s just been about the gifts, but it’s so much more than that! It’s about loving our families and friends, being thankful for all that God’s given us, and most of all – celebrating the birth of Jesus. I hope the TRUE meaning of Christmas fills everyone’s hearts with happiness this year!
Christmas has ALWAYS been my favorite time of year, with Easter a close 2nd. When you can share the love of Christ with grandchildren, makes it even better.
I’m excited about the upcoming seasons because of all the yummy food, baking, decorations, special time with family and friends but most importantly the celebration of Jesus birth!
I’m excited for Christmas this year because my girls are 4 and 1 and are at the perfect ages where it makes Christmas so exciting! We’ve already been talking about Christmas for weeks now!
I’m excited about the holidays because i vow to make this year memorable! We have a wonderful 4 year old who has been talking about christmas for a month or more – and i think this will be the best year yet! An elf is planning to visit our home which will prove to bring all sorts of mischief and excitment! I’ve been looking at this DVD, as my little one has just gotten exposed to Veggies – and we don’t own one yet…i think this would be the perfect one to start a collection! Happy Birthday Jesus!
I’m SO excited aobut sharing the Joy of Jesus’s birth with my kids. They create an atmosphere of excitement about even the little things.
There’s just something magical about Christmas to me. It’s never been about the presents but about family. My family is streched out across several states and Christmas is usually the only time that my whole family is all together at one time. Especially now that my sister and I both have children it takes it to a whole new level! Now don’t get me wrong, were not the Cleaver family and everything is by no means perfect but we all try to be on our best behavior and in the end it’s usually great!
SHARING THE LOVE OF JESUS WITH OTHERS, RECOGNIZING THE REAL MEANING OF THIS SEASON, GETTING TO SHARE NEW MEMORIES AND SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY.
My kids are at an age to really enjoy and understand the meaning of this Holiday season.
I am extremely excited for christmas this year because last year I was a single mom and now I am married to the love of my life! My daughter also has a father now because hers has been absent. Nothing is better than having a family for christmas! We are also going to see his family in California and it will be the first time that we will all be together as a new family!
I’m most excited for my grandson who is 2 this year. He has already ask me where my Santa Claus is. He remembered it form last year but didn’t understand what all was going on when we had our family celebration. He is a vibrant little fellow. When he walks into a room he light up te wole place. I would really like to win this for him as he is crazzzy about Veggietales. This would make his day.
My 2 1/2 old granddaughter and I were shopping on Saturday. We looked at Christmas ornaments. She loved them and would touch them gently. She thought the decorated trees were so pretty. Seeing her little eyes looking at those things brought so much joy to me. Of course, I want to share about Jesus with her too. She is learing songs and I think she would love to have this new CD.
I am most excited to spend this Holiday season with my new daughter for the first time!
Jesus’s birthday always brings a feeling of renewal and rebirth for me at this time of year. It is wonderful to see the happiness and excitement in my child’s eyes.
Looking forward to the arrival of my little girl…. can’t wait to meet her!
I’m most excited about Christmas this year because we love to travel up north to spend time with extended family, get together @ holiday parties & go to church together to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas. We also love the fact that we may get to enjoy snow on Christmas Day!
I love this time of year when we can spend quality time with family that we otherwise don’t see much..and over hot Apple cider!
I’m most excited because after 3 miscarriages, we found out on Christmas Eve last year that we were expecting. This year we will have a beautiful baby boy to celebrate with.
I love watching my children’s faces light up with all the activity. Christmas is especially special each year we make a point to do for a family in need. It is so cool when they finally get how much we are blessed by doing for someone else.
I love all the sounds of Christmas choirs, the smells and colors of Christmas too
I’m most excited about my kiddos being a bit older this year (4,2,6 mos….) and watching them enjoy our traditions. The season starts Nov. 1 for us!
I always look forward to the tradition of baking a birthday cake for Jesus with my children. Nothing could be better than a season of celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am most excited about the holiday season this year because after the devastating flooding our local community suffered in Sept, we get to be an example of the hands and feet of Christ to those who lost their homes. We are learning what it means to be long-suffering. We want this year to be a time for our kids to understand how blessed they are and that even as children, they can have a major impact on hurting people, storing up treasures in Heaven.
I am so excited about this holiday season for two reasons. One, my children! They bring so much joy and excitement to it all. Two, my family! I am so happy to be able to be with family this year during the holidays. I missed them so much when my husband was stationed to far away from home to visit them for the holidays.
I am excited for the holiday season because I get to see my family and have Christmas at home.
Christmas is always so exciting because everyone is celebrating Jesus!
I love the holiday season, especially for our girls. It’s great coming up or following through with traditions we’re establishing for our little family. They’ll also both be in the children’s musical at church. Can’t wait to see my 3 and 5 year old on stage.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I have so many wonderful memories with my family growing up. Christmas was such a special time. Now there are so many nieces and nephews and cousins in the bunch, and they bring a new joy to the holidays. I would love to give them Veggietales, something my teenage daughter loved growing up!
I am excited about the holiday season because it is when my whole family is together, happy, and cheerful. I love being able to spend time with them as a whole, and the holiday season is so much happier with all of them in it.
I am most excited for my 6 year old to be off from school for a few weeks so I can take all three of my little ones to the zoo and to the children’s museum. We also go to several parades, tree lighting cermonies, family get-togethers….the whole month is filled with fun!!
being together with family…
So excited for Christmas ~~~ 2 little sons to enjoy Christmas with this year!!!
I am most excited about the upcoming holiday because of my grandchildren they are so much fun to share it with. Also all the great deals I get off of your site lets me get lots of neat gifts for them!!
I love the holiday season, but I am especially excited about this upcoming holiday season because my husband and I have become legal guardians of 4 children and will be starting the process of adoption. This will be our first Holiday season together as a family. I have no kids of my own so it will be so exciting to have kids around for the holidays.
My baby will be 3 this Christmas and he is already talking about it so Im trying to get my 13 year old to get his joy its going well right now. So Im getting excited too.
Our daughter is 4 and she is very excited about celebrating Jesus’s birthday at Christmas. Her excitement = our excitement!
Although it will be the first year without my dad, it will be wonderful to spend the holidays with family that live all over the country. It will also be the 1st year that my 2 yr old will be able to start to understand what Christmas is all about :) I can’t wait!
Our family is so excited for this upcoming holiday season for many reasons. Greatest of all that we will all be together! We are so very blessed to have good health and eachother! Please, please we would love to win this great Veggie Tale prize for our 2 year old!
Christmas can be a stressful joyless time of year due to the demands of buying just the right gifts for many people all at the same time, suitable pot luck dishes to accommodate everyone’s needs & wants, the dropping temps outside and avoiding potential family squabbles. This year I’ve been a lot more proactive about the gift giving part. In January I created a spreadsheet including a budget, items I’ve been purchasing and ideas I have for gifts. That relieves a lot of stress for me. I’m looking forward to having more mental space to appreciate the gift of life that we are reminded of this time of year as we commemorate Jesus’ birth – that is if I don’t feel the free space up with something else less worthy.
This Christmas will be special because we have a niece with us this year and it is baby’s second christmas. This brings our family up to eight and looking back at the year, it is awesome to realize that God has truly blessed us. We could have had it so much worse, but He kept us and is allowing up to bring joy also to our niece. Just like the drummer boy discovered the real meaning of Christmas, my other children are learning to appreciate that Jesus is the reason for the season as well.
I cant not wait for this holiday season to see my 1 year old daughters reaction to all the lights and Christmas morning!
Christmas is the best time of the year because we celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus.
I am very excited about the upcoming holiday season because I have just moved back to Florida after being in Indiana for 3 1/2 years, and I can’t wait to have a joyful holiday season surrounded by my loved ones!
Last year, we brought our daughter home on Christmas day from the hospital! This year, we get to enjoy her “second” Christmas watching her play with her new toys!
My children are 3 and 5, so they love the magic of the season. I vividly recall being fascinated with nativity scenes as a child and I think this year they will experience the same sense of wonder with new eyes as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!
Our first holiday season in our own home!
This holiday season is exciting for me because my 3 year old is big enough for us to really involve him in every part of things. He will get to help decorate the house, and the tree. We will also be able to let him pick out gifts for the family, and hopefully he won’t tell everyone what their gifts are :-) This is also the first year that we will have my mom and step dad here for Thanksgiving and for Christmas.
I’m excited to stay at home (no traveling this year!) and spend a quiet Christmas with my husband and 3 kids. Maybe we will even start a new family tradition this year!
Most excited for all the yummy holiday food and spending time with family!!
Excited to be celebrating Christmas back in the States this year…with others who believe in the true meaning of the holiday. Last year we were deployed and living in Israel…yes, the Holy Land…but very little Christmas celebrating. We were the only people on our street with a Christmas tree. So glad to be home and looking forward to celebrating the birth of Yeshua, our Savior.
I am so excited about this Christmas because our 1 1/2 yr old will be able to really enjoy it. Not only will she enjoy the family, food & presents, but she will also begin to understand the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Cannot wait for this Christmas season. After a 2 yr. period of hubby looking for a job we’re finally ready to have a normal Christmas again. Would love to have these Veggie Tales items to get started celebrating early!!!
I’m looking forward to spending time with family and friends. Plus, our son is 4 and he’s really starting to understand the meaning of everything, so I’m looking forward to seeing his excitement and learning more about Christmas.
I love the holidays… two months of family fun, food, festivals, and traditions. We love continuing traditions passed to us, but also creating new traditions for our kids. Happy Holidays!
I am so excited to spend time with my entire family together!
I am really excited for the upcoming holidays because my son is a year and a half old and we are working on creating our family traditions! We would love to add a sing along to our Christmas eve festivities!
To celebrate Jesus’ birth! Also looking forward to all the fun activities and seeing family during the month of December.
I look forward to the holidays because it is an exciting time for all 3 of my kids! We also enjoy seeing all of our friends and family and sharing memories together. The food and parties are great too. We are hoping to get to take a snow ski trip for our family Christmas this year. I need to get planning!!
I love the holidays. It is awesome to celebrate Christ’s birth. I know we all lose sight of the reason at times but it still comes down to celebrating His birthday., And how awesome God is to us, The decorations, the love, the joy. Of course Santa is a great side item. The happiness it brings.. but also we see the down side of those who have no material items. That is when we get to share what we do have with others. Yes I know we should do this all year round but if the season can change one person to give and the one that is recieving it changes something in them, isn’t that worth all the madness of it all. We have 3 children and 8 grandchildren, and my Momis still here. Wouldn’t change anything.
I am excited because my youngest will be turning 1 on December 14th and can’t wait for him to see the Christmas tree and lights and see how excited he gets!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!
I am looking forward to this Christmas holiday because of the true meaning of Christmas. We love watching the veggietales holiday movies because it’s nice to have something that they enjoy watching so much that also reinforces the message that we are trying to teach them about Christmas.
I am really looking forward to the holidays this year as it will be my little girl’s first Christmas. Her big brother is so excited as well. He keeps telling her she will get to see all the pretty lights.
My grandfather had stage 4 bladder cancer diagnosed in March. Then, he had to have 4 surgeries in 2 months.God gave him a second chance at life. The wonderful Doctors took the bladder and cancer out. He is cancer free now and doing great. So, I am so grateful that we get to spend more holidays with him. He turns 75 on December 27. THis is a very special man to me he raised me and supported me while in nursing school. I am currently an ICU RN so returned the love when he was sick. I have 2 girls that are my grandfathers world we live next to him so we would love to start the holdiay season with Veggies Tales:)
Our only child a boy is 3 1/2 this year. And he is the first boy to my parents who raised three girls. We all stay together Christmas Eve. So I am excited because this year we can read the Christmas story, enjoy opening gifts together, and ALL understand the meaning of this amazing day!
My boys are 6 and 3 and watching them brings back all the joyfull memories of Christmas when I was a kid, except somehow it’s even better now.
My boys (6 & 3) love celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. We love watching movies that tell about the true meaning of Christmas (Jesus) and making a Him a bday cake on Christmas Eve.
My granddaughter just turned two, and I’m so looking forward to the excitement on her face when she sees the presents under the Christmas Tree.
My granddaughter just turned two, and I’m so looking forward to the excitement on her face when she sees the presents under the Christmas Tree.
I love the holidays mainly because we celebrate Jesus’ birth and being thankful for all that He has done and I love to see people filled with joy! I love to see my kids smiles as they gaze upon the lights and decorations and toys. It’s about reaching out to others and being a blessing! My son is 8 and has been playing the drums since he was 2. He has a God given talent and he has played at many churches and events and I know he would love the Veggie Tales Drummer Boy DVD.
I am most excited about the Christmas season becuase I love sharing this time with my family. My 4-year-old boy and 18-month-old girl are so much fun, and I love watching them. So many precious memories!!
Well, Little Drummer Boy is a classic and now to have it in VeggieTales will be wonderful! This Holiday Season I am excited because my husband has a job and the Lord has provided in more ways than we could ever see in these last 3 years! His Ways are not our ways. I am always excited to share the news of Jesus’s Birth during the Christmas season. We have a birthday cake and a brthday party every year with my kids and their friends! They all love it! Thanks for continuing to bless all of us! ;) Charlene
I love how excited my kids get during the decorating season. They love the trees, lights and gingerbread houses. It is so awesome to watch through their eyes!
We have 4 children 9 and under, and right now, Papa doesn’t have a job. Most people would be really freaked out by that, but thanks to using coupons these last few years, we’re honestly doing alright. Our savings are gone, but we manage to scrape enough together to pay the mortgage and put food on the table. I’m excited to show the kids that we can still have a wonderful Christmas without having lots of money or lots of presents under the tree. Family is what makes it special.
I am most excited that this is the FIRST Christmas for my 2 new grandaughters!! We are so blessed!! I can’t wait for the holidays.
My entire family get together every Christmas and New Year. We always have only this chance to have everybody together. I am excited to see my nieces and nephews and give them presents.
I love the holidays, the food, the scents, the excitment!
I am so excited because this will be my little baby Emily’s first Christmas! It will be so awesome because I never had Christmas growing up. I can’t wait!!
I am most excited for decorating the house with the kids!
I am very excited about Christmas because my little boy is 3 and is really into telling Santa what he wants. It will also be my daughter’s 1st Christmas!
We are very excited to spend time with family and friends.
I am excited to just focus on family this year. Money is so tight right now that we are really just going to buy a few things for our 2-year-old and watch his face light up Christmas morning. Other than that I just want to spend as much time as possible with my husband and family and enjoy the sights, smells, and sounds of the holidays!
It is sad to say that normally something has to happen before you really appreciate what you have. With a very sudden death of a coworker, life and death stares you in the face. You open your eyes and appreciate all of the scribble on the wall and all of the spilled milk and wonder what you would do if your carpet didn’t have popcicle drip stains from years past. I am committed to appreciate all of the little things, both good and bad.
I’m most excited because of all the good deals you can get when competitors put things on sale, a lot of what I see on Southern Savers. This is a good time to put into practice savings on the things that are wearing out that you will need soon.

i’m excited to give back to my community. last year we were way down on our luck. we had amazing people in our community help us and this year I will pay it foward.
We are looking forward to the upcoming holiday season because our little girl will be turning one! Since we have a new little one, money is tight so we will be making all homemade gifts this year and are really looking forward to it :)
My granddaughter Chrissa is turning 3 in november and I am so looking forward to giving her the first vegie tales cd/ that will be her very own…..she already sings amen, amen and I cannot wait to fill her house and life w/ christmas tidings from Jesus. thanks
My husband and I just separated and after years of not being able to buy my boys the things I wanted to I can’t wait to be able to do Santa the way I think it should be done!!
I can not wait to see my little boy’s face this year, being his first Christmas! His birthday is on the 30th of December so he will just be a few days shy of 1 year! Not to mention we have another one on the way that will be due the 14th of January :) My husband and i are both Christians and we are strong believers on the REAL meaning of Christmas. We are also going to teach our boys the real meaning of Christmas and how it is not all about all the presents (even though it is a lot of fun!!) we still want to put most of our attention on the birth of our Lord and Savior. I think the Little Drummer Boy will be the perfect way to help us start teaching them the true meaning of Christmas as young as what they are!!
My son is 4 years old and religion has not been in our lives untill this year. I came to the conclusion that with out instilling God into my familys life we will always have a hole in our hearts. So I started going to church with my 4 year old and hopeing my husband will follow my example. I want a way to explain God to my 4 yearold in a way he will understand and I believe these dvd’s will help with my mission.
I am most excited to celebrate with our one year old son in St. Louis with the rest of our family. Last year my husband and I celebrated alone with our 6 week old son. This year we’ll make the 9 hour trek and get to celebrate with both sets of grandparents!
Family time, The Birth of our savoir, being thankful for all the blessings!
I can’t wait to spend time with family and friends. Eat good food and have some time off from work.
This year we have a son to share the Christmas holiday with. He is the best gift EVER!
Im excited about hot chocolate, apple cider, christmas movies and a fire!
Family, Food, Fun – all the makings of a great holiday season!
Looking forward to seeing my kids faces when they open all their gifts!
I am most excited because my little girl is three this year and is already ready for Christmas and the tree and everything. I know that she is going to understand and love everything so much more this year. Also, we have a new addition to our family in our 2 month old and I can not wait to watch him see all the lights and everything for the first time.
My kids are at THAT age, (5/6), when things start to connect really well and I really love all of the little question and answer periods we have. Every year I get more excited about this time of year, because I KNOW my children are becoming more knowledgeable with every year that passes! This time of year the Gospel is seen more than any other, next to Easter, and it opens up so many avenues to show my children Christ’s love for all of us! Yea! , for that fact alone ;-)
Faith, Family, and Fellowship. :) And food and fun too!
excited to see family
I am a college student & haven’t been home to see all my family in a few months. I cannot wait for the holidays, because that means I get to see them! They woud looooove if I brought this home with me :) I have several younger siblings & my mom adores veggie tales.
My little boy being old enough to get excited over Christmas!
I am most excited because of time spent with family :) I am a nurse and I had to work last Christmas (which was my husband’s and my first Christmas after we were married). But this year I am off Christmas Eve and Christmas, both sides of our families should be in town, and we just found out we are expecting our first baby! :-D I grew up on Veggie Tales, and look forward to watching them with our children!
I’m most excited that I’ll have my whole family together which is rare these days.
I am most excited to see family. I had to move from MI to VA to find a teaching job. I love veggie tales too because my 3 year old loves them!
Christmas is my family’s favorite time of the year!!! We love getting together with the kids and telling them the Story of Jesus’ birth and watching classic Christmas movies. This year in particular, we’re very excited because we will be making a road trip from our home in Florida to see our family in New York City!!! Our kids are looking forward to seeing the Christmas tree at Rockerfeller Plaza and most certainly they’re looking forward to ice skating. . .which we can’t do here! I can’t wait!!
I am most looking forward to time with my family. My kids are 7, 5 and 4, so they really love Christmas and get very excited. I love dressing them up and going to church together on Christmas. We then relax, open presents and spend the day playing together.

I am excited because we are moving to a new state over Christmas break. We will be traveling just like Mary & Joseph. We plan to have a simple Christmas centered around our Savior’s birth!
I am very excited for the upcoming holiday season because it will be my daughter’s first christmas were she is asking for Christmas gifts and can sort of understand the season. She is 2 1/2 and has a list already made. We have been trying to tell her why we get and give gifts at Christmas. I love to give at this time of year. It is so much fun.
We have several fun Christmas traditions that make the holidays really exciting!! We do the Elf on the Shelf, open and read a Christmas book each night to count down and also make homemade goodies for friends and church family. I love it!!
My brother got custody of my nephew in August so its going to be WONDERFUL to have him here safe and happy fort the holidays and always!!! Im gald there is GOD out there to protect the innocent. He love the veggie tales :)

Also he is so into the gifts this year I know he is going to love seeing what Santa left! Christmas is a time for family and fellowship and I just can’t wait!!!
I love Christmastime…the Christmas spirit, the smells, the glow of lights, the feeling of excitement, the joy of giving gifts and watching the excitement on the faces of my children as they open their gifts. We love Veggie Tales and it helps to teach the younger ones about the birth of our savior, Jesus.
My daughter is turning 2 the day before Thanksgiving. We excited to start our family holiday traditions now that she is old enough to grasp some of the meaning. She loves to sing and dance and is practicing her sharing and giving with us already.
Having 4 small girls 4 and under, I love seeing how each one grasps more and more the meaning of the holiday and get caught up in the joy and excitement of the season.

I am extremely excited to truly enjoy the real “reason for the season” this year and not get bogged down by all the commercial nonsense. Have smothered my children with soo much stuff that we kinda forgot the unforgettable gift God gave us. Thank heavens for my husband for the reminder.

I am excited to spend time with family this year. :)
We are so excited for the holiday season because it’s a wonderful time to share even more stored about our Lord with our kids and remind them what Jesus did for us and why He came. We have been blessed with five beautiful children, four to raise here on earth and one only came here to be with us for two days, but we have so much to praise the Lord for and Veggie Tales help us with fun ways to share the Lord’s stories with our kids and have ways that they can praise HIm in little kid ways. It’s awesome to sing kid’s praise songs all year round, but it’s just a little extra special when it’s celebrating the birth of our Lord!
So excited about the holidays – my favorite time of year. Looking forward to family and and fun and special times together. We love Veggie Tales at our house my 3 year old sings “The Ballad of Little Joe” all the time – its his favorite! We also love the one made from It’s a Wonderful Life – sweet songs in that one!

Watching my nieces in their Christmas programs!
I am so excited about Christmas this year! My 4 year old is now starting to understand the meaning of Christmas, and talks about having Jesus in his heart. I am so proud of him and am overwhelmed with joy when I hear my little boy speak of our loving God. I’m also anxious to see how my 2 year old responds to the excitement of Christmas this year also. I know he won’t understand what Christmas is all about this year, but I pray that our family can help him to grow in Christ also.

i can’t wait for my 3.5 year old and 2 year old to experience christmas. they are finally understanding about the holiday and I want to teach them more about the reason for the season too!
I am excited because this year my special needs daughter, who is 4 years old, is finally able to communicate with us. She can verbally tell us about all the beautiful lights and decorations she sees and we can talk together about the story of Christ’s birth. We also recieved unexpected news about God giving us a third child. Although it wasn’t planned and we have been quite shocked and wondering how we will handle it all, I think Christmas will remind me of how Mary must have felt with her unexpected news and give me a reality check.
We love advent and preparing for Christmas!
Every year, we get to celebrate Jesus! He is the reason for the season! And every year we stand in awe of His wonder!
My husband and I got custody of our 5 yr old niece over the summer and she has had a rough little life. we can’t wait to give her the Christmas she deserves and show her the real meaning of Christmas!
My 2 year old loves Veggie Tales and loves to read her Bible and talk about Jesus. Children are a blessing of the Lord and need to be taught that Jesus is the only way to salvation, peace and joy.
I’m most looking forward to family. Just being together and enjoying the holidays together. Celebrating Thanksgiving by being thankful we are able to be together and Celebrating Christmas remembering why we have Christmas. Because of Christ and His gift to us. The food, the laughter, memories made…
I cant wait for christmas as it means only a few more weeks till I will have my baby girl!

Love having the whole family together if just for once a year!
I’m most excited about the upcoming holiday season because I can really focus on instilling the true meaning of Christmas to my children. We love to watch the VegieTales movies and talk about the first Christmas.
Special family time with the kids and focusing on Jesus
love the season where we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world!
How can I not be excited! Have twin grandsons that will be almost 6 months old at Christmas!!!!
The upcoming holiday season helps to remind us of the joy of giving. Hearts are more open and loving than any other time of the year. Most importantly it reminds us to reflect upon the most important event- the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
My family is involved with Harvest Hope , a new orphanage that we just built in Malawi, Africa. I’m excited because our family is giving each other presents for the orphans instead of for each other. Its an awesome way to show God’s love this christmas!
I’m excited for the holidays because it means time with family and friends that we normally do not get much of throughout the year!
Holidays means spending valuable time with all of our family! I love seeing everyone and spending time with them! And of course celebrating the birth of Jesus!
Spending time with family and friends. Making new memories.
I am most excited about the upcoming holiday season because of all the great memories I get to make with my four little boys and sharing the joy of being thankful and instilling those values along to my children and celebrating Christ’s birthday and getting to teach my three year old son about Christ and why we celebrate christmas, this year he understands things better and he is already practicing his singing for christmas carols.
Joyful worship of the newborn King! I love the hymns and music of the season. It is loving praise of Jesus. My daughter loves to sing Christmas songs too.

I’m Excited for my Grandchildren…I have 2 girls, 1 is almost 4 and the other just turned 3 last friday…It does’nt take much for these two to get excited about anything…They really are winding up for this holiday season….I Can’t Wait!
I love the Holidays! All the family gathered in the same house sharing stories, both sad and happy, eating wonderful food that each family made, sitting around the tree watching the children open their presents with smiles on their faces, and Going to all the differents Christmas plays. And even though I am married, I most look forward to going to my parents home on Christmas morning and listening to my dad read of Jesus’ birth from the Bible! The Holidays are very special for me!
I’m most excited about Christmas because I love hearing my two children (4 & 5) sing Christmas carols… and get so many of the words wrong! It cracks me up! =)
This is going to be a special Christmas because it will be the first Christmas that my daughter who is 2 will somewhat understand what is going on and our other daughter who is 1 will just have a blast! We will be going to church on Christmas Day and that to me is going to be the most exciting part. I love a good Christmas Eve service but there is something amazing about going to worship on the morning we celebrate Christ’s birth! Can’t wait!
My kids are 3 & 5. That is why this year will be amazing. They are both old enough to understand and fully participate in the holiday traditions….plus they will retain memories from one year to the next.
It’s gonna be a very merry Christmas!

But the first together in our house. Last year, we lived in separate houses while we battled to save the one that I owned. Now, we get to have both of our girls together and maybe some exciting news (we are Trying To Conceive).
Our first grandbaby is on the way so we are very excited for the holidays!
I cannot wait to celebrate my youngest 1st Christmas and my other little girl is 3 so she will be tons of fun!!!
I can’t wait to see my kids enjoy Christmas! They will be 23 months and 3 months.
I am most excited about this being the 1st Christmas for our 4th little boy! He’s such a blessing and we are thrilled to be able to teach him about the birth of Jesus Christ! Along with that, we are able to celebrate this blessed occasion with my beautiful sister-in-law who is a 2 time ovarian cancer survivor. We weren’t able to be with her last year due to her undergoing very strong chemo treatments. Love to my Baby Jack and my Sis Jackie!
I am most excited about the upcoming Holiday season because of the celebration of the birth of Jesus!
Excited to share Christmas with family and teach our 1 year old about the birth of Jesus.
I am most excited about the coming holidays for many reasons, one of them is being able to see the joy & excitement it brings my children, its priceless!!!
I am most excited about the upcoming holiday season because I recently was awarded custody of 2 little girls (age 2&3). They were taken from a place where they were neglected and I’m excited to show them what a truly warm and caring home is like on the holidays.
I am excited about spending time with my family. I lost my job almost 2 years ago. While I don’t have the money to really buy much, I think it will give me a chance to show my son what is truly important. Maybe even teach him how to make some gifts that he can give, as opposed to trying to buy something.
I am most excited because my daughter will be 3 and she is beginning to grasp more about why we celebrate Christmas. The reason for giving and why Jesus came to earth and what that means for us. I’m excited to watch her pick things out for those less fortunate.
I am excited for the holiday season because I am blessed to be with my family. We are healthy and happy, what more could a mother wish for.
I am most excited to spend uninterrupted time with my sweet family.
I’m excited to spend lots of time with my family relaxing and enjoying the season together.
I look forward to watching my children continue to love celebrating our Savior Jesus Christ and the gift He gave to us.
I’m so excited!!! This is our first Christmas with our baby girl and it’s at our house! We can’t wait to set up the big tree my aunt is loaning us and set a feast for our family that has been so helpful with our little girl. We are so thankful to have her when we were so close to losing her at birth. And she’s only eight months old and LIGHTS UP everytime she hears us play Veggie Tales! (We love them, too! lol)
I will have two new great nephews for a total of three. It will be so fun to introduce all of them to the Veggie Tale Holiday songs.
My family always get together at Thanksgiving. We have a small family reunion with my father side between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Then my parents, sisters, neice, and nephews spend a week together. We get that family closeness back. We celebrate Christ, family, and life.
This Christmas will be the most exciting for our family. My son is 3 so he will really know what is going on and can look forward to all the wonderful things of the season. I also look forward to my daughters first Christmas (she will be 10 months).
The holiday season means being with family! My new niece loves Veggie Tales so this will make an awesome Christmas gift!

Im a first time mom & my son is 1 year & a half. I’ve always loved the X-mas & even though I usually work X-mas it gives me the chance to make it that more special. Thanks for the giveaway !
I love the holiday season because of the increased emphasis on family and traditions.
I love the extra time with family and all the extra opportunities to worship together.
My daughter is 2 years old and i am pregnant with another little girl. Also my husband is starting a new job next week. We don’t have any extra money but we have a lot to be thankful about this year. i’m excited to share this time with just my oldest little one and knowing she will know more about what is going on makes it more exciting as well.
So excited to spend Christmas with my boys. They love Veggietales and I love that Veggietales tells the real story of Christmas instead of being about gifts and Santa
I am mosted excited for Black Friday and being with my family!!
Im excited for two reasons, first this will be our first holdiday season with our little boy, secondly because my husband will be able to spend the holdiays with us this year.He is military, and last holiday season with out him i was huge pregnant and miserable lol. He will even be here for little mans 1st birthday (he missed the birth) :) So this year will be a memory maker for sure!
I am most excited to share time with our family. We had our first ever Christmas at home all of us last year and we hope to do the same this year. Our little girls (4 & 1) are the pride and joy and we just love sharing the true meaning of Christmas with them.
I always look forward to Christmas, but this one is special because our oldest child will be going away to college next year. This makes me want to “soak up” all the family opportunities now.
I am soooooooo excited to share Christmas with my first grandchild.
I am excited to have my entire extended family in one place at one time. It has been so long since we have been able to that, and it will be wonderful!
I have had my eye on this new DVD for my kids, my son is 3 1/2 and really getting to know more about the joy of Christmas and that Jesus is the Reason for the Season! We would love to share some family time watching and listening to these… the little Drummer Boy is my all time favorite Christmas song! This would also give us an opportunity to take the money we would have spent on the DVD and use that to get a copy as a gift and bless someone else at the same time.
This is my baby girl’s FIRST Christmas and I just can not wait. I can’t wait to share the story of Christ’s birth with her.
I am most excited about this holiday season because this is the first year I have started coupons and have been able to stock up. I won’t have to run out and buy this year and will be able to enjoy my Christmas more at home. I have a new grandbaby and keep him every day. I would love to share this veggietales video with him. My son is also coming home from school so I am looking forward to this year.
I am most excited about Christmas this year because for the 1st time my husband and I will be able to bless our favorite organizations such as World Vision and Samaritan’s Purse – every year we do a little but this time we have saved some $ just for this. This is our chance to celebrate Jesus, our Savior, and God’s love!
I am most excited because our three boys will be taking part in Operation Christmas Child for the first time as well as attending Family Day to get an opportunity to see what their gift is doing. I am thrilled to get to share the meaning of giving with them!! Yea!

I am most excited about giving our kids their gifts and seeing their faces light up…I have a 5 year old boy and a 3 year old girl…I am also excited that we can all celebrate the birth of Jesus with our friends and family.
I love absolutely EVERYTHING about the Christmas season, but I am most excited about the REASON for the season…JESUS!
I’m super excited, Christmas is my Favorite holiday. This will be our first year with the new family dog; Kai. We usually draw names for the adults and the younger kids get from everyone. But this year my niece felt left out so we decided to let her pull the last name ( snuck one in the bag) and she gets to get Kai something for Christmas. So this will be an extra special year.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. This year is extra special because it will be my little boy’s very first Christmas. He will be 9 months old at Christmas and I am so excited to see what he will be like when he gets to open presents for the first time. I can’t wait!!!
I am looking forward to spending time with family. My boys 7 and 4 will be so excited.
I’m super excited because my oldest child is finally old enough (2) to really start teaching about Christmas and the meaning behind it!
This will be the first year my 2-year-old daughter will understand our Christmas tradition of having birthday cake and ice cream Christmas night. When we started the tradition my stepson was 5-years-old (he’s now 15). That Christmas night we didn’t have any candles…only a bottle rocket. So, we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and shot a bottle rocket instead of blowing out the candles. My stepson told us that “we shot the candle off to Jesus for him to blow out the candle”…it has been a special tradition of cake, ice cream, and bottle rockets ever since.
I have a three year old special needs grandchild that has lived with me since she was 10 days old and she just learned to talk! The world is opening up in a whole new way to her, I peeked in her room and found her for the first time following a song and dance. She doesn’t even know all words but she is trying so hard to try her voice and a DVD where he is discovering a new world would be perfect for her. She can discover the world of Jesus with him, she just started Cubbies in Awana and is having a blast learning about God and Jesus in a whole new world. She will also be meeting her 5 year old brother for the first time on Christmas and they will have a cake for Jesus together our tradition and then I would love to work with them (he is special needs as well) and the Little Drummer Boy on Christmas morning. Thank you for this opportunity an may God Bless you in this decission
I love special time with family!
I am just excited for the holiday season to have another excuse to get together with my family! I love this time of year. A big added bonus is seeing my daughters face light up at the Christmas lights, Santa Claus, and everything else that goes along with the holiday season.
love seeing the holiday season through our daughter’s eyes. so magical!
I can’t wait for this Christmas season, I was tempted to start putting out the decorations before Halloween and pretending it was going to take me an extra month to get the decorations finished for Christmas. I have 6 children 3 of my own and 3 step children (my other children, I hate calling them my step kids and they don’t like it either). My little ones are almost 11 months (his birthday is Dec. 6), 2,13,14,15 and 25. Christmas is all about family and traditions at my house. It is my favorite time of year and my little children get so excited over the smallest things, we love to decorate the house, trim the tree and of course bake cookies and goodies for our friends and neighbors. I really want my kids to know the real meaning of Christmas, that it is not all about what you get but what you give that is important. I hope everyone rich or poor feels the love of Christmas and how important it is to love one another and be there when others are in need.
I am mom of six children (4 children of my husband’s and two of mine) but our family they are all our children. The ages are 19,18,twins 15,14, and 20 mo. Old. We also have a granddaughter that will be 3 on 12/31. This will be a special year because we will be all together. We have been apart for two years. We moved to the southern area with four children and the others stayed up north. So, we are gathering all the kids up and making it a grand Christmas!! We are going up north.and we are going to get a tree.. Have all the kids join in decorating it!! Make hot cocoa with marshmallows.. And play movie on Christmas eve.. Our tradition has always been for the kids to open one gift.. And all sleepover.. And no one to come out until all family members are up then go at it!!! Many pictures!! Big breakfast then!! Can’t wait!?
Having kids makes all of the holidays (and life in general) more exciting. Christmas time is especially exciting. My husband is a coach and is gone quite a bit during this time of year, so all of the fun holiday things (lights, snow, trees) keep the kids pretty entertained and busy while Dad is gone.
